Really awful. I bought a milk tea boba. A very unenthusiastic and bored kid prepared my drink, but how can you blame him– it’s basically a booth he sits in all day. I instantaneously threw the drink away after two sips. What a waste of $ 4 and a plastic cup.

The server shoo-ed us out before we could order. We were waiting for a friend in the tiny area outside of the stand and asked not to sit down at the tables if we weren’t going to order. He was stern and aggressive about us being there for two short minutes. We decided to leave since he was being a jerk, only to get hunted down and told not to come back… It was bizarre, the dude legitimately left his stand(he was the only person in it) to walk down Santa Monica Blvd and tell us not to come to that store.

Solid boba place at the promenade. It’s a little hidden unless you’re looking for it. It’s basically a to-go window where one person is making a drink in a small space. Not the best drink in the world but it’ll do when you have a craving. Especially for the prices. You can also customize your drink just keep in mind the prices that are listed on the menu don’t include tax! They have a variety of toppings/add-ins from not only different kinds of boba but lychee jelly too. You can also get milk teas, slushes, or tea over ice. I also love that you can customize the sweetness as well. The guy who was helping me was a little weird though. He was like«know what you want?» Zero eye contact and all. «Eh, taro milk tea?» Another awkward moment to add to my books, haha! Definitely worth a try if you’re in the area but not something to go outta your way for.

Walking distance from 3rd st. Pretty fresh boba and the Taro is amazing! They also gave other sweets/coffee and food. The place is very small and the service was fast.

Bobas are very well made and very authentic. It is one guy operating everything but he is pretty fast and efficient.

I love boba & my friend & I were searching for a place at the prominade! We found this on Unilocal & decided to try it out. We both got thai tea & it was great! The guy who helped us was very nice and had the drinks handed to us in no time! I recommend this place!

Pretty standard milk tea. Not amazing. But better than any other place that serves boba in Santa Monica. Dude who works there is a bit weird though. Didn’t even acknowledge me or look me in the eye once. Just snatched the card from my hand and plopped the drink in front of me. Maybe he was having a bad day. I’ll be back soon to try some of the other drinks. Good prices!

Best ‘Boba’ in town. It’s really hard to find good boba place in Santa Monica. Finally i found this hot spot. I really like thier Milk Tea Boba, strong tea flavor and boba were soft and slightly chewy. The service is fast and nice. I definitely recommend this place.

The Boba is really a nice boba spot. I was gonna get some jamba juice for my drive back home but saw a boba spot and decided to try it. Since it looked like a hole in the wall spot wasnt sure how my drink would come out. The boba was chewy and the taro slush i ordered was as good as other famous boba shop. If ur thirsty try The Boba~~

I love this place! Best boba around here… My fave is the green tea latte with lychee. I also love the Whitman grilled cheese… It has avocado and tomato in it yum… And the guy who runs it is super friendly and fast!

We left being cursed out by the man who works in the stand. We sat at the tables outside. The man working told us we couldn’t sit there, even though no one was sitting at any of the tables. Fair enough, that’s how LA works. We told him we were waiting for someone to order. We ended up having to leave. The man followed us down Santa Monica blvd. He said«excuse me ma’am. Please don’t come here again because I think you’re a f*cking liar.» He left his post to come out into the street to tell us this… So we didn’t come back.

The service was terrible! The man taking the order barely spoke any English and was very rude to us when our group decided to sit down AFTER we had already ordered and paid. He told us we could only sit down after we got our bobas and we could sit down only for 10 minutes. It was 4 p.m. on a Tuesday afternoon, so we were the only group there. I just don’t understand why he was so demanding and rude! The owner should look into this«man.» He really does not belong in customer service.

Finally some Boba on the 3rd street promenade! It’s a one man operation within a small space making all the drinks, however he’s quick! I have been ordering his Boba everyday I’m at work. The drinks are served with honey boba and can be put in a variety of drinks. I order the ice blended milk tea boba and it’s as good as other boba spots I’ve been to. I’ve ordered it enough times that the guy remembers me. I’m glad this spot has opened and is conveniently opened by my work! So if you’re at the 3rd street promenade, thirsty for boba, drop by this spot!
