Established in 1999.

Outstanding service and attention to details made us one of the top local movers in the Los Angeles and the bay area with extending our local service throughout Orange, Riverside & San Diego counties in the past few years. We provide full moving services with outstanding care for your valuables and like always striving to keep your moving costs down.

We carry all required insurances by law including workman’s comp for your protection. All our crews are assembled from the employees of the company and not day labor. We have the most important and valuable thing in the moving industry. When everybody is talking about their trucks, storage size, and great rates, we talk about our guys. Moved from DTLA to Palm Springs. We had used another mover in previous years and decided to seek additional estimates this time. We first met Iliya, the Estimator. He was positive, thorough and confident during our estimate. His numbers turned out to be perfect.
We opted to have our kitchen, art and other valuable packed by Prodigy the day before our move. Marcos and team (3) finished sooner than the estimated time and we were able to save $ 200 on packing… we did a lot of prep which facilitated the time savings.
On move day, Marcos and team arrived and got off to a quick start. The attitude from his team was cordial, focused, energetic and collaborative. We made it to Palm Springs and move-​in went quickly, smoothly, without a glitch. They left, we unpacked, a few days later, all boxes empty… nothing broken… not a crack… not a mark… as perfect as it was the day before.
We are very happy to highly recommend Prodigy. A total positive experience!

Definitely 5 star service. Carlos, Geno and Vlada were first class. They unloaded a 16′ pod in under 3 hours which left time to make adjustments in placing furniture. They somehow managed to make wrangling a huge heavy marble table look easy. Great teamwork, great courtesy and incredibly hard word on their part made writing this review super sweet. Can’t say enough positive things about this company. First off, Abby was very efficient & kind. When I initially called at 11:30am to schedule a move immediately Abby said she would get back to me shortly. Within 2 minutes she returned my call informing my move could be scheduled that same day with a window block of 6 hours. By 1:30pm a crew of 4 arrived. Marcos, Walter, David L and Francisco were awesome! They were super nice guys, fast and moved my stuff so carefully… They even wrapped my furniture and mattress to ensure no damages. I paid for my services in cash which included a discount. Thank you: Abby, Marcos, Walter, David L, Francisco!!! Prodigy=Professionalism! Highly recommend :-)

Used Prodigy for a local move. Outstanding from start to finish. Abby gave me the quote, walked me through the details, all was upfront. She was professional and I had no surprises. Juan and Javier showed and worked like mad dogs. Made the move in quoted time, all arrived in tact and assembled. Would highly recommend these guys, and the price is right.

Let’s begin with… This is literally my fifth move within three years. And every single time I’ve used prodigy move. Abby the sales rep takes care of you and my moving crew was on top of it! Edwin and the crew were efficient, kind and helpful! Next time I move I will ask for Edwin again!

A job well done. Ezekiel and his crew were friendly, efficient, and extremely careful with our belongings. Abby was also excellent at following up on the service. All together a great choice.
The move did take longer than we expected but everything arrived in perfect condition and in the end we would have to say it was so worth the expense.
We will use them the next time we move and recommend the company to our friends.

Just moved all the furniture from my two bedroom apartment into a storage space as well as into my new one bedroom place. Veronica was amazing and made it so easy to book an appointment. I was even late in scheduling the move and they were able to fit me in. The move itself felt like the easiest I’ve ever done, the crew was so efficient, friendly and fast. Fernando, Escobar and Walter put in a lot of work as most of my furniture is extremely heavy, they also had to carry it up a flight of stairs and they were so great about it. I would definitely recommend them to anyone, I’ve had not so pleasant experiences with other moving companies in the past so it was truly amazing to find Prodigy.

I have used Prodigy for both business and personal moves over the years, and they do an amazing job every time. i most recently used them last Friday for business. I called Thursday afternoon for a next day move and Shelly was so helpful! I was afraid it may have been too late to do a next day move, but she set everything up for me and was a delight. There were 5 gentleman the next day to move everything. They called with an eta and got there on time. Carlos, the foreman, was a pleasure and easy to work with. If you hire these guys you will not be disappointed.

Prodigy did a great job. Abby was so helpful and accommodated a last minute request w 3 movers. Definitely worth using three guys it goes a lot faster and even though it’s a little more expensive it saves you money using two is way too slow deathly go for three. The guys are professional and got the job done I would def recommend prodigy especially because of Abby.

These guys were great! I was moving stuff in and out of a storage unit I had at the house and after realizing I was in way over my head I called up Prodigy. Shelly was very nice, thorough and timely. I had a team of 2 come out the same day I called, within 2 hours. Carlos, was extremely nice and did everything I asked even though I probably seemed like a total crazy person (lots of moving stuff back and forth). I think there are probably some cheaper moving companies out there, but what I paid for the service I got was well worth it.

Had to move 2-​bedroom Apt stuff into a storage in Santa Monica. Abby (Dispatcher) is srsly super efficient and amazing. The crew (Carlos2, Maori3, Walter) were on time and PROFESSIONAL AF. They really don’t waste time and wrap everything properly and nicely just like how you would want it. They got our instructions well on how we wanna keep the items etc. Friendly n funny guys. Ok sidebar:
So we were at the storage level 3 and i heard a meow. LIKE LEGIT SOUND. I was like Wtf did someone leave a cat inside the storage rooms ffs. we continued walking and i heard another meow. This time i turned to one of the guys behind n asked ‘Did u hear that???’ This guy just smiled and nodded and i heard meows now and then. I ONLY REALISED later on the ground that one (idk which) was making the sound!!! Then i found out they were teasing me FFS. Anw, i wasn’t offended i was amused. The meow sounded friggin real.
Point is, Prodigy service is really worth the money u pay for. And the best part, no hidden extra costs furreal and they even gave free blankies to cover the corner of the beds.

I used Prodigy now for the 7th time in 3 years, and they are always fantastic. I had to come on here again and give them praises, as Veronica, who manages the move from the office, was a pleasure to work with. And the movers (Jesus M., Onael and Yaelas) worked so incredibly hard that I had to make sure I gave them credit on Unilocal.They really went above and beyond to make sure my belongings were moved, and placed in a area of my liking in the new house. They were also very amicable and fun to spend the whole day with. The only thing I wish Prodigy would do more if is to rewards loyal customers with a very good discount periodically. As I mentioned, I have used them 7 times in 3 years, so that is a considerable amount of money I have given the company. By giving a really good discount every 3rd or 4th time, as an example, would mean a lot with repeat customers.

My husband and I used Prodigy 12÷27÷15 to move from Downey to Cerritos. I was pleased with them from the very first quote. Veronica was awesome and broke down all of the costs to me so I knew exactly how much I’d be spending. She walked me through the steps leading up to the move and even called afterward to see how the move went.
The moving team, Carlos 2, Francisco 2, and Rafael were amazing. They arrived right on time and had us packed up, moved, and unpacked within four hours. They were so efficient and friendly! They put my husband and I at ease as they navigated our move with expertise.
I would absolutely use Prodigy again in the future, it was the best moving decision we made!

Our second time using Prodigy. Simply amazing. Moving f’ing sucks. The packing, the logistics, especially during the holidays when there are 100 other things going on. Veronica is great. Courteous, professional, and just… straight up real. Felt like I was talking to a friend doing me a favor, no hidden agendas or nonsense, she just genuinely wanted to help. Having worked with her 2 years in a row now, feel like we friends for realz now.
The actual move. Herb and crew were fast and efficient, even hauling our wardrobes up 13 flights of stairs because it couldn’t fit in the elevator. Unpacked everything, not a scratch or dent. Our old fashioned glasses, decanters, and bottles of liquor… all safe at home, ready for our holiday party.

Julio and the crew and Abby (the dispatcher) were amazing. Those guys worked hard, were pleasant, shared jokes with me, and moved all of our furniture from North Hollywood to Valencia within a 4 hour time frame.
I will use them again — anytime — PLUS they are affordable… do yourselves a favor…

Veronica answered all my questions up front. She was so professional, I went with Prodigy even though other movers were slightly cheaper.
Carlos & his crew were fast & efficient. I thought the move would take 6 hours. They were so fast, it only took 4.

I had moved out of my 3-​bedroom house into a 20×15 storage unit and another 10×10 to boot. My family helped with the first move which was a huge pain. When I finally bought my new 3-​bedroom house, I decided to hire a mover to get me in.
I spoke to Abby at Prodigy Moving. Based on my needs, she offered a 4-​man team @ $ 145/​hr for a minimum of 3 hours and a one huge truck. The team arrived at my storage unit and went to town packing every inch of that truck with my stuff. Since a lot was already boxed, they just had to lot a lot of it. But I had a lot of odd sized items like couches, gardening tools and outdoor furniture. The team knew how to bundle smaller stuff together and organize everything to load my whole 20×15 in the first load.
They offloaded following my directions at my new place. At first, I was going to do the 10×10 myself. But these guys were so fast and efficient, I decided to have them knock out the 10×10 too.
Not cheap, but well worth the cost given how efficient they were.

I had an all-​around very good experience with Prodigy. Abby was very responsive and helpful setting things up, and David and his crew of movers were fast, professional, and fair. They moved my stuff into a 2-​bedroom apartment in about 3 hours, and charged me the rate quoted (about $ 125 an hour).
You never know what you’re going to get with movers, but these guys were really good. I will definitely use them again for my next local move.
