A Real Treat Candy Boutique is Southern California’s first all natural candy shop, specializing in products free of corn syrup, artificial colors, artificial flavors and many common allergens.

This full-​service candy shop offering both bulk «pick and mix» and packaged candies including chocolates, gummies, sour candy, jelly beans, caramels, lollipops, hard candies, gum, and more. The shop is stocked with products that meet special dietary needs including big 8 allergen free (milk, eggs, fish, crustacean shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat and soybean), gluten free, vegan, kosher, low-​glycemic and peanut free.

The shop features over a hundred kinds of candy from dozens of artisan, small business, and specialty candy makers from across the country.

History

Established in 2013.

Our first pop-​up store opened on Oct. 27^th, 2013 inside of «Books And Cookies» on Main St. in Santa Monica, then moved on Feb. 7, 2014 to the Westside Pavilion Mall in Rancho Park, nested inside «Jaxx Boutique», and finally settled back in Santa Monica in our very own flagship store.

Those who know me know how much I adore candy. If you take me to a store and there is candy there, I will be checking it out. But I didn’t want to just be a kid in a candy store — I wanted to own that candy store!

When my husband and I went looking for candy free of refined sugar and food dyes, I thought I would find some great options to share with our family and friends. What I found was the career I always dreamed of as the owner of my own candy shop.

I take great pride in being the first candy shop owner to deliver a store free of candy containing high fructose corn syrup, artificial colors and artificial flavors. I hope you’ll come visit the store when you are in Santa Monica, CA to experience the more than 100 products we have on our shelves.
