Worst Charles David location. The store manager Tamira was way too rude and not willing to help at all. I will never buy anything here again. She was using her phone in the back of the store when custumers where waiting for help.

Can I give zero stars? I would really like to. I have bought two pairs of shoes from this store in the past two years. Both broke. The first the sole fell off, and the second the strap snapped after two wears. I brought the second pair in hoping for a replacement, but was told that they couldn’t do anything because the manager was not working that day. Apparently the people in the store can’t make a simple exchange for damaged merchandise. I left the shoes there and said to have the manager call me once she reviewed. She finally did and said that she would not give me a new pair, but they would try to repair them. Week goes by, and I call again. The repair did not work and they will replace the shoes… but I have to pay $ 12 shipping because they are no longer available in the store. I have to pay more money for the shoes that were poorly manufactured. I honestly just wanted my money back but that was not an option. The manager and the staff of this store are probably the least helpful people I’ve ever encountered. They have never heard of customer service and couldn’t seem to do anything without making 15 phone calls. When I finally said I would just buy a new pair of shoes for equal or lesser value, they told me that they couldn’t give me the BOX for the new shoes because I didn’t return the broken shoes in their box. Seriously? This is not real life. Never shop here. Worst store in the history of shopping.

Stay clear of this place, especially from their Santa Monica store. Their sales people and managers are a bunch of liars. I went to the store and found the shoes that I liked but they did not have my exact size for me to try. The sales person convinced me to order them for home delivery saying that if I don’t like them or they don’t fit I can always return them for a full refund. I got the shoes in mail in about a week and as soon as I tried them I realized they are not comfortable. I did not ware then at all except for 1 – 2 min to try them on at home. The next afternoon I took them back to the store with receipt but was very rudely told that there are no returns on these shoes and all sales are final. Only after ½ hour of arguing they agreed to at least let me exchange them for a different kind(I bought the same pair of boots from them some time ago in a different color) So, after all I am stuck with a second pair of boots that I already own. They lost a very good costumer as I am NEVEREVEREVER buying from them again and will tell every friend or people I know(and being a hair stylist I meet A LOT of women) no never ever even think of buying from these people anything in their life.

You beat me to the review Barry! It was good seeing you again. Nice posting. I enjoyed the collection. Gave me an idea of what to look for in boots. I loved all the thigh boots but was in the market for some rustic riding boots. The appetizers were yummy especially the endive boats. I need that recipe and should find it online somewhere.

*** New store opening celebration in SaMo Place, 14Sept. *** Introducing the latest Charles David Fall/Winter 2010 footwear… My pick in the collection: form-fitting thigh-high boots w/5″ heels. Those are flat out hotness! –1 star for just having 5 different pairs of men shoes … really, I mean really, only 5 styles of men shoes? That shows a serious lack of commitment for men to spend $$$. Note to Mgmt: men will spend good $$$ for good shoes too! =/ As for the soirée, the sundried tomato & pesto & cheese burrata was good yet the endive boats filled w/caesar salad were special. The DJ was good … staff was attentive … 25% off … but small store. *** Charles David is a good addition to this newly remodeled mall. ***
