The Bobcat Inn is located 7.5 miles from the historic Plaza in the Southeast foothills, right next door to the famous Bobcat Bite café. We serve a gourmet breakfast each morning with specialities such as Spinach Portobella Frittata, Apple Dutch Babies, Stuffed French Toast, and Blue Corn Blueberry Pancakes to name a few. Cozy, Romantic and views to die for, After breakfast you can stroll through our gardens or meet the chickens that lay our fresh eggs or take a walk on the Bobcat Trail.

History

Established in 2002.

The Bobcat Inn has been open for 10 years. It was originally a hacienda with thick adobe walls and a courtyard. The inn has had many lives, originally a home to the Peacock family. When we bought the property it had to be totally transformed into the inn. Remodeling was not as much fun as the decorating. The Bobcat Bite is next door and is famous for their green chile hamburgers. The Bobcat trail goes up the mountain behind our property and the Bobcat Crossing is across the road. I have seen only one bobcat twice in the same month since opening the inn. This whole area used to be known for bobcats. There are deer, coyotes, lots of birds, and lizards to add to the natural landscape.

I have been the owner and innkeeper since opening The Bobcat Inn in August of 2002. I love meeting all of our interesting guests and many of them have become my friends since they come several times a year. My husband and I make breakfast and do most of the gardening. We are lucky to have a very helpful staff. I feel very blessed to get to live in such a beautiful place and share it with my guests.
