Common Surgeries:

Bunions: Removing painful bump on top or on side of big toe joint. Surgery often performed to alleviate pain in joint or remove unsightly foot condition.

Hammertoes: Surgically straightening painfully bent toes. Visible scarring is minimized by placing incision in between toes.

Tailor’s Bunions: Removing painful bump on top /​side of pinky toes.

Established in 2003.

Originally opened his private practice in Artesia and expanded to Hacienda Height, CA. Reopened at new locations, Santa Monica and Santa Clarita in 2011. Dr. Yoo is focused on quality of care provided to each of his patients and not the quantity of patients seen each day.

Business Owner

Dr. Yoo was educated and surgically trained in the East Coast and moved to Southern California in 2003. He started his private practice soon after with a philosophy that each patient is unique and important requiring an individualized treatment plan.

Dr. Yoo was surgically trained at Staten Island University Hospital for four years where he was the chief podiatric resident. He is currently on staff at Glendale Memorial Hospital, was a member of the teaching staff at Coast Plaza Doctor’s Hospital where he was instrumental in teaching podiatric residents his surgical techniques. Besides performing elective cosmetic foot surgeries, Dr. Yoo’s sub-​specialty is performing limb salvage procedures in the Diabetic and Non-​healing Wound patients.

Dr. Yoo was a student athlete in both high school and college and understands the high level of performance required by his athlete patients. He uses every possible medical advances available to treat his patients.
