Tina rocks full stop!!!
I found Tina through a friend yrs ago and have never looked back. Best haircuts I have ever had and that is the truth. Tina plays the music I like and helps me out with my love life haha.
Tina is not just my stylist but now my friend:) I highly recommend Tima, she will not disappoint because she listens and cares.
If I could give 10 stars I would!

I had my hair cut by Tina/​Valentina and had a great experience. She took time to listen to me and even went the extra mile plucking stray gray hairs as she worked (which I totally appreciated). The salon is in a set of one room studios so you get a private space with all the salon amenities. Next time I’ll make sure my hair is showing it’s natural wave when I go in and let Tina have more freedom to bring out the wave more.

I walked in to this studio recently and got an amazing haircut! Tina rocks!!! I would definitely recommend her to any man, woman or child for a cut or color.

So I took a risk and walked into Broadway Hair and was styled by TIna… I was a little nervous but needed a haircut bad and visiting from out of town. The risk paid off. Not only did she do a great job but was really reasonable. The same haircut costs me $ 90 at my normal spot Cut in NYC. Will be coming back next time I need a cut on the westside.

During a visit to LA I took a chance on Tina after reading the stellar reviews on Unilocal. They are right. She is an excellent stylist and creates a feeling of trust with her knowledge. I wanted to try something totally new with a much shorter cut and her advice and skills were excellent. I recommend her highly and am only sorry I don’t live in LA to see her more often.

I’ve been going to Tina’s hair salon for about 4 months. Usually I don’t write Unilocal reviews, but she deserves a good one, so here it is! Always chill, always happy with my hair. She even told me how to make sure it’s looking good for next couple of weeks showing me how to style it myself properly. Awesome!

I saw many different stylist before and I was never happy. When I found Tina I got so many compliments and my hair always grew out very nicely. I recommended a lot of my friends to her and they all always happy as well. Only Tina can touch my hair. She is the best. I totally recommend her!

I’ve been seeing Tina for almost a two years now and there’s good reason why I keep coming back. She consistently provides great cuts and never fails to impress me. She will work with whatever description you give and style your hair appropriately. One key thing that separates her from other barbers/​stylists is the amount of TRUST i have in her.
Tina is almost surgical in her work with the amount of fine detail to get everything just right. She’s probably one of the chillest stylists too. Good laid-​back atmosphere and good music.
I highly recommend Tina if you are looking for a new stylist; you won’t be disappointed.

My fiancée and I have been going to Tina for over 7 years! She does an awesome job with boys guys and gals. She also keeps a casual atmosphere, and like the other reviewers say, she is «no bs». She takes pride in her work and isn’t afraid to suggest doing something new or different if she thinks it will look better. I trust her with my hair 100%, and I like that she takes her time and does it right.
One thing that Tina is really good at is cutting the hair in a way such that as it gets longer, it still looks really good. So if sometimes I’ll procrastinate on coming back in, it still looks great.
Hopefully I’ll never have to leave LA, but if I do, I will have try to figure out a way to take Tina with me.

Was referred to Tina Lim by my aunt & cousin who have been raving about her for years. Called asking A$AP & she made it happen in the same day! This is the best my hair has ever looked, felt & smelled! All hail Tina Lim!

Tina Lim is so good that I used to drive from Echo Park to Santa Monica to get my hair cut. Should the review even go on? Doesn’t that say it all?
I met Tina through my sister who was a receptionist at a high end salon that they both worked at in Santa Monica. I immediately liked her «no bullshit» personality. Shortly after meeting, she stared at my jewfro with dead eyes and asked, «who cuts your hair? It looks terrible». She was right. I regularly had gone to terrible chains to get a cheap haircut. Once she cut my hair, I was hooked. I haven’t seen anyone else since that day four years ago!
She is so talented– truly, the girl knows what she is doing. And not just the cut! One time I had to bleach my hair and she made it look amazing!
If you let her cut your hair, you will immediately get positive feedback. No one ever said they liked my haircut before, but after I started going to Tina’s– people would come up to me and ask «who cuts your hair?» like some freaking commercial!
But more than the haircut– she is just a fun, hilarious person to hang out with. We always have a good laugh and an interesting conversation. And she will usually have a diet dr pepper waiting for me. Sometimes I’ll even her bug her for food (yes– I’m the worst). And she will hook me up with stale Apple Jacks!
If you read any of these comments its obvious she’s the best. See for yourself!

Tina is AMAZING! She has been doing my hair for years. She ALWAYS does a fantastic job. It’s not hard to figure out that she is a hair master :)
