I have stopped here a couple of times because it’s on my way to work and I’m new to town and want to try all of the coffee. It has high ratings so I was excited about the convenience. The first time I had an americano and realized it was not a high level coffee place. Very mediocre beans. The coffees I’ve had are poor to mediocre. Then, unfortunately, I tried some food… THESINGLEWORSTSANDWICHEVER!!! I ordered the mozzarella pesto sandwich for $ 5. She handed me a plastic wrapped sandwich made of two awful pieces of cheap bread with a lot of lettuce, a THIN slice of cheap fake mozzarella, a half a smear of greasy pesto and a ¼ pound of REDONIONS!!! I couldn’t eat more than a bite. Me and my car smelled like red onions all day. Very disappointed.

Great lattes, they have unsweetened almond milk, which is a rarity in the Fe. Woman owned, minority owned business. Great crew of baristas. Highly recommend for a morning or early afternoon pick me up

This coffee was really mediocre. When I told the barista I wanted a 12 oz americano with cream, she brought out a can of whipping cream and then handed me a watered down 16 oz. it wasn’t what I ordered but I didn’t want spend the time to have her remake a not so great cup of coffee.

We hit up this great coffee stand several times on a recent Santa Fe trip. Excellent coffee(finally a place that serves strong iced coffee) with great service. The guy working here took his time to talk to us about Santa Fe through the drive through and told us several places to check out(no cars were behind us). Great prices. Go if you’re wanting to grab a coffee to-go and want to avoid big-name chains. Will be back next Santa Fe trip!

By far my favorite little coffee stand in Santa Fe! Love the fast service and the pastry selections!!! The coffee is always spot on and the fact that I don’t need to get out of my car to taste some non-Starbucks coffee is fantastic! So happy they’ve been around for as long as they have!

Great coffees, great service. Baristas are happy to give descriptions and make recommendations. Always friendly and a frequent buyer card to boot. When I want coffee to go — or even when I just want coffee and I can land somewhere else this is always my ‘go to’ place.

Stopped here on a whim and almost left since it was sooooo tiny! So grateful to the other great Unilocal reviews! We have fantastic mochas and our daughter enjoyed her fruit smoothie! Great service as well!

I am so happy Hava Java is still thriving! I was a student at The College of Santa Fe when it opened in 1994 and this was in the perfect spot for my commute. I probably even did a little jig in my car the first time I saw it. It was the first photo booth converted into a coffee drive through I’d ever seen. If you’re curious about what kind of new drink to try, just ask the barista. They are always really nice and incredibly patient even during a rush.

This place is a great little stop in Santa Fe. Hava Java is close to my office and I discovered with my wife on a whim one day. This has become a daily stop for both of us. The baristas are fantastic and the coffee is the best in town. Starbucks has nothing on these guys. Now that we’re regulars, they all also remember what our drinks are and they are already making them as we pull up. We’ll keep going here for as long as they remain in business.
