I have had the same problem with this Light Impressions and it’s parent company New Century Direct. After charging my credit card, I received an email that my order was on back order. 10 month later — still no order. The company doesn’t respond to emails nor answers it’s phone. The online site still is live so more customers can be cheated. Be aware — Don’t order from this company!!!

Century Photo, a part of New Century Direct, is a scam. They took an order from me a year ago in June 2010, claimed the merchandise was on back order for 6 to 8 weeks. After 5 months and many phone calls, I finally cancelled my order and asked for a refund. I can’t tell you how many times they promised me they were either sending the money, having a supervisor contact me, or made up a bunch of BS about their accounting office being relocated to Florida, then the relocation not happening. The bottom line is they still owe me $ 166 which I’m sure I’ll never see. Luckily I’m out of work right now so I have plenty of time to try to warn as many people as possible of this scam. And it’s not just me. A simple Google search of CENTURYPHOTO with lead you to plenty of sites detailing other customers(very similar) miserable experiences with these thieves. Please, I repeat, PLEASEDONOTEVERBUYANYTHINGFROMCENTURYPHOTO!!!
