Jocelyn is amazing! Everytime I see her, i feel like I’m going to see a friend who happens to be my esthetician. She is professional, sweet and so smart. Her skincare line that is unique to the spa has changed my face, the vitamin C serum is incredible. Her Brazilian waxes take 20 minutes and are pain free. I can’t wait to have a facial with her! I will never go anywhere else for waxing. Park at vons and walk over.

I’ve gone to so many estheticians for brazilian waxes in my life and Jocelyn is simply the best! Like many of her other clients, I discovered Jocelyn through LifeBooker and have since been loyal to her :)
The Phenix Salon Suites (where her studio is located) has metered parking on Broadway and 7^th. I’ve never had trouble finding a spot on 7^th, south of Broadway.
The ambiance in her suite is quaint, comforting, and clean — All things I expect in a great waxing place.
Jocelyn is just the sweetest! She has a very relaxed and calming aura, is super professional and extremely easy to chat it up with while she does her thing.
Her work is phenomenal — Fast, thorough and as painless as a brazilian wax could possibly be. In terms of pricing, it is beyond reasonable! For the level of customer service and attentiveness and quality of work, I would pay 3 times more than what she charges. In fact, I’ve paid upwards of $ 80 for honey waxing in the past, and the quality doesn’t even compare to Jocelyn’s standard.
I absolutely LOVE her and HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER!

Jocelyn is the most amazing waxer ever! I found her through Lifebooker over a year ago and I’ve used her ever since. The place is small but clean and sanitary (Also how much room do you need for a wax anyways). Jocelyn is so nice and always friendly and accommodating. It can be hard to book an appointment sometimes, but it’s a small price to pay for amazing service and an excellent wax! Plus it’s affordable too. So glad I found Jocelyn!

J is great. I have been going to her for six months now for brazilian waxes. She is excellent. I have gone to several «fancy» waxing places in West LA and J takes the cake. She has worked around my hectic schedule and been very accomodating. I love that I can just text her for an appointment. Her waxes are quick, very reasonably priced, and she is great company too. Highly recommended.

Found Jocelyn through a Lifebooker Brazilian wax deal and couldn’t have been happier. Jocelyn is very talented at what she does, super friendly (which when dealing with something like brazilian waxing is a must), and has a very accommodating schedule. The space is very clean and convenient right in Santa Monica. I have been to many waxers in about a 10 mile radius of here and she is by far the best I have found and refuse now to go elsewhere. I have not tried any of her other services but look forward to it!
My only hesitation of writing this review is because I am selfish and do not want too much competition when trying to get on her schedule! You will not regret setting up an appointment with her!

I purchased a three-​wax package from Lifebooker. The first time, I had a great experience. I’ve called, e-​mailed, filled out the form online, EVERYTHING to try to schedule my second two appointments. One time, she got back to me over a week later. The second time I tried to schedule, I never got any response at all. I eventually gave up and went to other salons.

I waited 3 weeks to post this review (1. Because I wanted to experience the full range of results from the treatment so that I could give a complete review and 2. Because I allowed my face to get badly suborned. Yes, like my whole face SMH) and all I have a three words to say: INTRACEUTICALS OXYGEN TREATMENT.
Now if you’ve read my previous post about Honeysuckle Skincare then you already know about the wonders of Jocelyn and her magical esthetician powers. Therefore, this review will focus solely on the actual treatment itself, the results I experienced, and the various reasons you can thank me later for after you’ve gone to Honeysuckle to experience this facial greatness for yourself.
So as far as my technical knowledge of facials goes, the claim of the Intraceuticals Oxygen Treatment is to rejuvenate the skin from the inside out by delivering oxygen deep down (maybe something like that?) pushing that youthful, supple glow that we all knew we naturally possessed to the surface. I went to their website to get more info but I can best describe the treatment as feeling something like the following:
1. The heaven-​sent mist (even though I always try to not think about where exactly the water is coming from) that graciously kisses your cheek as you stand in an hour long line with every loud-​talking, cussing, too-​young-​to be-​cuddled-​up teenager at Six Flags Magic Mountain.
2. The jolting, electric shock you get when it’s time to rinse your conditioner out with cold water to seal the follicle that takes you to a cool nirvana once you’ve survived the initial alarm of it all.
3. The feeling you imagine your dog must be feeling as his lips flap happily in the wind while he sticks his head out the window during a road trip.
4. The iciness of sucking air into your mouth as you chew a piece of mint gum.
5. The chilly relief you get from sticking your head into the freezer when your eyes begin to flood with the sting of chopping onions (learned this trick serving at Project Angel Food. You’re welcome)
Essentially, this is some good stuff. Unfortunately, I was still unsuccessful in preventing my husband from petting my just-​cleaned face as soon as I walked in the door but it was pretty darn soft. I believe Jocelyn said the effects of the treatment will last for several days, however, 3 weeks later, I’m still basking in the softness.
Again, I’m not facial expert but I do hold degrees from both Spelman College and UCLA and I’d say trying to compare a standard facial to the Intraceuticals Oxygen Treatment would be like trying to say the UCLA college experience is anything close to that of Spelman. You’re no fool.

Found this place through Lifebooker. I got a brazilian wax from Jocelyn and she is AMAZING. incredibly nice, makes you feel comfortable and does all she can to make it not hurt too much (but be prepared, it hurts!!). The space is clean and comfortable. I will definitely be going back here!

Jocelyn is great. A friend gave me a lifebooker gift card for my birthday so I made an appt for a brazillian wax. The appt was easy to make. Lifebooker had a bit of a mix up but she was able to fit me in and quite apologetic. I’ve had brazillian waxes before and this was the least painful out of all of them. She was friendly, he office was very neat and clean, and she made you feel comfortable. I would definitely book with her again. The building can be tricky as it’s a long corridor with rented space. Her room is just a waxing room.

I got a facial by Jocelyn yesterday after my skin had been breaking out for a while, and it was the most pleasant facial I’ve ever received. She really took the time to see what my skin needed, and gave me helpful tips to keep it clear. She explained the different tools she was using such as the microdermabrasion and blue light treatment, and they have really made a difference on my skin even after one day. She was super professional, knowledgeable and really just gives you an «I’m a great positive person» vibe which is really important in a relaxing environment. All her tools were state of the art, and she kept the place super clean and sanitized. I can’t wait to book my next appointment with her in a few weeks.

Jocelyn at Honeysuckle Skincare is fantastic! This was my first time and she was very calming and makes you feel completely at ease in an otherwise «uncomfortable» situation. The price is also amazing, I would highly recommend her to anyone who asked and I will be going back!

Found Honeysuckle through Lifebooker. I went through A LOT of waxing deals, and I am glad I finally found a place where I don’t have to look for something better. J is great! She’s so sweet and kind. Very easy to talk to while she is waxing you. The wax she uses is really good. I never get any ingrown hairs and she removes the hair correctly that it grows back so fine and fairly slow. It’s very easy to contact her to make more appointments.
If you see her within every 6 weeks, brazillian waxes are only $ 25!
The salon area is a little confusing at first. Sometimes there is a host at the front, and sometimes there isn’t. My first visit, I waited in the front until someone came to the front, but when someone did come by, they didn’t say anything. I had to poke my head into someone’s office and ask… then I realized everyone was separate. So just look for the honeysuckle sign. If the door is closed, wait by a nearby seat.

I found out about Honeysuckle Skincare through a Lifebooker deal and was delighted with the experience and results. Jocelyn is a lovely and skilled esthetician, and a very accommodating business owner! Last month I had to move my appointment within a couple hours from Sat. to Sun., and just now text her about a 6:30pm mid-​week appointment. No problems here — she is all about working with your schedule!
Jocelyn makes you feel comfortable and handles herself with the utmost professionalism. Her studio is very pleasant and comfortable as well. As for the waxing — she does a fantastic and thorough job and does everything in her power to make it as painless as possible.

Wonderful find! This was one of the easiest Brazilian waxes I have ever had… No odd positions, minimal tweezing, took less than 20 minutes, and perfect results. I’ll be back for more.

Jocelyn is amazing: in so many ways!
First of all, to find someone who is so willing to cater to her clientele and make appointments at early/​late appointment times is almost impossible to find. But Jocelyn practices the type of customer service and catering to your schedule that will leave you coming back.
The Brazilian wax itself is great. Jocelyn is efficient, meticulous, and precise. Her technique is great and she makes the appointment quick yet thorough.
We all know that getting a wax isn’t the most comfortable situation, but the ambiance of her quaint salon and her demeanor make the appointment great. Her conversation is genuine and she really wants to make sure that you’re comfortable.
All in all, she’s awesome and I’ll definitely be back.

for 3 waxes that was at a price that I could not say no to. So I went and LOVED HER WORK!
First off, she’s super sweet and nice lady. Second, very thorough and knowledgeable at what she does. Of course, getting waxed is never fun and you never say «Oh that feels good». But she does a great job at making you feel comfortable and as gentle as possible.
The space/​room that she uses is very clean and she plays cool fun music… I like that because it relaxes me. Her prices are very affordable too… not many places in Santa Monica are. I’ve done 2 waxes and have one more to go from my voucher. But I will definitely continue to go to her.
Because she’s very close to my home I usually walk there. But if I had to drive, parking can be limited (the one down fall). But then again, it’s Santa Monica people… where parking is limited in the whole city.

Seriously Jocelyn is AMAZING! This was my first time ever waxing and she helped me every step of the way. I talk a lot when im nervous but she just kept right up with me.
SPACE: super clean, nicely designed and simple. Located with a bunch of other beauty salons so you can get your hair done the same day. Nice music playing. Water bottle waiting for you in case youre thirsty.
PRICE: very affordable and worth every penny! She is amazing at what she does and she cares about you and your experience which is so worth it.
WAXING: Lets face it, its fricken painful but she does it quick and holds your hand and your skin (lol) the whole way through. Clean and not too hot.
JOCELYN: Just AWSOME… thats all there is to it! I couldnt ask for a kinder, gentler competent person.

Now I am a proud owner of a hairless kitty! Got a STEAL DEAL via lifebooker for 3 Brazilian wax for $ 50! I had to jump on it. They usually cost at least $ 40 per wax. So I made my appointment via text and Jocelyn got back to me with a time for my first appointment. On the way to my appointment, I got stuck in traffic and was a bit lost but I texted Jocelyn and she was extremely understanding. I got there about 20 minutes late. Eeek. She greeted me warm and friendly as she showed me into her room right away.
The room is very clean and relaxing with a typical professional set up. I told her that I had a few sessions of IPL in the past and I really didn’t have a lot down there to work with. She was sweet and talkative during the waxing and it made it less awkward. I will say it was the most thorough waxing I have ever experienced. I mean she really gets in there to get every hair. She has no problem using her hands to get to the hard to reach spots but she does it with grace. A great job! Warning: Brazilian wax is not for those who are shy or reserved!!! But if you want to get the job done and get it done well, go to Honeysuckle!
