I found Pilates and Gyrotonic while looking to rehab from my own dance injuries. Working out of a physical therapy rehab setting, I offer a comprehensive understanding of how to improve the overall body functionality. Looking at muscle imbalances, poor posture and incomplete workouts, I help design a program that teaches and supports all levels of sports as well as the daily activities that gets us into trouble. All ages are welcomed as the principals behind both Pilates and Gyrotonic look at how the body is designed to move. I work with young child athletes, dancers, golf pros, artists, lawyers, ALS, MS, Parkinson’s you name it! From as young as 7 yrs old to as wise as 91 yrs old. I am fascinated by the body, how is moves and how it wants to be healthy.

Meet the Business Owner
Rachel W.
Business Owner
Rachel comes to the instruction and practice of Pilates and Gyrotonic® movement therapy as a natural result of and complement to her career in dance.
She was introduced to these rehabilitative and preventative techniques in the mid 1990’s while attending Juilliard School. Later as a professional dancer and faculty member at the Merce Cunningham Dance Studio in NYC, she found that the depth and simplicity of the work were a vital component to the understanding of body mechanics, and developing a strong, injury-free body. Rachel began her formal Pilates rehabilitation training in Colorado in 1998 with Amy Anderson of Colorado Center for Physical Therapy, Polestar Education, and Jennifer Reich at Center Strength
