Stay as far away as possible from this company… Scammers and crooks! This business is a joke, terrible customer service. I hope this company gets investigated because they are very shady… I don’t know how they continue to operate with all the corruption… if you use this company you are leaving a welcome mat for thieves. this has to be a business front for illegal activity… stay away

WARNING! Do not get this security system they will scam you and take your money. This company is a joke and so unprofessional. They try to charge us over $ 3,000 and taking our account to collections. We paid on time through automatic payments. If you try to complain you will get nowhere. They just want your money and on to the next victim.

They do not support their military customers. When someone is deploying over seas and needs to cancel their service, they will refuse to freeze or terminate the account unless they pay thousands of dollars. Awful customer service.

Worst. Company. Ever.
Liars and thieves all. Made me pay up front for equipment that was never delivered or installed. Installed the other «free» equipment incorrectly. Left holes in my walls, and wont come out to fix. Signed up the system under my father’s name (because he owns the house) and when they were notified of all the problems, told me they were going to fix them, but then i got a collection letter demanding even MORE money, under pain of credit damage and potential lawsuit.
They dont pay their employees either.

This is one of the best security system company out there. They had the best customer service and such a great team. Sebastian is amazing, he gave us information regarding the system and what works best for our house. They arrived on time and worked on my security alarm.

I would definetly recommend B&D Security. It wasn’t easy to setup service at first but working with Sebastian made it easier. I was not too familiar with alarm services but after speaking with Sebastian he explained how the services worked and I was then comfortable with signing up with there service. The install went great and so far we have been completely satisfied with the service.

PLEASE READ… Think twice about doing business with this unethical business!!!
First off… I’m a firefighter paramedic, high school honor role student, eagle scout, volunteer at the local high school type person… so I hope you will trust that my review is legit and trustworthy. I have never wrote a review on Unilocal before… but because of the actions of B&D security I feel compelled to do so.
The salesperson from B&D, who came to my house, boldface lied to me and said he worked for ADT and GE… He said he was not trying to sell anything, but was just there to upgrade my current alarm panel because it was out of date. I was initially suspicious, but the guy said he worked for the manufacturers of the alarm panel… general electric. And because he said he was not a salesperson I let him into my house…(big mistake)… He started asking questions beyond my name and phone number and again I became suspicious. Why does he need this info if I’m already an ADT customer and I’m supposedly on his customer update list? Long story short, I asked him point blank if he truely in fact worked for ADT as he claimed, at which point he now admitted that he worked for B&D alarm.
What??? I asked him to leave. and thankfully he did. The next morning I get a phone call from my credit monitoring service. Appearantly they ran my credit… I couldn’t believe it. I never gave him my social security number. Even more importantly I never gave him permission to do so. After talking to ADT I found out that companies like this one will routinely sign up costumers for their service under these types of false pretences. My personal opinion… If you have to scam people into using your product, then its probably not a very good product.
BTW as a learning lesson for all of us. Appearantly, a company can run your credit with just your name and address, even without your consent.
Now I have to fight to get this off my credit score
I encourage you to do your own research before condidering a contract with this unethical business. Take a look at the better business buraus rating of F and see for yourself.

B and D security has great technology available to keep you and your loved ones safe. If you’re in the market for home security systems or surveillance cameras give them a shot. Cameras are a great deterrence, plus they give you peace of mind while your away from home.

I give one star for the person who installed the service. He did a great job. Beyond that, I deeply regret ever having gotten this service. The other reviews on this site cover all of negatives better than I ever could. I wish I had reached any of the other major companies before contacting this company. We all must pay for our mistakes and this is one I’ll have to pay for. I pity the fool who does business with this company! I ought to know.

Needed to get security system installed at my home before Friday. The tech was there the next day at the scheduled time. It took about an hour to get it installed and the tech gave me instructions on how to use it. I recommend them.

The Salesman called me an ASSHOLE!
I was in my garage working on my car, when one of their salesman (Eric) approached me.
I asked if he was a salesman and told him that I was not interested in anything he had to sell. Eric then walked away and I went about my business. Several minutes later, I noticed Eric now trying to walk down the sidewalk to my front door! I again contacted him and confirmed that he was in fact a salesman for B&D Security.
I asked him for his ‘permit’ that allows him to go door to door — and we sort of got into an argument over if one was required or not. (I later found out where I live, a permit is not required — but where I used to live one was required) At that point I asked him to leave and while he was walking away he turned to face me and CALLED ME AN ASSHOLE!
When I told him that I was going to report him to his company he replied «Go ahead, THEY don’t care»
I should note that I live in a private, gate guarded community with prominent No Soliciting signs. Security promptly escorted him off the property

Their technology is great. The system is very easy to use and the price is decent. You can turn on and off from your phone, add other people to enable and disable, etc. As far as the actual security system goes, GREAT!

I was referred by my aunt and she has had the same system for years. I live in the country and stay home alone most nights because my husband works nights. We really needed the system and well love it bc it’s so easy to manage. Especially directly from my phone. Witch is a plus! So far we are really happy and they are always ready to help.

I’ve never had to deal with such unprofessional customer service with B&D they gave me the run around speaking to different people so unprofessional! Finally I talked to Maria she was so disrespectful and rude! I think they need more training on how to speak to people.

I used B&D security at my last home in Whittier… What a great experience! The techs were really knowledgeable and work was completed in a timely matter. Once again I’m using B&D in my new home! Same great service as expected. new techs that installed but still came through with a excellent service! I would recommend these guys over ADT any day! Better equipment and service!

B & D Security gave me a great customer experience. Everything went as expected with my moms home alarm system, they showed up on time and the installer customer service was great… I have recommended the company sales reps to A few other a received a referral bonus from the company. This is a awesome alarm company!

Couldn’t be happier with B n D. They secured my parent’s home. I feel safer knowing that my parents have easy access to emergency medical services.
Our rep Hamlet made the process very easy for us and walked us through everything. We were worried about our dogs setting off the alarm but the cool new motions they have are pet friendly!

I can’t put into words how glad and relieved I am after having my new alarm system installed. The representative that knocked on my door was very pleasant and explained in detail what the company was offering. The service that was provided was more than what i expected and they were quick to come and do the install. I recommend this company to anyone who needs good service and quality with an alarm system. The representative Mark was friendly and knowledgeable when it came to answering all my questions. Thumbs up!
