History

Established in 1997.

Andrea began formal studies in the healing arts in the summer of 1997, and has maintained a private practice since the summer of 1998. Her main modalities are Cranio-​Sacral Therapy, Polarity Energy Balancing, Somatic Trauma Resolution (a form of Somatic Experiencing), Spiritual Counseling, Wuji Qigong Energy Balancing, Jin Shin Acupressure, Chakra Balancing, Aura Clearing, and several Spiritual Healing techniques, including Remote Energy Healing, Cord Cutting, a basic Soul Retrieval technique, and a Spiritual Cleansing process. She also uses Aromatherapy essential oils and a variety of Sound Healing instruments. Most of her training has been through Polarity Healing Arts of California (Topanga, CA), the Institute of Psycho-​Structural Balancing (Culver City, CA), and the Upledger Institute (Florida). Andrea is also certified to teach a simple yet powerful form of Heart-​centered meditation. Polarity and Qigong are similar to Reiki ~ Yelp has no category for general energy balancing.

Business Owner

Andrea is intuitive and empathic by nature, and began developing energetic sensitivity through T’ai Chi in 1995, and is now extremely sensitive to bio-​energy. She became fascinated with the power of Cranio-​Sacral Therapy in 1995 when it resolved her life-​long chronic headaches. Concurrent with her training in healing modalities, she also learned several spiritual practices, including two styles of T’ai Chi, five styles of Qigong, Kundalini Yoga, Vipassana meditation, and Heart-​centered meditation. Andrea enjoys hiking, dancing, and deep nature, and the next modality to be added to her skill set will be shamanic healing techniques.

Andrea is NOT a licensed psychotherapist. While Somatic Trauma Resolution and Somatic Experiencing are practiced by many psychotherapists, you do not have to be a licensed psychotherapist to practice these modalities. Andrea’s Spiritual Counseling techniques are based on mindfulness, holding space, and deep listening.
