I did the LA marathon this past weekend and needed to buy some more commemorative marathon gear. They had everything I was looking for! Stephanie helped me. She is such a sweetheart, answered all my questions, great customer service skills, nice smile and is definitely the kind of person you working on the floor and up front in a store! I live in Long Beach but man I would definitely stop by the Skechers in Santa Monica if I need Skechers gear! Thank you for making me a very satisfied customer!

SCROOGE! Sketchers are NOT on sale for the holidays – unless of course you buy two pair. The only shoes on sale at Sketchers are their poor selling items – one of which I found in a close-​out store in the same Promenade for $ 30 less than Sketchers was selling them.
The store manager, who was very nice, told me that their whoilesale division – which sells accounts like Amazon and closeout stores – is separate from their retail sales division. I guess this is why you can buy the same shoes at Amazon, including delivery, for less than at the Sketchers store.
The Third Street Promenade is bustling with holiday shoppers, but only a couple of customers at Sketchers. Maybe word is out that there are no deals to be had.

Great experience on a busy Friday evening — shop assistants were tremendously helpful and yet very respectful. Great selection of affordable and quality shoes. Definitely a place suitable to get your new shoes, even if you are a local and this looks like a touristy place from the outside!

EVERYONE here was soooo kind and soooo helpful, especially Max. He saw I needed help, dropped what he was doing and helped to explain about each different style I had in my hands and which ones would be better for my daughters wide foot. He also helped to explain their point system. His service caught me off guard because it was so old fashioned and amazing. What a great experience here. Anyone who had a bad experience, are you sure you just weren’t having a bad day?

Terrible customer service. Just got off the phone w Pierre who is already having a ‘bad day at 9:40 am. After asking me if I had a shoe infront of me, (I didnt), he exclaimeed «OH GREAT.» Im sorry, Isn’t it his job to help me. Beaware that there is another Unilocal review for the same store with more stars. I’ll post this twice, it’s the same store, new location. I will be speaking to the manager later.

My experience at this store a few weeks ago was great! I don’t know if it was due to the awesome service of Jesse or if everyone there is as great, but it reminded me of the service you used to get decades ago. No pressure, they put the shoes on you and check if the sizing is correct etc… You know how it was — when customer service actually existed! :)
I left smiling and with a new pair of memory foam tennies. YAY for ME!

They make is so obvious that they have to sell at least two pairs of shoes to make commission. They will keep bringing you shoes until you have two pairs that you like and will end up buying. Then they get these really expensive running shoes and bring them out to you and tell you how good it is just to make you buy them so they get there commission.
