Our mission is to give children the right start, a solid grasp of the basics, a love of learning and a genuine curiosity of the world around them.

At Delphi, a child’s education becomes something they build and own, not something piled onto them. In the end, we want to see our students maintain their individuality, while being self-​motivated, confident, active and purposeful individuals who are capable of pursuing and reaching their chosen goals.

Our program is highly personalized, with one on one reading instruction and individual academic programs for every student. We offer a STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math) program for all ages, regular art and music classes and field trips that connect what they learn in the classroom with the real world.

Students at Delphi Academy become proficient at the subjects they study and develop a true joy and love for learning!

History

Established in 2003.

In 1973, Delphi Schools, Inc. was formed by a dedicated group of educators with a vision for a new kind of school – a school that encompassed more than academics, that developed in each student a strong sense of personal ethics, conviction and purpose, that didn’t advance a student based on age but by accomplishment and instilled in each student the basic tools of study not just to «get by» but to learn anything.

We moved to our current campus in 2006 in downtown Santa Monica, just four blocks from the Pacific Ocean. The campus has five academic classrooms; an art room; a music room; a fully equipped science lab; a fully enclosed playground with jungle gym, monkey bars, swings, a rock climbing wall and a multi-​purpose sports court; and use of an auditorium for assemblies and recitals.

Delphi services students from all over the West side of Los Angeles, including Santa Monica, Brentwood, Pacific Palisades, Marina del Rey, Playa del Rey, Playa Vista, Mar Vista, Westchester and Malibu.

Manager

Ms. Garrison is the Head of School at Delphi Academy of Santa Monica. She has a background in education and has worked with the Delphi network of schools for over 25 years and was the Head of School at Delphi Academy of Boston.
