Raxa has been doing my eyebrows and upper lip threading for a year now, and im back for a second! She really knows how to shape your face and is an expert at her job. I paid 18 $ for both my eyebrows and upper lip and its is 100 times better than waxing any part of your face! Make sure you call first it can get busy!

I have the great misfortune of having a hairy face. Not just your standard peach fuzz, but dark sideburns, and gross chin hair and it’s just all bad.
I would get it waxed but would always break out afterwards and since going vegan was looking for an alternative that doesn’t exploit animals so I decided to give threading a try.
I made an appointment for my brows and was taken to Raxa’s room. The seat is super comfy I could practically take a nap and the music is relaxing along with the sound of the fan it makes for a really soothing ambiance.
Raxa asks me what I was looking for, I said just for my brows to be cleaned up, she says I am a good client for the full face (in non-​judgey way which I appreciated) I asked how much it was and she said $ 30, and it would be once a month. I was game.
I’m not gonna lie, threading hurts. In order of most to least painful I would rank the parts of the face as, forehead, upper/​middle brow area, and chin. Then it starts to hurt around the lower brow, under chin area, cheek, sideburns, and personally the upper lip hurts the most. Not to the point of tears but there is discomfort.
Raxa takes her time, making sure to not miss any spots, and asks if you need a break in case it hurts too much. The face massage at the end when she is applying the aloe vera gel is divine. I will continue to come to Raxa once a month for hair removal. I have no idea what I’m gonna do during the summer when I am home

I recently moved to New Orleans from Santa Cruz and everytime I visit I always make an appointment with Raxa. She is an absolute artist with the thread. I am showered with compliments after an appointment with her. She is my secret to perfect eyebrows. I have never found anyone better nor would I trust anyone but her with my eyebrows. She is absolutely fantastic. Best eyebrow threading in the country, not just Santa Cruz. And you can’t beat her prices!

Because of Raxa my eyebrows look the same and are no longer uneven! She is very precise and is a master at threading. I would recommend her to anyone, especially because her prices are so inexpensive.

I had never gotten my eyebrows done and was looking for someone with good reviews. I wanted my eyebrows cleaned up, a bit defined, but not too altered. I wanted them to remain looking natural but clean. Getting my eyebrows threaded with Raxa was a great choice.
She was really careful, gentle, and answered all the questions I had regarding brow maintenance. She told me let her know if the threading hurt so that she could stop for me to get a break which I thought was really caring on her part.
After finishing doing each brow she had me look at them and asked for my approval. Overall, she was really friendly and caring. I was left content with my eyebrows and would definitely recommend her!

Had mine done a few weeks ago and have been meaning to put in a review! Raxa did a fantastic job! She was precise, patient and great at threading! I’ve been doing this for over 10yrs and it’s really wonderful when the threading isn’t too fast bc then it cuts the hairs instead of pulls and it also keeps u from having a lot of irritation and breakouts… my skin was perfect afterward and hardly as pink as it usually gets after threading. I strongly recommend Raxa:)

I’ve been going to Raxa for at least 6 months every two weeks for facial hair removal (threading) and lately for eyebrow tinting. If you haven’t tried threading and especially if you have sensitive skin, as I do, give her a try. She is very thorough and it doesn’t hurt like waxing. Any redness that happens disappears by the time I’ve gotten into my car and driven away. She can even do it with my make up on. As far as tinting goes, it’s such a joy to wake up in the morning and have eyebrows! Even though they don’t grow evenly, she threads them to make them even and then tints them no mess, no fuss. Raxa is an artist.

Best place I have been to so far. She really makes you feel comfortable and is super nice. She always lets you check your eyebrows before you are done, but I never have to because I trust her so much.
