5 stars all the way. James never looses count on my reps, he always pushes me, always makes sure my form is correct. Honestly he should get 6 stars!

James kicked my butt… in a good way! He’s a nice guy but he’ll push you to do one more rep! I’m not the biggest fan of the gym but James made me feel very comfortable and encouraged. I learned all about some of my posture issues and excercises I can do to correct them! Great trainer, great experience!

I’ve never enjoyed going to the gym or working out, but after training with James I’m actually excited to show up at Equinox for our training sessions. I’m in the best shape of my life, my girlfriend keeps telling me how sexy I look, and I’m surfing better than I ever have. James is probably the most friendly and sincere ‘intense’ person I know. He’s super encouraging and is always hyping me up and encouraging me to do one more rep. He’s super knowledgeable too(sometimes a little too knowledgeable!). If I want to know the specific muscle(the interior delphis latsis whatsis) he’ll tell me but most of the time I just say, «James I want my legs to be more stronger» or something. I feel like he knows 300 variations of sit-ups and sometimes I leave noodled but I couldn’t be more thrilled with how great of shape I’m in. Thank you James. Easily the most knowledgeable and professional amongst all the trainers I’ve seen at Equinox.
