Not happy at all with service. Ordered two weeks ago… got an email stating they needed my complete address… although I already gave it to them. Then, it still took 4 days to be mailed to me… worse thing is that only one pack came when I ordered two!!! I contacted them again… took a week for a response and finally «mailed out» but not by rush mail… Still waiting… even though I informed them my wedding is less than a week away! No apologies either.

I’ve always been a bit hesitant about tanning in general. I try and avoid the sun, and tanning beds (especially), like the plague. Recently I had a wedding to attend and my pale, white legs just weren’t going to cut it!
I shuffled into Colour Couture, reluctant and a little afraid, but luckily, all of my fears were quickly alleviated. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and the atmosphere was inviting — it’s such a cute little shop!
My biggest concern was the color itself, I wanted something subtle, just enough to compliment the shade of my dress against my skin. I expressed these concerns and asked them to please not turn me into a Jersey stereotype. I couldn’t have been more pleased with the results!
My session was over quickly and I saw results instantly. Aside from the great color, the tan made my legs and arms looks super tone (who needs the gym?!). Everyone handled themselves professionally, the girls were so sweet and worked with my skeptical attitude. Also, their prices were very affordable! Another important note — there weren’t any streaky, orangy body prints left on my car seats!
Now I’m just hoping I get invited to another wedding soon so I can go in for another tan sesh :)

Really disappointed. I had bought a deal for 3 and tried to make my first appointment and was cancelled once on the day of the appointment. I was really pleased that they were so apologetic, however the second appointment I made, I was stood up. I had a photo shoot the next day, so this timing was extremely frustrating. I had to find another location that I knew I could depend on. This place is a local business and so close to my work, I really wanted it to work out. Too bad. I hope others have a better experience than me.

Monica and her team at Colour Couture are beyond AMAZING! As an event planner, I always need to be ready to look my best and the perfect tan is just as important as the perfect dress, hair and make-​up. People are always amazed when I tell them my tan is not from the sun, but instead a healthy (non-​toxic) spray. This was my first time getting a professional airbrush tan, and I must say, I’m hooked – not just on the spray tanning, but on CC! The girl who did my airbrushing (I feel bad that I can’t remember her name, but this was a couple months ago and I’m just now getting around to the review – sorry!) was super sweet and made me feel really relaxed and comfortable. She was complimentary, and did an amazing job on my tan! i was a little worried when I left the place, because I was SUPER dark – kinda looked like one of those botched orange-​y tans – but she reassured me that was just the bronzer, which helps the color underneath settle in, and that when I took a shower the next morning the bronzer would wash off and I’d be left with just the natural-​looking tan. She wasn’t wrong! I took a shower the next day and all that orangey-​ness washed right off, leaving me looking like I’d just spent a week in the Bahamas – only way healthier!
SOME TIPS for anyone else getting a tan: sleep on a soft towel (what I did) or some washable fabric unless you plan on washing your entire bedspread the next day, because the bronzer WILL rub off on fabrics. Also, be very careful when washing your hands not to splash water on yourself while the bronzer is setting, because spots will wash off the bronzer and then you’ll end up having a spot there where the water was the next day when you wash the rest of the bronzer off.

I’m really confused by these five star ratings. Here is my experience:
–It’s impossible to get an appointment. They are closed for four day stretches. You have to call a 1 – 800 number to make an appointment and it’s always an answering machine.
–It’s a pop-​up tent in the back of a dress store. No sticky feet shoes, no hair nets, no lotion, no privacy. They stand there and watch you undress, which I guess is no big deal since they’ll see it soon enough, but it just feels weird.
–They didn’t ask me what level of tan I wanted. I’ve always had a choice but this was apparently a one-​shade-​fits-​all. Which scares the heck out of me!
–I barely saw a change in color from my normal skin tone. I’m extremely fair, blonde, blue eyed, so my typical skin tone is very pale. I had a very slight tan line from my underwear, but nothing like I’m used to.
–Metered parking only on a very busy street.
Overall, the women who sprayed me were nice and it was a very fast experience. But, my experience at every single other spray tan salon I’ve been to in LA, San Diego and Chicago have been far superior and my tan much better.

Once again! I have to say that Colour Couture is the only place I will go to get my airbrush tans. Their tans are the best in LA.

Colour Couture is absolutely amazing when it comes to the art of airbrush tanning. I have been getting bronzed by Monica @ Colour Couture for 3 ½ years now and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I’m never orange or streaky. I get many compliments on my «natural glow». I recommend Colour Couture to all my family and friends! Go get your glow on with Monica :)
