Robert, Javier and Edgar are the best servicemen around for fixing any problems with Acura’s. They know their cars well and always get it fixed right the first time. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

This is the only place where I get my Acura serviced. Edgar always provides fantastic customer service. He’s the best!

Sounds like a big scam to me after they promoted VIP to everyone who purchased a new vehicle from them!

First off I truly swear by Acuras! I have continued to lease Acuras now for 6 years– amazing car, service, and comfort! The service department at this dealership is bar none. Everyone is friendly and polite, and do everything they can to make sure my experience is amazing. If the service will take a while, they’ll give you a shuttle service. Although they’re all great — my absolute favorite service advisor is Edgar. He’ll take great care of you! I’ve been going to this dealership for five years, and although I no longer live in Santa Monica — I keep going back for their impeccable service!

I love Acura of Santa Monica. I’ve been coming here for over 4 years. Edgar and Robert in service are the best! They take such good care of me every time I’m in for a service. They always go above and beyond to make sure my car is in tip top shape, and I’m happy too. I really appreciate that they remember me each time I come in. They’re genuinely interested in how I’m doing, and I feel like more than just a paying customer to them. Next time you’re due for a service, ask for either one of these guys and you’ll definitely be taken care of!

Cosme made my experience at Acura a very good one. He was very professional and its hard to find a dealer that is not out to get your money. My girlfriend took her 2014 Acura ISX there to have breaks replaced and he made sure she was not overcharged. He was also fast at getting her a rental because she was on her way to a job interview that same day. I would come back to Acura for sure for any servicing of my vehicle, but be sure to ask for Cosme.

I typically would not take the time to write a review of an auto dealership but the service at this dealership for term we have had this car has been expensive and not up to par.
We have owned Mercedes, Porsche, BMW and Lexus cars in the past and thought to try Acura as they were supposed to be competitive with the above. They, in fact, are not up to the same standard. You have to fight for a loaner vehicle for service but to me the worst part was in a simple key repair. Not a replacement as the key was not lost. It simply stopped working.
I was quoted almost 300 dollars to replace the key. The car was out of warranty which I understand but here is the rub. I was told that the key to purchase was 125 I believe and that the programming was an additional 175.
I went to Youtube and found a video to reprogram the key. I ordered a key via EBAY for around 20 dollars. Simply took the key portion out and followed the Youtube videos instructions. The programming process took literally 30 seconds.
The fact that I was told a machine was to be used and that the process took some time was an insult and a flat out lie. Because of this experience, we are likely leaving Acura.

I took my car for a recall service over there and they checked everything else for me for free. They are really fast and pro in what they are doing. they are also very nice. Robert and Edgar helped me out during my visit. Try to ask for them when you go there.

After being a loyal customer of Santa Monica Acura for 10 years, I’ve been very disappointed with the service now that it’s under new management of Hooman. Attitude from service attendants, very few loaner cars while car is getting repaired, 2 – 3 days to return a phone call, etc. This is not a service-​oriented dealership any longer. I strongly recommend that you go to another Acura dealership.

I was looking for a TRX for a while but couldn’t find a dealership that was reliable and trust worthy. A few of my friends had bought a car from Hooman Acura so thought why not give it a shot. When I arrived I test drove one of their TRX’s and immediately fell in love with the car!
I ended up purchasing the car that day and have loved the car more and more ever since. They really gave me a good customer experience and felt that they were very helpful and knowledgable of the cars. Thanks again!

I’ve been at the Hooman Acura location a lot lately. First I serviced my 2008 Acura. Robert in Services took good care of me. He alerted me that my extended warranty was ending at the end of the month and made sure every thing was in good condition.
Ultimately I decided to trade in my 2008, and get the new 2016 Acura MDX. They took my trade in, and I leased the new model there. As part of the deal we wanted to add some accessories, and we wanted manufacture accessories, not off market, because it was a lease. So then we worked with Alvin and team to order a roof rack, side runners and ski/​snowboard attachments. We got a great deal that ultimately saved us $ 850 dollars. The accessories look great, and of course the wash the car before you pick it up. The guys in service and parts are really awesome, I appreciate their customer service standards.

Had a deal to sell my 9 month old car to this dealership. Car was inspected, offer was made. I accepted the offer… Which was not great, but fair for both parties. There was talk about moving into an RLX from our TLX, but when we came in they tried to sell us an RDX. Called our contact to make an appointment to drop off the car. Never heard back. Finally had time to get to the place and the GM who made the deal is no longer here. Dealership’s new GM will no longer honor the deal. Their excuse: «we just bought a bunch of used cars.» Their other excuse: «our old GM was offering you too much.»
One star for the sales manager who brought my water bottle out to the car while I was writing this review.
So, if you’re keeping track… I’m not a fan.

Got my B1 service here today. I haven’t been back for many years since I tend to go to the Acura service shop in Torrance or Glendale over the past many years due to where I was living at the time. I actually like Torrance and Glendale a lot, so this Santa Monica site is my 2^nd time so far — I did have one issue in Glendale but they fixed it for free.
Anyway, at Hooman’s, service price for B1 is the same as at other Acura service shops and the work they did was expedient. The explanation (very important to me) of potential issues by Hooman’s service rep were clear just like Glendale’s and Torrance’s service reps and sets my expectation of what I will need replaced next time around. The waiting room had Starbucks automated coffee machine, doughnuts, and cable TV. Everything is good here.
In sum, there are some simple things I can do like replace a lightbulb or get premium tires at a shop to cut cost, but everything else, I wouldn’t hesitate going to an Acura service dealer like Hooman for the peace of mind. (I almost got myself killed for trying to do everything myself years ago so don’t be that fool)

Don’t waste your time trying to negotiate pricing on a used car from this place — what’s on the window/​autotrader is what you’ll pay. No negotiations.
On our first trip, the GM didn’t want to negotiate on a used MDX we were looking at so we left. GM came out and said to give them another chance before purchasing another vehicle so before we made our final decision, we brought a deal from another dealership over in hopes he would at least match it.
GM flat out said he’s not negotiating and basically asked us to take it or leave it.
Why ask us to give you another chance and refuse to negotiate? I would expect at least a good will counter-​offer since we drove 40 miles to give them another chance. Very bad taste in our mouth.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. They told me to come in for a free repaie of my headlight on my RDX because either is still under warranty, and gave me a free ride home.
Then, Edgar called me to tell me that it would cost me over $ 2,000 to replace my headlight because the headlight appeared to have been tampered with. I have never tampered with the vehicle, it has never been involved in any accident, there is a common issue with these cars getting moisture inside the headlight housing and they are refusing to acknowledge it. Instead of doing the right thing and fixing it under warranty, or at least doing the work at a reasonable price, they told me if I don’t want it that’s fine but I will need to find my own ride there to pick up my car! Now I have to pay a taxi because these *expletive*s are holding my car hostage. Since I don’t want to pay the ridiculous $ 2,000 fee to replace a headlight, Edgar has refused to offer me a courtesy shuttle as originally promised. I can’t believe how terrible this place is.
Its my first an draft time here. From now on, I will continue to have my car serviced at Culver City Honda! Much better service, skip the traffic, and no shady service people!!!

I had shopped around and gotten estimates at a couple Honda dealerships go get a bumper paint job done. I picked AW Collision because Jack, the estimator onsite here, was friendly, efficient and gave me a fair estimate. Also AW stands behind their paint job, lifetime warranty. Of course, if you scratched your car, don’t try to abuse the system — duh! Will write up a separate review for AW Collision once I get my car back.
Called in to set a 1-​hr window appointment to drop off my car today. Showed up and Jack took care of the paperwork to check in my car. He even helped track down a driver to get me a ride home. The one shuttle driver left at the end of the day was on his lunch break 4−5pm while I was there. They have a nice customer waiting room and I enjoyed a vanilla latte or two while waiting ~25mins for the backup driver, Nelson. This dealership offers complimentary customer drop-​off but no pick-​up.
