Wow! Charity is amazing!!! She is so sweet & professional and her work is impeccable! I’ve had synthetic eyelash extensions before and these were my first mink — they looked amazing, felt great and lasted FOREVER!!! If you are considering eyelash extensions, Charity is your girl! I’m going to try her other service next… microblading my eyebrows!

I have had the pleasure of being a client for over a year now, and it’s about time to let the cat out of the bag: Charity is a ninja master when it comes to lash extensions. Seriously, if they had black belts for lash extensions, she could teach the class. She excellently places every lash and patiently explains care, upkeep, and anything else you want to know. Both Charity and her studio are lovely and welcoming. I’m usually full of critiques, but for once I’m at a total loss.

When getting eye lash extensions, there are so many factors to consider. This is my checklist of things I look for: the quality of the product, the skill level of the technician, the location, the atmosphere, ease of scheduling for follow ups, the health of your own natural lashes and how they are compromised, how the extensions look and feel, and of course, the price. I mean… lashes are expensive, so I better get at least most of those things.
Unfortunately, in this industry, you have to pay to try. And after years of spending loads of money and continually being disappointed by different locations for various reasons, I almost gave up. They were destroying my own natural lashes, and I was convinced the lash industry didn’t have a place that existed that met my requirements. Until… CHARITY!!!
Omg, SHE’S AMAZING! Her reviews convinced me to try one more time (Honestly, I was a little intimidated to call at first because I was convinced she was slammed packed with celebrity clients from looking at her Unilocal). I called her up, left a message, and she called me back to answer my questions… WHILE ON VACATION IN HAWAII! Who does that?. Already, above-​and-​beyond customer service for little oI’ me?
I booked an appointment for the Monday after she got back… And I’m SOOO happy I did. Everything on my checklist (and more) passed with flying colors. It’s been about a couple weeks since my last appointment and I’m still as ecstatic to see my own reflection — Yes, you’ll catch me batting my own lashes at myself in public places!
Oh, and the icing on the cake? … She’s REEEEALLY nice! She has such a welcoming and great personality. She makes you feel so comfortable. This is very important for someone who will be hanging out on your face for the next hour or so… Lol! Anyway, I already can’t wait for my next appointment for even fuller and healthier lashes. I’m so happy I found Charity.

Charity has completely changed my life just by changing my eyes! I have been a loyal customer for almost a year now, and if you could have seen my face before you wouldn’t even recognize me now. My lashes are strong, healthy, and full even though I am consistent in getting my fills, and my eyebrows are finally thick and beautifully shaped after years of over waxing and over plucking. Charity truly cares about the health of your lashes and overall wellbeing– her tips are as beneficial as her talent! I get compliments almost daily on my lashes and my brows, but more importantly my confidence has been boosted and I am so proud of how far Charity has brought my face! My fiancé was considering a move further down the coast, but I put a stop to that after entertaining the thought of not having Charity in my life! She honestly should only be doing A list celebrities and royalty, but I am so glad she takes normal peons like myself, and gives me lashes and brows on par with (and I would argue better than) the top stars and models of our time. She is a miracle worker, an artist, and a friend, and so long as she does brows and lashes she will always be in my life!
Charity is a perfectionist, as am I, and I research for weeks and sometimes years until I find «the best» (hair stylist, personal trainer, cup of coffee, etc… it’s an OCD trait I’m sure!). And she has truly proven to be the best. I LOVE being able to head to work without make up but still looking and feeling fabulous. What I also admire and appreciate about her is her honesty when it comes to what looks best on your face– what looks good on someone else might not look as good on you, and she will never lead you astray. I have selfishly been hesitant to write this review because I don’t want her to get too busy and have no time for me! I could go on and on about her, but all you have to do is go once and you’ll see what all the hype is about– if you have been searching for the best of the best, you can stop now, Charity will never let you down.

Charity really is: as good as it gets! I’d give her even more stars if I could.
I had worn lash extensions for a couple years before coming to her. Now my lashes not only look great — but they are actually HEALTHY too. I like mine to look natural, not heavy — and they always do.
She’s extremely professional: always on time and her studio is very clean, and her energy is always pleasant. She is also FAST — but without sacrificing technique. My lashes are comfortable, look gorgeous and last for 3 weeks. My eyebrows are also healthy, and no longer over tweezed thanks to Charity. I’m devoted to her — forever! She also is so knowledgable about skincare and wellness — if you ask her, she has amazing tips to share.

I’ve been going to Charity now for a little over a year and cannot ever see myself stopping. I’m OBSESSED with my lashes AND her. She does the absolute best lash extensions I’ve seen. You’re definitely getting what you pay for. It’s so so worth it. Not only does Charity make my lashes perfect but she is the sweetest! She cares just as much as I do about my lashes and it shows in the quality.
Charity formulated her own miraculous eyebrow oil and it is seriously the best cosmetic product I’ve ever bought. I call it her miraculous oil because my eyebrows have grown dramatically. It’s crazy good stuff and I would recommend it to any girl who wants more of a brow.
She also offers beautiful eyebrow extensions if you want a fuller brow.
Overall her work is phenomenon and she is amazing! LOVELOVELOVE MASHERLASH!

There are not enough stars for Charity! Before I was introduced to her, I had been getting lashes done locally for about 3 months. I hadn’t done my research the first time I had lash extensions done and ended up in so much pain and lash bald. I went on a mission to find the absolute best lash technician in Santa Monica where I located Master Lash right by my home in SM. Charity immediately made me feel comfortable on the phone when I booked the appointment, and when I showed up for the first time, she welcomed me into her relaxing, warm, chic, and very friendly environment. She saw how badly my lashes were left and I could immediately tell how much compassion she had for fixing my natural lashes, still putting on a new set, and making me feel like I had hope to grow back my real lashes. I felt so good when I left that day, which has started a routine of seeing Charity’s beautiful smiling face once a month for a year now.
Charity has a few options for lashes and although she always does what you request to a T, she graciously suggests options to consider which she thinks will work for your lash strength/​eyes and face. I highly recommend listening to any suggestions because Charity really knows what she’s doing. I like to work out in the mornings but schedule my yoga or non-​sweat classes the morning after visiting so the lashes will last their full 3 – 4 weeks. (No water for 24 hours girl!!) When the lashes start to fall off as they naturally do, I wasn’t left with the crooked, tangled, deformed looking lashes I used to have or those horror story photos online! The application Charity uses allows for you to keep full lashes for the duration of your 3 — 4 weeks.
My favorite thing about Charity’s lash extensions is that I never have to put on much makeup. I wake up early for the gym, throw a little under eye cream and I look like prom queen! ha — ha, you know what I mean. It’s so nice to be on a beach vacation, or that 6 am spin class, or waking up with your hunny, feeling natural and beautiful. It really is such a simple way to add ease to your beauty routine.
Another great thing about Charity is that she is always on time. If you are late to her appointment, she will have you reschedule. She honors her client’s time and shows value in her time as well as ours. That is a rare find!
I would be lost without this woman! In more ways than a lash technician. Charity makes me feel like a friend when I’m in her room. What more could you want ladies!

FIVE STARS! CHARITY IS AMAZING! I had never had lash extensions before meeting Charity. I was a little nervous because I’m not someone who wears a lot of makeup and I generally don’t make a big fuss about my appearance — and I’m most afraid of my face not looking as natural as possible. But after seeing people I know (who don’t live in the area) looking so beautiful (without makeup on) with their lash extensions I knew I wanted to give them a try. After reading excellent online reviews about Master Lash by Charity, I made my first appointment more than a year ago — and I’ve been addicted ever since! I haven’t worn mascara in more than a year and am complimented daily on how great my lashes look. Charity is an artist — not to mention professional, personable and compassionate. I can’t recommend her highly enough!

Charity is the best! She’s done two sets of lashes for me and I’m already addicted. They look amazing and lasted a long time (it was 4+ weeks before I had a fill and there were still quite a few left). Plus Charity is super sweet and very responsive, I had no trouble booking. I’ve had lashes in the past; I bought deals through Groupon. There’s a huge difference in quality and longevity. You definitely get what you pay for.

I came to charity in hope that she would be able to help, The lash place I normally go to moved and so I’ve been trying everywhere LA lash, Got lash, and a few other places surrounding the BH and SM Area, I have yet to find a tech as good as charity. I was in pain and very upset to find that my lashes had been so tortured after she was able to remove what was previously applied by other techs my first visit. She then managed to work with the beat up naturals I had remaining, somehow she was able to give me a full set again and it was very gorgeous and I left extremely impressed and that’s why I will continue to use her work skills. The price isn’t bad at all for professional work, Get someone who knows what there doing.
Her cute Pomeranian is just a plus. Five stars, highly recommended.

Charity is the best of the best. You can tell almost as soon as you meet her that she really puts her heart and soul into her work. She won’t let you leave until she’s happy with each and every lash and she still manages to do a complete set (to perfection by the by because she’s seriously an expert) in close to an hour.
Just a tip, if she makes a recommendation about which lashes would look best on you, take it. I was a bit persistent about the size I used to get when I first started going to her, and finally she talked me down, and I’m in love with my lashes. I love waking up with eyelashes and just having to put some powder and bronzer on before heading out the door, and all I use is a touch of eyeshadow when I go out at night.
I’ve been getting eyelash extensions for years and I’ve never gotten so many compliments as I have since I started going to her. Annnnd I don’t know how it happened — though I definitely credit Charity — but I’m finally in a refill routine where I no longer go through those awkward few weeks of having way more lashes on one eye than the other or just a few super long eyelashes left on both. It’s great — I literally have not had to touch mascara since since I started going to her.
I highly recommend her to anyone and everyone!

If you are considering lash extensions, you’ll want to fully trust the person who is handling such a delicate area around your eyes and she takes great care of the health of your lashes. Her professionalism, dedication to the craft, and expertise in this field has made me her committed lash extension client, and now I enjoy other services she provides.
I initially began my first set of lashes for a photo shoot and continued to wear them, as I don’t care to wear make-​up on a regular basis and with these lashes I can can wake up feeling ready to go. I enjoy a more natural looking and feeling lash, so I wear the mink lash and these get compliments regularly all because of Charity’s artistry.

Charity is AMAZING. She’s beautiful, sweet, so accommodating, and makes you feel completely at ease. You should 100% trust her recommendation. All I had to do was walk in, have her look at my lashes (which were sparse and broken from the other lash place I’ve been frequenting), and she took it from there. She’s so honest, and not only wants to make your lashes beautiful, but wants to keep your lashes healthy in the process.

Charity is super knowledgeable, professional and personable. She was great about making sure we both knew the look I wanted, which was quickly established by looking at the tons of example pictures she had on hand. The application was super comfortable and felt so fast, and the best part is, my lashes are GORGEOUS. It DOES matter who does your extensions-​this isn’t something just anyone can get right (and they often don’t!) I’d recommend charity to anyone and everyone that wants top of the like lash applications. She’s the best I’ve been to by far!

I cannot say enough good things about Charity! I am very very picky about who does my lashes. My last girl moved to Vegas and it took me OVER A YEAR to find Charity. The first time I saw her she had to fix a bad lash job that ruined my lashes. She assured me that she would help me get them back to their full glory and I walked out of there with a beautiful set. Fast forward six months and she was right! Her work is so good/​gentle that not only are my lashes healthy again, they are longer than they were before. She really listens to what you want and is so easy to be around. I don’t wear makeup and people (including guys) stop me on the street to compliment my lashes. Woot! So glad I found her!

I was searching long and hard for a lash extension spot that would make my lashes look stunning naturally for my wedding day! after going through almost 50 shops and endless photos i finally came across master lash by charity and knew that i had to have her do my lashes for this very special day. i scheduled my appointment and quickly received a phone call from her personally to get to know me and what i wanted for this day. i originally planned on having my lashes placed on friday before the wedding but she quickly, and without hesitation, let it be known that it would not be the smartest idea to trial first time extensions the day before my wedding. she advised that i come in at least 2 – 3 days in advance to make sure i didn’t have an allergic reaction to the product, and to also make sure that the lashes were perfect and what i wanted exactly…
she squeezes me into her hectic schedule and i go see this beautiful last magician named charity!
instantaneously i was impressed with her cleanliness and chic studio area, and not to mention i also fell in love with her puppy.
charity explains exactly what she will be doing, and making sure we were on the same page with the lashes she will be using. i was going for the fuller and natural lash look… and without a doubt… she went above and beyond. my lashes are AMAZING!!! and i have gotten so many compliments about how natural they look! and not to mention! i don’t even notice that they are there! this might just be my new addiction! even my makeup artist was obsessed! look out ms. charity! you might have more clients on the way! might be heavy on the pocket but TOTALLY WORTH IT!

I went to Charity for the first time last week, after reading all the amazing 5 star reviews on Unilocal,and was very happy with my experience! Charity was so nice and extremely accommodating.
I’ve been getting my lashes done for over a year in the SouthBay (lived in Hermosa Beach previously), and have been meaning to find a new lash expert in Santa Monica. She squeezed me in last minute when I was in desperate need of a fill. Although, I had to get a new set (as it was my first time with Charity), it was well worth it.
Charity has been doing this for over a decade. It’s an understatement to say she’s the EXPERT at lashes. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my lashes and have already booked my next appointment with her!

I was really hesitant about getting lash extensions with all the horror stories out there but after meeting Charity I never looked back! I never thought I’d see the day when I didn’t need mascara.
