The pumps are sooooo slow… Literally took over 10 minutes to pump 18 gallons of gas. Very frustrating when you’re in any hurry(or not!). When I inquired Manager admitted that«the pumps are slow»

Suzie Q’s Fun Facts: Chevron is a successor company to Standard Oil, one of America’s first oil companies(established in the 1870s by John D. Rockefeller). In 1911, as a result of the Sherman Anti-Trust Act, the supreme court ruled that Standard Oil had to be broken up into 34 different companies, including the companies now known as Mobil and Chevron. =≅≅≅≅≅≅≅~ Not everyone loves his or her job. Sometimes, you’ve got to take a crappy job in order to make ends meet. And I sympathize; I’ve held a crappy job or two of my own. That being said: There is absolutely no excuse for treating a customer as rudely and impatiently as clerk«Jorge» did on my last visit here. I went to fill up on a Sunday morning, and as I was authorizing my credit card at the pump, I received a weird«wait for cashier authorization» error message(which you usually don’t get when paying at the pump). I went inside the little convenience store to ask for assistance. The man at the cashier, Jorge, gave me a dirty look and snapped at me impatiently, «Just push the gas nozzle in.» I was taken aback by his rude tone, and blurted, «I don’t know what you mean.» Then Jorge snorted, rolling his eyes, and said again, his voice raised in volume: «Push the gas nozzle in!» Now, I may not be mechanically inclined or a car person… but I’m also no idiot. I just didn’t get what he meant, since the nozzle was already pushed into my car. «Okay, but there’s no need to be rude!» I retorted. With that, Jorge impatiently, and with an annoyed and pissed-off stride, stormed past me to my car, and adjusted the nozzle until the error message went away. Then he stormed away, the dirty look still plastered on his face. Again, I sympathize; Clearly, Jorge hates his job. But being friendly, patient and polite to your well-meaning customers is a choice that is not only good for business, but good for the soul. Jorge should try it sometime.

Wish I could give negative stars. I pulled into this gas station this morning to fill my tank which typically equates to at least $ 80. As I was pulling in this morning an employee claiming to be the manager of this particular gas station raced in his car, clearly late for work, and attempted to cut me off as I was pulling up to a pump. As I got out of my car he angrily and aggressively yelled at me «are you talking to me?» I wasn’t, as I had my child in the car, but at that point I did address him. I asked him why he felt he needed to drive so unsafely and cut a customer off as they were trying to reach a pump and he started yelling very loudly for all people at the gas station to hear, enough for the other employees to come out. He yelled«don’t worry about me, I am the manager.» Wow. I will never go back to this gas station again and implore anybody reading this to not give them a single penny of your money. There are plenty of other choices on that same corner.
