For almost 40 years, Perry’s has been a major influence in the Santa Monica and Venice Beach culture. With 12 convenient locations to serve you, Perry’s rents bicycles, rollerblades, chairs, umbrellas, mats, boogie boards, volleyballs and more. Perry’s serves delicious breakfast and lunch café fare in open-​air settings at four of its beachside locations along Santa Monica’s world famous Gold Coast. It’s extensive menu includes fresh fruit and juices, salads, hot and cold sandwiches, burgers, pizza, vegetarian and mexican specialities, grilled items, French pasteries, cappuccinos, lattes, and so much more. Business Owner

Richard is the owner of Perry’s Café and Rentals, Venice Beach Rentals and Blazing Saddles on the Pier. Richard has expanded his beach-​side business from 2 concession locations into eight retail, foodservice and rental operations. He was instrumental in installing 25 sand beach volleyball courts on the Santa Monica beach to reinvigorate the area volleyball culture. He created the largest bicycle and rollerblade rental fleet in Southern California, introduced inline skating to the beach communities and brought recycling to the beach restaurant and concession operations along the Santa Monica beaches. Richard is currently a board member of the Santa Monica Business Roundtable, the Ocean Park Association, the Green Party, Rollerblade of North America and a member of the Los Angeles and Santa Monica Convention and Visitors Bureau, as well as the Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce.
