They are very helpful through the design process of showing you what will work and what won’t. Their judgement as established tattoo artists is and should be trusted 100% because they are guaranteed to bust something out that is badass and will look great on you.
Max Ireland did a rad piece on my forearm and it was jam-​packed with color and umph. I could tell he put a lot into the design and the actual tattoo, making it personal for not only me but Max as well because we both fell in love with it even more once it was done.

Great artists if you are looking for custom work. Clean, professional and friendly. I am very happy with the sleeve Jason is working on. He took his time to make sure everything fit right and I couldn’t be happier with the how his image met my ideas.

Jason is a true talent– patient & diligent, he listened to exactly what I wanted & created an amazing draft– he was flexible, adjusting size & placement to find the most ideal fit– he was delicate & efficient, adding color on the fly to complete the piece to absolute perfection!
The salon itself is beautiful, comfortable, clean & calming– Crow & Jason helped us to feel at home, so much so that I opted for another two tattoos on the fly!

Yep, I went back! As soon as I heard I’d be in Santa Fe, I reached out to Crow about an idea I had and she had space exactly when I’d be in town! Yay!
I love the space, and my second trip to Talis Fortuna was even better than the first. The design she created was beyond perfect, and I sort of welled up with tears, it was so special.
I was getting my shin done so it was a bit ouch but not bad and her experienced artistry and hand makes it a fun time.

OK for real, I’ve been getting tattoos for 12 years, and have lived all over the country. Talis Fortuna is by far THE BEST tattoo shop I have ever been to. Whether you are getting tattooed for the first time, or have tons of tattoos already, this is the place to get work. Everywhere I go people stop me on the street to ask me where I get tattooed. I have even begun recommending my friends and family who live outside of the state of New Mexico to think about going to Santa Fe specifically to have the Talis Fortuna experience. This is why:
