Established in 2000.

A beachy-​chic bustling neighborhood café, serving up healthy, comfort food to the west side. Open breakfast (served all day), lunch and dinner, the menu has something for everyone. Highlights are our homemade soups (Turkey chili, matzo ball, dairy free vegetable purée) challah French toast, oversized salads such as Cobb salad with turkey bacon, and our seasonal dinner menu which is fresh, clean and innovative. Our menu has something for everyone and has all types of healthy twists which provide food that you will feel comfortable eating every day. Business Owner

Food has always been a major part of Jenny Morton’s life. After graduating UCLA, she worked for a retail company in New York opening stores throughout the country. Working in the corporate world for 5 years, she then decided to combine her retail experience and love of food to create the Divine Pasta Company in 1992 which grew into a thriving wholesale and retail company. After selling her share in 1999, she started building a brand of chic accessible restaurants called Blue Plate. Currently she has Blue Plate Montana, Blue Plate Oysterette and Blue Plate Taco.
