Over the past 6 years, Yin Wellness has been helping patients heal and overcome health issues naturally. By utilizing a variety of modalities, we are able to help with problems ranging from back pain and headaches to hormone imbalance and much more. Business Owner

Willow has been actively involved in the healing arts since 2000. She has been administering bodywork of various styles since 2001, and understands the many complex layers one has to work through in order to balance the body. Willow specializes in prenatal and postpartum health, and treats patients using acupuncture, massage and Chinese medicine. In addition to women’s health, she enjoys pediatrics and yields wonderful results with infants and young children. She received training and certification to become a Doula in 2003, and she brings a reassuring presence to the whole family throughout the birth process.

Willow is an amazing, gifted healer. Santa Cruz has an abundance of acupuncturists and bodyworkers but Willow distinguishes herself by first of all being gifted with truly healing hands. She combines a variety of massage methods (including craniosacral) with acupuncture. You walk out feeling transformed. She is additionally extremely knowledgeable regarding nutrition, hormones, and physiology in general. A plus in a town where «practitioners» seem to be around every corner. Willow is outstanding in her combination of treatments, knowledge, and experience. I would give her the most high recommendation!

I’ve been seeing Willow during my pregnancy and her treatments are the highlight of my week. Her gentle prenatal massage, acupuncture and cranial sacral are an amazing combination. I love the serenity of her studio space and the relaxing music she plays during sessions. Her knowledge of homeopathy helped me tremendously when I had a cough and she even resolved a water-​logged ear problem with her cranial sacral work at the end of my last session. I was amazed! Willow has been teaching yoga to and providing care to me and my young daughter for six years. She is a very calming presence and has wisdom far beyond her years.
When my daughter was a toddler, she allowed Willow to touch her with the «kitty whiskers» (acupuncture needles). My daughter no longer needs any care but keeps asking to go back anyway.
When I had a bad shoulder/​neck pain that radiated to my fingers I went to see Willow. After the massage/​cranial sacral work, the pain went away.

Willow is truly my sister, teacher and best friend on this healing journey. She has always had a gift for loving care with her hands, heart and words. It had been many years since I had received treatments from Willow, and when she worked on me recently I was blown away! The way she combines acupuncture, massage and craniosacral therapy on her table is truly a work of art. She is absolutely hands down my favorite yoga teacher, and just all around one of my favorite people on the planet. I wish we lived closer so that we could trade more often, and I can’t wait to participate in her Jade Moon Sacred Sexology workshop!

Willow is a healing angel. I have been getting body work for over 25 years, and have experienced a wide variety of practitioners, modalities, and touch. Very few compare to the care, nurturing, touch and treatments that I receive from Willow. I feel the combination of massage, cranial sacral and acupuncture that my body receives, is both relaxing and healing. Willow has been able to help my body feel better and heal faster when I have had specific issues (back, shoulders, neck) or just when I need balancing.
In a town where we are blessed to have so many healers, Willow stands out from the crowd., in her professionalism, touch and experience. Her new practice space is lovely, and tranquil.

I was in Santa Cruz visiting family & friends for a few days and wanted a massage. I looked on Unilocal (love Unilocal) and found Yin Wellness.
I called and Willow just happened to be free and took me right away. I arrived 20 minutes later and had a wonderful experience.
Her spa is super clean (important) had a cozy feel (love the tiny fireplace in the corner) and my treatment was wonderful. Willow is good at what she does and has great energy too! Her combination of massage, acupuncture, & cranial-​sacral work was gentle yet powerful and quite unique.
I walked out of there so relaxed I actually had to sit in my car for about 5 minutes because I was too relaxed/​mellow/​happy to even drive.
I highly recommend Yin Wellness and would definitely go back next time I find myself in Santa Cruz.

After four visit I was complete relieved of the chronic neck pain I had been experiencing for over a year. I did not have neck issue for 2 plus years. At first glance, the price of $ 90 for a one-​hour table massage looks to be on the high side. But then when you factor in that you get to soak for 20 to 30 minutes in an outdoor hot tub before your appointment, you now have 90 minutes for $ 90. And that’s a good deal! Once inside and on the table the relaxation resumes. There is nothing rough (read: elbows jammed into your muscles) about Willow’s style. It is nurturing and soothing. You can tell that with the first touch of her lithe fingers. She also incorporates a bit of acupuncture and some gentle cranio-​sacral massage in her treatment that leaves you drifting away and loving life. In the end it all adds up to 90 minutes of bliss. And what’s better than that? (Yeah, I know, 120 minutes of bliss, but you get the idea.)

When no doctors could come close to helping me with an inner ear issue and I had literally tried everything possible to find some relief — going to see her for massage, acupuncture and cranio-​sacral was life-​changing.
