Established in 1980.

We proudly provide quality dental care to the community of Santa Monica, CA and surrounding areas. Our services include but are not limited to general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, orthodontics (Invisalign), hygiene, home whitening system, Britesmile Whitening system, Zoom II (Extreme Makeover Whitening system), and much more.

We are a CAD CAM office that can make you crowns in the same day, and mill crowns in less than 10 minutes on the premises. We also offer reconstructive surgery, esthetic dentistry with our 30 years of experience. I am also a Certified Cerec provider (crowns can be done in 2 – 3 hours). Hi Everybody!

My name is Konni, I’m the office manager at Dr. Yee’s office. Here at Dr. Yee’s office, we proudly provide gentle dental care and more. We take pride providing our patients with the latest in dental technology and focusing on both the long-term health of your teeth, along with creating a long-term relationship with our patients.

Some of our employees and hygienists have been here over 30 years! As a result, we have had the opportunity to grow with our patients and sometimes even grow with their children!

From simple teeth whitening to more complex bridges, and from extractions to orthodontics, we can help you get that confident, healthy smile you’ve always wanted. We are also proudly Santa Monica’s preferred Invisalign provider!

I have to say. I hate the dentist. All of the needle sticking and drilling. But Dr. Yee’s dental office made me feel right at home. I came into a cheerful atmosphere that by the way helps out when your not looking forward to getting your teeth drilled. Carol was super professional as she always has been. Jenifer and Konnie greeted me with a smile as soon as I walked in. All in all, a fun place while keeping the professionalism!!! Thanks Dr yee!!!

Would have been a five star review… if not for some odd behavior.
PROS:
Professional office staff
Intelligent dentist
Fancy technology
Less likely to jump the gun on invasive procedures
Appointment schedule pretty open, can usually get next day etc
CONS:
Out-of network (basic cleaning 2x regular rate)
Occasional long waits if you go midday, but not egregious
Dr Yee herself made a big deal out of not wanting to honor a small discount… that her own office had offered to local employees. Really don’t know what to make of over-emotionality in professionals. but I already had an in-network person all lined up.

Wish I could give them 0 stars. I had just moved into town so I came here for cleaning because it was near my apt and I had walked by several times. I let them know I only wanted to do X-rays OR pictures not both because I wasn’t able to spend that much at the time. When Dr. yee came in for the exam she said she needed a picture and took it. I again let her know I couldn’t pay for both. When I got to the desk the bill had both on and I tried to argue it but the said well she needed the picture. I ended up losing that battle. They went ahead and scheduled me 6 months out as all dentists do. In the meantime I had chipped a tooth and found a new dentist who was recommended by a friend. When they called to remind me of my 6 mo appt which by that time I forgot about, I told them I had found a new dentist. Fast forward to 7 months later I get a bill from a collections agency telling me I owed $ 100 for a missed appt. no Phone calls in between. I had moved so if they sent anything I didn’t receive it, fair enough — but no phone calls before sending it to collections?! So I called the office to try to understand why I owed them this money and why I am just finding out about it now… and they just stuck to their guns that they tried to call, that I had missed my appt and had to pay. I of course paid the measly $ 100 to never have to deal with them again, but wow. Worst customer service I have ever received from any dr office… ever. Bottom line they don’t care about people they care about Dr. Yee filling her pockets with money. I even told them I was writing a Unilocal review and they couldn’t have cared less. I work in the hospitality industry and I hold myself to the morale of trying to understand the customer and making things right for the sake of the business. Guess Dr. Yee cares more about her money than her reputation.

I had a few issues with a wisdom tooth extraction. Dr Yee called me personally to resolve the issue. She promised that she and her staff would make changes to address further issues like mine. I am satisfied with her response to my issues.

Long ago she was my dentist. One monday morning I waited for 1? 2? 2.5? hours. When I asked what was the problem she shrugged it off with ‘monday mornings have lots of dental emergencies’. duhhhhhh. THEN DONT BOOK ANYONE TILL NOON.

Dr. Yee and her team are among the very best dentist/surgeons in, at least, Southern California, if not the entire world. She is extraordinarily knowledgeable, careful and thoughtful. Her work is strong and beautiful and of far higher quality than any other dentist I’ve ever been to.
I only wish that I’d found out about Dr. Yee long ago. She is the first dentist that I’ve been able to trust completely, and I don’t think that there is anything that she and Dr. Kim can’t do. They are extraordinary, and I’m so grateful to have found them.
It may be kind of a funny thing to say, but I appreciate Dr. Yee and her team so much that I hope that she gets only patients that are as wonderful as she is. She’s a rare gem of a dentist.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Yee for years — she’s a kind person and competent. Unlike other dentists I’ve used in Santa Monica, she doesn’t perform procedures unless they are necessary. Her staff is helpful and friendly and her hygienists are super. Carol does such a good job that you’ll probably have less cavities. My wife uses Janet and she is gentle and nice. Dr. Yee also does a lot for the community. My family and friends have starting using her too because she’s such a great dentist. Try her, you’ll have a dentist for life.

I’ve gone to Dr. Yee only once as a recommendation from my old boss. She extracted two of my wisdoms, because my regular dentist was not able to do it at the time. I felt really comfortable at her office, though. She and her staff were very polite and warm. They even called in my perscription for me after the procedure. I would have gone back to her for cleanings and such (since it was close to my then-work), but I stayed loyal to my long-time dentist.
