We were going away for two weeks over Christmas, and all our usual pet-​sitting sources had vanished. So although Fetch! was more expensive than we were used to, we signed up and met with our cat-​care savior, Amir. And it was plain from the outset that he was good with our little Sophie, so off we went with only the usual mild anxiety about leaving our pet in the hands of a near-​stranger.
It was all fine, and that’s exactly what we wanted. Amir stayed at our place, gave Sophie plenty of attention, kept her fed and entertained, and reported back to us regularly. He sent photos, asked questions when unsure about something, and on a daily basis reassured us that the kitty was well-​kept. When we got home the cat was safe and fit and happy to see us, and the place was also in good shape. If we have any complaint, it’s that Sophie got so much attention from Amir that she was a little spoiled when we got home, as if to say, «Where’s that nice Amir who I had completely wrapped around my little paw?»
That’s a good problem to have!
They did a great job for us, we’ll use them again, and hurray for Fetch! and Amir.

Fetch! Pet Care is amazing! They are super responsive and always available. I wanted write a review to say how happy we are with Fetch! and our dog walker John. He is fantastic. He is attentive, pays attention to details, provides helpful information to us about our dog, Rolo, as we learn about her having adopted her only a few weeks ago. We really appreciate him and the time and effort he puts in every day with her! We have used Fetch! for about 8 years now, and this is our second dog with them. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I was nervous about leaving my kitty Matilda for 9 days while I went to visit my family for Christmas, since I just adopted her a couple of months ago and she’s a bit skittish around other people. When I asked around for petsitter recommendations, two different friends recommended Fetch (one had used it for his dog and another for her cat), so I figured that was good enough for me. The petsitter Claudia was very nice when she came over to meet Tilly and I appreciated her daily text updates while I was away. Scaredy cat Tilly even let Claudia pet her! I’ll definitely use Fetch again and recommend to friends.

This might be my second or third review of Fetch, and they continue to earn a 6-​star rating. Last year in a crunch at Xmas, we were without someone to watch our dog for 5 days. Fetch came to our rescue with someone named Shannon, just saying «she’s one of our best and she can fit you in.»
So it’s now a year later and we’ve called on Shannon a few times now: to help us out with an overnight now and then, and then again this past Xmas for 5 days. She’s great. We tip her well because she takes great care of our dog.
What I love: she’s a dog person, and our dog clearly loves her. Shannon is the only person besides us and my mom who she’ll allow to give her belly rubs — and you dog people know what that means. We get text and picture updates that are really sweet too.
So we’ve gone from being panicky dog parents who worry, to being like «oh she’s fine, she loves Shannon.» And we don’t worry at all.
So we have nothing but A+ reviews for Fetch. They’re great.

Gretchen has meant a great deal to our family for a long time. She’s been consistent, reliable and trustworthy. But more importantly she’s been patience, attentive and loving. She always notices if one of the girls does not feel well. She always sends the pics I ask for and is flexible with our crazy, hectic schedule. Having a dog (Scooby) that is particular about humans — Gretchen is a comfort to know not only is Scooby in the best hands, but Scooby may even love Gretchen more than me and Neil! She is seriously the best.

Claudia from Fetch! did an excellent job caring for our pets and our home while we were away. She sent daily updates and made it so we could just enjoy being home when we got back rather than having to clean up or deal with unhappy cats. Wonderful service that we’ve been using for over 3 years now.

Fetch is a great service for pet owners who want the very best for their four-​legged family members. Regina is not just a great business owner, but she is a compassionate, friendly, genuine person; I speak from experience. I would trust her with my children — not to mention my pets.
So don’t pause (paws); call them! Your furry fur-​ends will thank you.

First things first… this review is long overdue. Sorry Josh and Fetch that it has taken me so long to write this. My wife and I really appreciate the fact that we don’t have to worry about our two cats and one dog whenever we get a chance to get out of town. Communication is always good, texts and pictures to calm our nerves. We know that we are not always the easiest of clients but we try to book as far in advance as possible (sorry not always).
So, thank you again for loving our furry kids and we will not hold it against you that they seem to be happier when you visit than when we come back from our trips…
We will continue to recommend you guys to our friends and neighbors!

First off, any place where I receive individualized attention from the owner is an A+ in my book. On top of that, Regina (the owner) is incredibly wonderful to speak with and genuinely cared about the well being of my two English Bulldogs. Each time that I used Fetch I was able to meet with each sitter in advance and when I had to change dates on short notice the concierge service was more than accommodating to my last minute needs. Thanks again!

When I lived in Playa Vista, I used Fetch for my cat Oliver few times. The different sitters I got were always sending pictures to me while I’m out. They always followed the instructions I left. One of them actually bought treats for Oliver. It was nice knowing that the someone other than myself care about Oliver. One time I had to get a sitter last time due to a family emergency, the receptionist was very understanding and was able to get someone for me right way. Overall, I’ll definitely recommend Fetch to animal lovers.

I recently got two new cats and needed to find someone to look after them for a long weekend. In the past, we used friends, but we wanted to upgrade to a more professional service in case they were not available.
I contacted Fetch by phone and spoke with Julie at the West LA office who had me fill out some paperwork then set me up with a sitter. The sitter’s name was Cindy, and she met me briefly for a consultation for a few minutes the day before I left on vacation. I had written up a detailed email instructing Cindy on exactly what to do, and sent that via email per Fetch’s instructions to both Fetch and Cindy. I also gave her instructions in person. I made sure that everything was laid out perfectly and Cindy was supposed to come three times a day for three days.
The first day she did not show up, and I checked on our security footage to verify this. I then texted her and asked if she had visited the cats and asked how they were doing. She said that she in fact had visited the cats and that they were doing great. I then called Fetch (at 8pm) and let them know that our cats had been left unattended for almost a day without food and that Cindy had lied to us. Cindy then tried to cover up her lie by saying that she meant to text someone else and then she rushed over to see the cats for an hour.
After reviewing the security footage the next morning, we were appalled by what we saw on the footage. We will save the details, but she not only disrespected our cats and us, but she was extremely unprofessional in her communication.
Fetch should really do a better job in screening sitters, and I would not recommend this service to anyone, given our experience. Thankfully, they did not charge us anything and a friend was able to come over and take care of the cats for the duration of the weekend for a much lower price.

I was looking for a dog-​walking service where I could fully trust that my dog, Daphne, would be taken care of and walked. I had had some shady dog walkers in the past so I was extremely selective.
Fetch has now been walking Daphne for over a year and I couldn’t recommend them highly enough! Laura walks my girl and sends me a picture and update of their walk. I had been working at home and recently transitioned to a job where I’m gone all day. I was worried how Daphne would take this but having Fetch walk her and play with her has been a total comfort to me.

Ok — so I trust Cindy probably more than my friends and family to care for my pup. She, and the entire Fetch team, is great and responsive. I’ve been a customer for almost 7 years and was pretty sad when I moved out of their direct area (westside) to MidCity. BUT then Cindy was able to still make visits and our pup is so happy to have her. We’ve also had the pleasure of Preston, bless his soul — was hated by our pup due to her mistrust of guys. But he tried so hard and keep at it and wore her down. Fetch is also wonderful about taking in my packages and mail when I need it or just for general home visits.

If I could give Fetch! Pet Care 0 stars I would have.
I recently moved to LA so was looking for a pet sitter can use when work or family takes me out of town. These folks have some terrific reviews so I really thought I snagged a good company. I’m sorry to say I can’t endorse them based on my recent experience. And here’s why:
Initially, I was super excited to fill out the really long form asking for all details of what I need in a pet sitter. I thought it would be helpful, so I completed everything as thoroughly as I could. I met the sitter and everything seemed okay. I explained in-​person when we met, that they have to sift the litter really well because it’s not the scoopable kind. I came home a week later to cat urine on the bed (he went several times on the bed it was still damp when I got home) and my cat had urinated outside of the litter box on the mat too, it was still damp when I got home and smelled rancid.
Yes, my cat is picky. He likes his litter thoroughly mixed up after removing feces, etc. His litter will last a week this way before I have to change the full litter box. I also use an additive called Eco-​Wise to neutralize any ammonia smell. So If the litter box is not fully mixed up then he will look to go elsewhere. Yes, my cat is picky and probably spoiled. But you know what? I’m paying for a «professional service» supposedly, not some random person to take care of my cat. Regardless, I was getting texts from the pet sitter saying everything was fine. I came home and to my surprise the stench in the house reaked of disgusting cat urine. It was gross. I can’t believe the pet sitter didn’t notice the stench. What bothered me is I kept getting consistent texts everything was okay. Okay to who? Maybe to a cat farm it’s okay to smell like that, but it’s my apartment and my bed with old and damp cat urine. Regina’s excuse was maybe the pet sitter didn’t notice because she has 5 cats of her own. I thought if she let my place stench like that what does her place smell like? That’s just disgusting.
Needless to say, I suspect the litter was not mixed up thoroughly as I had requested. The litter box looked like it had been cleaned out and new litter in it’s place as well, so I can’t tell other than him urinating outside of the box what actually happened. Pet sitter must have known something was not right as she cleaned out the whole litter box before I got home. Sketchy. My cat has been on this schedule for years before as I go out of town often and no previous issues. He went to the vet a week before I was away for his routine check-​up and didn’t have an infection of any sort.
I cannot recommend the person who took are of my cat, nor Fetch! Pet Care for the way they handled this incident. The pet sitter was pretty oblivious to the cat urine stench in the home. During the initial visit my place NEVER smelled like cat urine — so the change should have been quite noticeable. Sometimes people come over to visit and they are even surprised I have a cat. Even though Regina offered a «goodwill» discount, the time it took to launder soiled sheets, 4 pillows and pillow cases (thank goodness my bed had a bed bug cover that was waterproof or my new Tempurpedic mattress would have been ruined), buy white vinegar and enzyme to spray and clean the floor around the litter box and clean the mat, her «discount» was totally not worth it. Everyone I spoke to said she should not have even charged me for bad service.
Regina said she wanted an opportunity to make it up to me ‘next time’. There is no next time. I would never use Fetch! Pet Care again.

We LOVE Fetch!
We used to get friends to house-​sit or cat-​sit, but even when we’d pay trustworthy friends, we weren’t always convinced that our cat was being properly fed, or taken care of.
Fetch changed everything for us. By providing caring, conscientious pet watchers, they’ve taken all of the stress out of the «who’s going to care for our cat» part of the equation.
We’ve been impressed every single time. Whether it has been Mariana, who texts us daily pictures of the cat, or Sarah, who keeps us up-​to-​date — or Regina, who manages Fetch. .. it has been an A+ experience every step of the way, even when we’ve had a complex veterinarian feeding routine, or medication to be dispensed.
For this New Year’s holiday, we didn’t know we were going to be traveling till the very last minute. We wrote an e-​mail 24 hours in advance, and Regina was still able to get someone to cover for us for several days, two times daily.
It’s not just about feeding the pets — the caregivers also spend some time with each animal — which shows up when you return home and the animal isn’t stressed or distressed at all. .. and there are no signs of stress behavior, e.g., tearing up furniture, vomiting, spraying, etc. — which used to happen sometimes when our cat was left to acquaintances.
Fetch has really perfected the art of caring for our furry friends, and making our trips out of town less stressful. Everyone we’ve met there seems genuinely passionate about caring for animals. It’s inspiring, and it’s why they get a very enthusiastic recommendation — and a HUGE «THANK YOU» — from us.

I’ve had a great experience with Fetch over the last couple of months! I was going on a series of trips and needed someone to help take care of my new pup, and Fetch definitely came to the rescue. I’ve met 2 of their walkers/​sitters– they were both fabulous. Very knowledgable about dogs and knew exactly how to make mine comfortable. They always checked in with updates and pictures of my pup when I was out of town.
I’ve also scheduled nightly walks here and there in a pinch, and they’ve always been available to accommodate my last-​minute requests. I appreciate how responsive they are– they always get back to you promptly and their communication is clear and helpful.
Highly recommend Fetch to anyone needing a dog walker or dog sitter!

My girlfriend and I recently added a French bulldog puppy to our home and needed to enlist the services of a dog walker when we could no longer bring him to work. We contacted Fetch! Pet Care and they immediately introduced us to one of their associates, named Luxx.
Luxx came over to our apartment to introduce herself and we immediately felt comfortable handing over our little guy to her. She took the time to get to know us, familiarized herself with the puppy and covered all the specific things we needed to discuss in order for us to know that we were in good hands.
Luxx began walking our puppy the next day and we couldn’t have been more impressed with the amount of attention and care that she provided him. Luxx consistently sent us updates regarding his eating, sleeping and bathroom habits and always texted us several pictures a day to let us know that the little guy was doing well. It was clear that Luxx cared for our puppy as much as we did and that resulted in peace of mind.
Luxx is great and so if Fetch! Pet Care.

I have two rescued pups, and since one of them is exceptionally skittish, they do not travel well. When I’m out of town, I usually leave them with my parents or have a friend stay over at my house, but this past April, I was getting married and all my friends and family were coming with me to our semi-​destination wedding in Monterey. Who was going to watch the pups for four whole days?
At first I tried looking at all the fancy pet hotels on the Westside, but they were all too expensive, especially for 2 dogs and 4 whole days. I was referred to Fetch, and since the quote was more than reasonable, I set up a meet-​and-​greet with my pups and our assigned sitter, Holly. I met Holly at her house, and the dogs took to her instantly. In no time at all, the dogs were sitting next to her on her couch, settling in like they were at home. Holly spent some time with the dogs, showed me where the dogs would sleep, assured me that my pups would get plenty of attention. She has a very calming aura about her, and I knew my skittish dog would feel comfortable in her presence. I left the meet-​and-​greet relieved and confident that my pups would be fine while I was out of town.
Each day I was away, I got text updates with lots of pictures. Every picture I received showed the pups lounging in the sun, or hanging out contentedly on Holly’s couch. I loved those pro-​active status updates! I didn’t worry the dogs for a single minute, and it was such a big help, especially since I had a wedding to worry about. When I picked them up, I even got a little report card on their behavior.
Holly and the team at Fetch made the entire process so easy and worry-​free. I will definitely be calling them again!

This is the first time I have used Fetch and they definitely didn’t disappoint!
I have 3 indoor kitties who hate staying anywhere overnight, let alone a week, in an unfamiliar place. So I decided to hire a local pet sitter like we used to back in Austin. Fetch was actually the first company I called and I am so glad I did.
I spoke with Laura and set everything up. She emailed my husband and I right away with all the details and who our pet sitter was. A day later Wanda, my pet sitter, contacted us to set up a time for the meet and greet. I met Wanda the very next day and introduced her to my fuzzy babies. Wanda is a kind and gentle soul and someone I trust impeccably with my kitties. Two of my cats are out going and curious while the third is shy with strangers. She was patient with the shy one, Chiana, and talked to her softly everyday she came over.
Wanda came over twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening. She fed them, scooped their litter, and played with them every visit. She also texted me updates and pictures to help put my mind at ease. She even went above and beyond and wiped down the kitchen counters as well as vacuumed around the litter boxes. Thank you Wanda, your a doll!
I will definitely be using their services next time we are out of town and we will most definitely request Wanda again.
I would recommend this pet sitting service to any of my family and friends.

I love Fetch. Full stop.
So, we have always had great care when out of town because Fetch was on the job. The cost for an in-​home sitter was comparable to boarding 2 dogs, and our pups got to be comfortable in their home environment. Due to scheduling conflicts, we’ve had three different Fetch sitters stay with our dogs, and each has seemed genuinely concerned with our pets well-​being. We were sent daily photos and updates, and always came home to relaxed and happy dogs.
Then. THROUGH NO FAULT OF FETCH, one of our dogs went missing while we were on vacation (a third party moved our dogs during the day when the sitter was not on duty and the dog escaped from that person’s yard). Regina went into overdrive. She immediately sent out a doggy «amber alert» and began search efforts while we were making our way home early from Europe. When we got back, Regina was at our home every day picking up fliers and helping us with every aspect of finding our dog. She got some of the Fetch sitters to volunteer as well – some who hadn’t even worked with our dogs. We got our baby back. I can’t thank Regina and the Fetch staff enough for going above and beyond when they had absolutely no obligation to do anything.
