I have been coming here since I moved to the area around the time my son was born. He’s 6 now so that’s proof in itself that I’ve been around awhile and keep coming back. I brought my 1996 Buick Regal 2 door coupe during part of it’s 11 year tenure with me and it passed. I brought my 2003 Competition Yellow Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS 2 door coupe a few times within the 10 years of ownership and it passed every time. Now I’ve transitioned into a Ford Fusion 4 door family sedan that I’ve had for almost 2 years now but dur to the original sale date of the vehicle being registered I had /​have to smog it. Come to find out it didn’t have to even run on the dyno. they checked the stats under the new guidelines and the Fusion also passed. I was impressed. So yeah the cool thing too, in the past if you had your old invoice from a previous smog check they would honor that price unless the legislature would change certain smog standards. Then they would and will explain the difference in pricing as necessary for us to understand as a consumer. So if you want fairness for the price and the truth to go with it. Millennium Smog Check is the place. Star Certified which is what the DMV normally or usually asks for nowadays.

Awesome friendly and fast… The owner took care of me right away and didn’t take long to test my Audi A4.

This guy is very friendly, cheap, and fast.
I have an SUV and he only charged me $ 50 total (including the certificate) to get it done. Other places I had called wanted to charge me $ 60 + an additional $ 10 for the certificate.
It took about 15 minutes for him to finish my smog check. He thanked me a couple times, made small talk, and told me to have a good day a couple times. His name’s Enrique. Overall, he seemed like a good dude.
I would recommend this shop. Price and service are both on point.

They know exactly what they’re doing, these guys are professionals and masters at their craft. I’m very pleased, just got my 2006 Audi A4 smoged.

I took my vehicle to get a Smog test at Millennium on Norwalk Blvd in Santa Fe Springs and had a terrible and costly experience.
First, they charge for a re-​test; stating overhead is too high – well maybe if you knew your business you would have enough volume to cover you overhead.
Second, two plus years ago I had a new catalytic converter installed into my vehicle; subsequently the state banded the use of this particular catalytic converter. In other word it was legal when it was installed, but is banded from being sold now.
Millennium marked my test as «tampered» and failed my car. I replaced the Catalytic converter and returned to Millennium, who stated he want to see the sales receipt, which I did not have with me. He also stated he was not going to look under the car and verify the new model number (He went under the car to find out I had the now banded converter, but couldn’t do it to verify I had replaced it) and his policy has changed about re test being is now a charge.
So I got me and my car out of there, never to return again.
I went to the referee who stated «If it was legal when you installed it, the state would not make me replace it and it should have never been marked as tampered»
Third, as a result of their misinformation, it cost $ 51.00 at their shop and $ 275.00 to replace the converter.
FOURTH, DON’T USE THEM!!!

Mind you, I haven’t received service yet, but their customer service on the phone is amazing! I have been calling around all morning and they are the only one’s to explain to me the breakdown of the price and why it’s so expensive ($ 60 total for me) for a smog check (very sensitive machines that break down easily). Well, I made my decision and set an appointment with them because they said that no matter how many times they need to test, they will test til it passes (still, $ 60 and no going over that) So, i had a set price! Well, I called back and the gentleman remembered my name from an hour before! First and LAST! I dont know, I love that. I’ll update my review later on today. My appt is at 10A =)
