Macaulay, Ali and Andre took excellent care of us.

Between the crap customer service from the service department, the arguing between service employee’s (red shirts) and super aggressive way they drive inventory and customer cars, I’ll NEVER return here. This place seriously needs to get their shit together; relying on your location alone won’t get you very far.

I was in the market for a used A8L. I found a gently used one on auto trader. I called the dealership and as is my custom, I asked for someone in the internet sales dept. Michael Phelan answered the phone and I explained I was interested in the 2006 A8L. We made an appt and saw it the next day. I communicated up front that I was approved with my credit union. He gave me some info from the service dept regarding the vehicle… which I appreciated and felt comfortable after that point proceeding with the purchase. I had a specific purchase price in mind and we quickly got right near it. Like in a few minutes. No back and forth. No sales jargon. I appreciated that as well. Ed was the sales manager that day and he made sure my deal was squared away in time for me to get home and watch the Super Bowl. The finance lady Andrea was also pleasant and zero pressure. She presented me with options and let me decide. I like the transparency and warmth of the staff at SMA. You won’t regret calling Michael Phelan in internet sales.

Went here to get prices on a couple of cars and my options as my Lexus lease was almost up but I dont think they really cared or took me seriously, like I was hanging out at the dealership for fun. They didnt really answer my questions or were very helpful, just told me to come back when really. I almost reconsidered about getting and Audi. Anyways, went to Beverly Hills and they helped me instead

My experience at this dealership was very disappointing because we had to wait 30 minutes for someone to assist us. After waiting for so long and going from one lot to another lot checking out the cars, no one helped us. We were able to look at every single car without anyone helping us. We asked the receptionist to call a sales person for us and we waited another 15 minutes. Nobody offered us water or anything and after waiting for so long nobody acknowledged us or made an effort to help us.
I am a Santa Monica resident buy with today’s experience I’m taking my business to South Bay. This is not how a business takes care of their clients and specially someone who is serious to purchase a car.

It’s been a disappointing experience at Santa Monica Audi. I had to wait a really long time even though i had set up the deal in advance before I got there. The salesman didn’t fully disclose the monthly price of my Audi Q5 3.0T lease. I didn’t find out it was $ 75.00 more per month until i was signing the paperwork. Really bad communication. Even the cheapest cars come with a manual explaining all the features, but not this car. All i got were pamphlets. I’ve asked to have a manual mailed to me and haven’t received anything. My experience at Santa Monica Audi has been frustrating and disappointing. I didn’t get the sense that they care about their customers.

My experience working with SM Audi, specifically with leasing manager Chris H., couldn’t have been any better. I live out of state but had a specific model and package in mind that couldn’t be located near me. Having previously lived in LA and remembering what a large and impressive dealership SM Audi is, I gave a call and from there it just could not gone any more smoothly. Chris was fun to deal with and found the exact car I wanted elsewhere in So-Cal. He pulled off a quick dealer trade, overnighted me the paperwork and shipped the car to me asap, all for a better deal than my local dealer was offering me on a less compelling model.
Whether you live in LA or not, absolutely check these guys out if you’re thinking Audi!

The moment I signed my lease everything went down here in this dealership. Once they get your money, customer service is the least of their worries. I’ve had multiple problems with this dealership’s service department. Loosing my tire lock key. Not having an appointment even when you call way before they open. Worst of all, for a dealership that is supposed to be luxury they will never have enough loaners and 90% of the time they will shuttle you to a nearby car rental place to rent a cheap toyota or whatever they can get on discount. And that is due to not being able to have your oil change car ready that day. When my lease expires I am going to run as far as I can from this place and never look back, worst financial decision and a huge waste of money for sub par service and low quality products. Yes, the car I leased is terrible but that’s not their fault, their horrible customer service is.

I’ve been around the car business my entire life, and in my opinion, dealerships don’t get much better than Santa Monica Audi. From sales to service, my experience has always been top notch.
One of the biggest determining factors in my rating a dealership is the straight forwardness of the sales people. There’s nothing worse than some sleazy sales guy or gal who tries to fleece you and ultimately wastes your time.
SM Audi offers quite the opposite experience. Many of the sales people seem to be enthusiasts that actually appreciate what they’re selling, and there doesn’t appear to be a lot of turnover on the staff. I had the pleasure of working with Chris on my 2013 S4 lease, and the process was unbelievably smooth. He was friendly, accommodating, and never once tried to pull the wool over my eyes. I’ve subsequently sent three friends to Chris, all of which were equally thrilled to work with him.
The facilities are on the smaller side but are extremely clean and conveniently located. Don’t let the main lot size fool you; they have a HUGE inventory. I had to go out to one of their satellite lots to track down the car I wanted, and I’ve never seen so many Audis.
Quite frankly, it’s hard to imagine getting anything other than an Audi with this dealership in my backyard. Highly recommended!

I had a horrible experience here. I was a serious buyer and no one took me seriously. I met with Dana who I had been emailing with. He had no idea who I was and acted like I was some kid wasting his time. Unfortunately for him I bought an Audi 2 hrs later from Keyes Audi. No one offered me water or coffee. He didnt even ask if I wanted to test drive the car. The rate he offered me was INSANELY high compared to other locations.
I have heard horrible things about this place. Never going back. I recommend Keyes Audi– they are truly outstanding.

I’m glad to see another positive review for Ash here, he certainly deserves it. What a great guy. Ash took his time going over all the specs and features of the car. He was knowledgeable and friendly throughout the entire process. Couldn’t have been happier closing with anyone else.
It took us awhile to find the right car, but they never pushed. Ed and Ash did a fantastic job. They were focused on understanding our priorities, and ultimately found the right car at the best deal for us. Sure, everyone steps into a dealership with reservations and you should always do your due diligence. We certainly did. But to save yourself the trouble, please just go to Santa Monica Audi. Ed and Ash will take care of you.

Terrible sales experience. Went in to inquire about a lease and met with Amir. He was rude and condescending telling me I would not get a better deal. Well he was wrong and at two other Audi dealers (Beverly and Van Nuys) they beat his numbers by large amounts and were friendly and easy to work with. He wrote down his numbers and when I asked for the paper he says «Oh no you can’t have it, you remember.» This was in a RUDE tone. I was appalled by Amir’s demeanor and they lost my business because of this encounter.

Worst experience ever. The sales guy I dealt with was fantastic day one. Full disclosure, I was a total idiot about cars, did 0 research & trusted him (don’t do that it’s a dumb).
Slippery sales guy was to deliver my new car to my house the next morning, I had a few questions & came in. I brought a friend to make sure I was getting an amazing car.
Cut to my friend (German, knows cars… worked at Mercedes Stuttgart etc). Laughs her ass off as she looks at POS I’m so proudly trying to buy. She is also in the market for a car so she is showing me all options on the lot & explains why the cars she’s pointing out are so much better than POS I’m still thinking just needs upgraded wheels.
She wants me to test drive some other cars & she is in conversation with a different sales guy (the nice Armenian). My POS sales guy sees me looking at wheels/cars with my friend & a nice Armenian sales guy & demands to know what I’m doing while raising his voice. I’m a fairly functional person and I ask… «so I’m not allowed to talk to another sales guy?»…He then says something like «if you sit in a car that guy shows you its half my commission». I explain that my friend is looking at a car to buy & let him know his tone is freaking me out. I also point out that «my» car lacks the technology package, luxury sound & has cheap wheels.
I walked out of the dealer.
Mercedes Stuttgart & I drove to Downtown Audi, she introduced me to an amazing sales team, Artour & Ark… spent an hour there, went to lunch while they found the color combo I wanted with all the bells and whistles… they had the car a few days later
Same lease payment on a car with $ 10,000 worth of bells and whistles. No yelling. Amazing. Shop Downtown.

My car has had 2 previous owners (Audi A4 2.0T Quattro) and has always been serviced at the Santa Monica Dealership. Today, I happened to be in the area when I noticed that my engine kept on shutting off every time I would break and come to a complete stop. I was worried that I might not make it back home to Hollywood, so I popped in to the service department. The men who greeted me were not friendly to begin with, and they told me that I could leave my car with them, but that I would need to pay for my own rental car which would cost me $ 35 a day (for who knows how many days it could be with repairs).
I inquired about their complimentary loaner vehicle service like their website had advertised, and they told me that they no longer offered those services, and that I would need to rent a car through Enterprise. I felt somewhat suspicious about all of this, so I decided to call the Audi Dealership in Beverly Hills. I told them what was going on with my car, and they scheduled for me to drop my car off the very next morning at 7:20am, and informed me that they would make sure to have a complimentary loaner vehicle (an Audi A4) ready for me as well.
I stepped inside the service department’s office to find the person who was assisting me, to notify them that I would no longer be needing their services, and the guy just looked at me and said «Your keys are in the ignition». I didn’t say another word, got in my car and drove away.
Not sure why the Santa Monica location can’t be as friendly as the Beverly Hills location. Very disappointed with Santa Monica… Will not be visiting this location for any future Audi needs. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced with Audi. Beverly Hills all the way!

After Ronan and the «sales manager» offered what was likely the worst deal I’ve ever been offered on a new car lease (though I loved the attempt at positioning — while showing me the numbers, he kept repeating «this is a great, great deal!» …um, no, Ronan, it’s a terrible deal and we both know it), we walked out.
Maybe they need some sales training from the guys at Audi of Beverly Hills… who actually DID offer us a great deal on both our A6 trade-in and on our brand new Q7.

They service deportment CHRIS NAVARO had been my guy and he is the ultimate and amazing guy ever! He speaks to you and he truly cares about all of your needs and if can then he will. That’s the kind of attitude this man has … Audi Santa Monica is so so blessed to have A CHRIS NAVARO !!!

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
I made an appointment on a Saturday with Steve M. to come in to see an Audi A3. It was an hour drive to get there from where I live.
We went for a test drive and came to an agreement on the price. I told him that I would be going with LAPD credit union, not Audi. I asked him to draw up the purchase order and MSRP sticker price, as this is required by credit union to issue the check to Audi. When he printed the purchase order, I noticed he had the name wrong so I asked him to correct it. The credit union would not accept the PO with incorrect name. He sarcastically wined and said, «oh, now I have to reprint the contract.» Really? I expect better customer service with Audi. But I let it slide since I wanted the vehicle.
I explained that the credit union is closed Sunday, but I will be taking the day off that Monday to go to credit union to deliver purchase order and collect the check.
So now it’s Monday, my partner and I are at the credit union to seal the deal. We call Audi to let them know we are on our way.
Steve M. at Audi informs us that the car was sold Sunday. Really!!! Are you kidding me!!! I told this man I would be taking the day off, and he doesn’t have the audacity to call me?!
I’m sorry but the customer service here is awful. I called the General Manager, Brad, to complain. He told me he would call me back to offer a comparable deal. I never heard back.
If you are in the business of buying an Audi, stay away from this dealership and go to Downtown LA, and ask for Kit. You’ll get classier customer service with him.
