Specialties
We’ve developed a non-surgical approach for the treatment of severe and chronic spinal disorders by using a combination of physical therapy, chiropractic, rehabilitation and non-surgical spinal decompression. We have a 5-year study validating its effectiveness.
History
Established in 1977.
I opened this office with my father. We had both graduated Chiropractic school– I specialized in sports medicine and worked as a doctor for UCLA, LA Clilppers, The US Olympic Team, etc. In 1990, I had a severe back injury which left me partially disabled for 12 years. I failed chiropractic, medicine, surgery, PT and every treatment I tried. Eventually I, with others, developed a treatment for severe disc disorders (like mine), that hadn’t responded to treatment. About 10 years ago, I changed my entire practice to just treating these patients. There is no other center I know of like this one offering such comprehensive treatment.
Meet the Business Owner
Dr. Rick Morris M.
Business Owner
Gradudated chiropractic school in 1977 (class Salutatorian) and went on to specialize in sports medicine working for the leading track and field teams in the country (i.e. UCLA, US Olympic Team…). I’ve published medical research, lobbied for health care reform and continue to write health related articles for various newspapers.
I’ve had post graduate certification in sports medicine, disability evaluation, accident reconstruction, radiology and anti-aging medicine; but, my best education came as a patient for 12 years suffering from a severe and disabling back disorder. I eventually found an answer which transformed my practice away from sports medicine and into severe back disorders.
I’ve taught for 30 years in neuromuscular diagnosis, treatment and sports medicine. Currently, I teach at LMU and lecture on the treatment of spinal stenosis and severe disc disorders. I do not believe there is a better center in the country for spinal stenosis, disc disorders or sciatica.
