Pacific Park

This is about 380 Pacific Park, Santa Monica, CA, Santa Monica pier. I went to the Funnel Cake a factory at 380 Santa Monica place at the pier. I, my self from Los Angeles was alone though wasn't because the peeping toms from Los Angeles that can't stay away were there again as psychotic trash. I've been coming to this place many years, continually, harassed by wannabes. I went to the the counter and was harassed by Sarah, Julie around 1pm 7/2022. They were peeping toms, that were unprofessional, in LA that can't stay away and out of people's bedrooms, bathrooms. You, read correct. These facts are true. I literally , was harassed by Los Angeles peeping toms, that have attachment problems, that can't keep proper distance. They need to stay away.

The customer of the ticketing are really rude. I have purchased the year pass for my kid. They could not print that day because the printer was broken. I said okay, it’s nobody’s fault. So they gave me the day pass that day, and I was told can pick up the year pass next time. I wasn’t worry at all. Later I went to pick up the year pass, I was wait in the line for 20mins first, and showed them $ 149 bill from my bank. No one can find the record in there system about another 40mins:(and been told need to wait by the side for another unknow time:(and later supervisor came gave me an attitude of their problem:(seriously, we were so happy to have fun on a school day off. They really let us down:(

It’s a nice little park in the pier. There aren’t a lot of adult rides compared to Santa Cruz’. They are mostly kiddie rides. The surrounding businesses are definitely worth more of a visit. If you have little kids, then it’ll be great to try the rides.

A very memorable experience! the unlimited ride wristband was totally worth it. stayed here for almost 5 hours! didn’t see that coming. the kids savor every moment. experienced every rides again and again. as for me and the wife. watching the kids having so much fun is good enough for the both of us… ok… ok… ok… I admit it… carnival ride hates me so I hate them too. =P

A very popular yet crowded park with a few small rides. You gain a lot fun here and it’s packed.

This place was awesome for my nephews 14^th bday. Unlimited rides for him and his 2 cousins. Freedom to come and go as he please. It’s great for kids and preteens. Just make sure to check Groupon for discounted unlimited wristbands. I paid $ 15 for one and now they have a special advertising $ 13 for one.
I also went to 99cent store and got them allot of snacks. Food on the Santa Monica pier can be expensive.

I love coming here!!! There’s so much to do. From snacking to riding the west rollercoaster to arcades! Plus I love to eat at Bubba Gumps!!! My daughter enjoys coming here as well shopping at the small vendors throughout the pier is fun! The shopping mall isn’t far either. It’s even better during summer nights. Great for a date, stroll down the beach! I come here all the time I don’t think I’ve been u satisfied once. Parking isn’t bad either unless it’s a holiday or something. PS they have day wristbands for the rides at a pretty good price!

Roller coaster and Ferris Wheel. Yes yes yes!
What could be better than a relaxing day at Santa Monica beach? Why, stumbling onto a roller coaster, of course! My friend and I visited the amusement park after longingly staring at the rides from the beach and said, «why not?!»
Two $ 8 tickets later, we were in line waiting for the rides.
We waited extra long to get the first seat on the roller coaster, which was WELL worth the wait. It looks puny from afar, but it’s so fun. You get 2 go’s for $ 8.
The Ferris Wheel was fun, too… super relaxing. The positioning (angle) of the wheel affords perfect views of the sunset, Santa Monica Mountains, Malibu, and Santa Monica Beach all the way to RPV. My only regret is that we didn’t go right at sunset. I bet the views would be heavenly.
Cons: the place can be crowded especially on summer weekends, and there’s a dearth of healthy food.

I’m the father of a three-​year old girl.
We go to Pacific Park together once every two weeks — even when she’s not in the mood.
I tell her she’ll love it when she gets there.
I only go on the rides to keep her company. I do NOT secretly enjoy them. I do NOT secretly re-​live my youth. I do NOT secretly have an absolute whale of a time. I do it just for her. Because I’m a brilliant father, See?
We usually do The Scrambler once (that’s more than enough), the Ferris Wheel twice and the Frog Hopper eight or nine times.
It’s absolutely fantastic!!!. .. wait. .. I mean, it’s OK, I guess. (I do it just for her).
Anyway, if you live in LA and you think, perhaps, you might go visit several times a year, then it’s probably a good idea to invest in the $ 99 annual pass, which gives you FREE EVERYTHING!!! — yay!!!
And then, if you have any cash left over, maybe you could buy a ticket for your three-​year old daughter too…

No wait. I mean. .. . wait!
(It’s a terrific place — and the people who work there are just wonderful. The arcade and some of the game stalls are a little over-​priced (I once spent $ 8 and won an elastic band — no kidding), but apart from that it’s a great place to take the kids. Don’t forget to catch a ride on the beautiful vintage carousel down at the promenade end of the pier, and your day will be complete. Whatever you do, try NOT to be at the top of the Ferris Wheel when the big earthquake strikes. Oh, and take a hat and lots of suncream. Go Go Go!).

Fun place for young children who don’t mind going on the same rides over and over. My brother-​in-​law and I brought our 5 year-​old and 3 year-​old for a few hours on a weekday afternoon. We bought unlimited ride passes for all of us and barely had to wait in line for everything. We went on the Ferris Wheel three times; the view from the top is spectacular (but maybe not worth $ 8/​person if you buy individual tickets). There were only a few rides that the kids weren’t tall enough for, like the roller coaster.
If you get hungry, you can get ice cream and funnel cake right near the entrance. Gets pretty sunny and warm, so bring your hats, sunscreen, and water for the little ones.

My friend decided to celebrate his birthday at Pacific Park near the ocean. The price is awesome, only $ 16.00 to go on all the rides all day.
Awesome place for a celebration, good food, lots of sun, good friends and great food.

It’s so easy to have fun at Pacific Park. It is probably my favorite thing about the SMP.
It’s open pretty late and that gives the perfect opportunity to ride the ferris wheel with that special someone and look out over the ocean either at sunset or when the sky is black. It’s really a beautiful thing to be able to do.
My favorite rides are the roller coaster, the drop, and the dragon boat. I don’t like the octopus one as much because it really throws you around with whoever you’re sitting next to.
If you’re going to ride more than 2 things, I’d recommend getting a pass for the day. Each ride is around 8 dollars.
Gets really packed on the weekend with lots of babies? Who brings a baby to Pacific Park? There is a kid section with the same rides just mini-​scale, but I think it’s more kid friendly than baby friendly!
Also these bathrooms over here at the Pacific Park are a hidden gem on the pier. Compared to the other bathrooms they are so clean. Don’t tell anyone I told you my secret!

Not liking Pacific Park and Santa Monica Park is like not liking Americana. The creation of amusement piers in the late 1800’s was the realization that the average American needed a fun place to take the family and share a lot of urban recreational experiences.
The Park has a little bit of something for everyone. The food will not win any awards, but it is «beach food» designed for fast eating. The gift shops sell what you can’t get on Third Avenue — silly inexpensive stuff to give to your friends and relatives to show you did go to the SM Pier.
Although there are tourists from around the world there are plenty of Californians. The Park and Pier are wonderful places to people watch in a very diverse setting.

Had an amazing time at the pier and truly enjoyed having my parents go on the Ferris wheel. I remember when they used to take us and give us money to play games and go on rides. It was our turn this time and my parents were surprised at how much fun they had. So glad I got to watch them enjoy and all for just $ 16 bucks.

I always come here when I want to go somewhere fun and not too expensive. I usually come on weekdays, because on the weekends it is super packed. I went on Tuesday and it was like a Saturday. I guess everyone is in summer vacation because there was a lot of people. I was a little disappointed to see so much people, but it wasn’t bad at all! It was actually really fun to see so much people enjoy the day. We got there around 2:00 p. m and we went straight for the rides. We got the all day unlimited ride pass. There are not too many rides, but if you enjoy riding them over and over again it’s worth it. If you pay by ride it is either $ 6 or $ 8. If you get the pass it’s $ 30. The prices online state:

I went on the Ferris wheel twice, on the dragon ride about four times, the west coaster about 4 times and this other ride that goes around in circles twice. My sisters went on more times than me. I took a break and went to the arcade. We ended up leaving at about 8:00 p. m and the park was still open. My husband didn’t enjoy the rides as much, but he loved the carnival games. He kept trying to win me something, but he kept loosing haha. Either way I saw he had fun with those games and he really enjoyed the fact that there was a lot of people you could play against. It is a very nice experience and I do recommend Pacific Park for a romantic outing or for family fun.

The park is ok. They have many fun games and activities. There are rides, including the iconic Pacific Wheel and the West Coaster. The wheel is your standard Ferris wheel experience, and it is great experiencing at nighttime as you get a good view of the city of Santa Monica. The coaster is ok, but it is not Six Flags status.
The food here… do NOT eat here. This is what sucks about this place. It is seriously overpriced and lacking in quality. I know, I did inspections behind the scenes. The only place I recommend going to is the Coffee Bean, and even that place is overpriced. There are plenty of good food options in Santa Monica, eat there and come here for the attractions only.
The patrons hail from far and wide. I’ve met people from just about every continent and every corner of the world. You will truly meet a wide variety of people here, so that is an added plus of coming here.
Daytime brings a lot of foot traffic, especially on the weekends. The park is not open too late at night, and guarded overnight. Best time to come: daytime on the weekdays, as you get to meet more international tourists.

We took our son here with two family friends. We got them wristbands for Pacific Park while my husband and I walked aroubd the pier. We even went to a sit down dinner while the kids went on rides. They were there for nearly 4 hours!
They loved the roller coaster the most. We liked that it was a small enough area to locate them quickly if needed. This place has several rides for all ages!

Nice little amusement park for the kids. Right now all of our three kids are 6 and under, and there are few rides for the little ones which is nice. The tickets for the rides seem to be on the pricey side, but as kind as the kids are having fun then it’s all good. Next time I’ll probably go the unlimited bracelet route for them.
The park was busy but the wait times for the rides weren’t too bad. Overall everyone had a fun time.

I have been to Santa monica pier so many times over the years, but it was actually my first time to come to this amusement park, hard to believe huh?! I always see the ferris wheel from a great distance, the lights look so pretty at night.
This park was so crowded on an early Saturday evening, filled with families, kids and couples! Lots of games to play, hubby spent 20 bucks on a few games, won me two tiny toys, well, it was the trying that counts!
This is a great place to have a casual date, games are fun, rides are thrilling, many food stands to offer. It opens till 12am on Saturdays, so it is completely hassle and stress free, just take time to enjoy some fun times!
Would I come back here again? Probably, and? With more comfortable shoes!

The Pacific Park is an amusement park located on the Santa Monica Pier. The entrance is this cute octopus, Inkie, welcoming you in: D They have 12 rides, 18 midway games, and also food and seaside shopping available. You can purchase an unlimited annual pass ($ 99) as well as meal cards and day passes. If you’re a fan of the ferris wheel, check out the Pacific Wheel, which is about 130 feet above the Pier and you can take great pictures from the top. There are a lot of rotating/​back-​and-​forth rides, like the Inkie’s Wave Jumper, Inkie’s PIrate Shape, Sea Planes, Inkie’s Air Lift, the Sea Dragon, etc. (usually, these make me quite nauseated, so I avoided them!). The West Coaster, on the other hand, is the only oceanfront steel roller coaster, which I thought was pretty neat: D Cute place to have some family fun, especially if you have kids.

My friend and I drove to Santa Monica Pier to attend a birthday party during the Summer Twilight Concert Series. We decided early on to be fashionably late and enjoy our surroundings for a bit and that is exactly what we did.
The last time I was on the Santa Monica Pier was when I finished the L.A. Marathon, after running 26.2 miles I was in no mood to ride the amusement rides but this time I was. My friend and I walked around and came across the Pacific Park. This is the first time I had ever walked around the Pacific Park and was quite surprised with the amount of rides they had to offer.
I began searching out where we could purchase tickets to ride the rides and quickly found a booth. While waiting in line for our tickets I began reading the signs and found out ages 8 & up can purchase a wristband that is good for the entire day for unlimited rides for $ 24.95.
We could not leave empty handed so I purchased tickets to ride the Ferris wheel which was $ 6.00 a person per ride. Instead of tickets you are given a paper card with credits on it and that card is presented to the ticket taker.
My friend and I waited 10 – 15 minutes in line to get on the Ferris wheel. Prior to getting in your cart you are given an opportunity to have your picture taken by Pacific Park staff which can be purchased for an additional fee, we declined.
As my friend and I were waiting for our turn I asked her to guess what numbered & colored cart we would be getting in, she guessed and was wrong, I took a shot and I was right on the money with the color and the number=) I am cool like that.
As for the ride itself, it was amazing!!! The view from the top of the Ferris wheel is simply breath taking. I cannot believe I have lived in Los Angeles all this time and never rode this ride for the fun of it or for the view of the Ocean and City from the top. It was honestly something I plan on doing again. It was truly a memory and view of a lifetime.
As for the rest of Pacific Park I found it to be quite nice. There was a large Police presence on the Pier and I did not see any ‘riff raff’ that you might come across at Six Flags.
The rest of Pacific Park has a roller coaster, bumper cars, pirate boat, scrambler ride and many others. It had quite the mixture of rides for both children and adults.
If rides are not your thing you can play the typical games you find at carnivals such a basketball, ball throwing or ring tossing games and of course you can win prizes. These games remind me of a child memory. I was visiting my father on the East Coast and was taken to a carnival at the old Shea Stadium grounds. My father took my over to a particular game and I was told by the operator to bet on red and low & behold red won, the next spin I was told to place my ticket on blue and blue won. I am not saying these games are fixed, maybe I was just lucky=)
