It’s pretty hard to mess up a good donut but all in all this place is pretty good. The only downside to it is if you get stuck in the middle of the morning rush you might find yourself waiting about 5 to 10 minutes for a simple glazed doughnut. So what I try to do is come either before the rush which is before 8AM or after the rush which is after about 8:45AM. The staff is pretty much OK I would say they pay attention to you when you walk in the door but often times they are very busy making sandwiches for other customers. They are not rude at all and I would recommend this place to any friend who is in the Santa Monica area and has a sweet tooth. This donut shop is located next to a laundry mat so I would say if you’re getting your wash done it’s a great place to kill a little bit of time.

Always find yum yum donuts fresh and tasty. And price wise is amazing, I got three donuts and a medium tea for $ 5.50, you can’t beat that kind of price! Staff are always friendly and they take card payment for small amounts. What more do you want

Love the donuts there! I go in the mornings before work and grab a bagel or donut, It’s always fresh and yummy. Did I mention the people are really friendly? Girls are always friendly but the guy who’s there in the morning(can’t remember his name… sorry) is so nice that I consider him one of the best customer services you can get. Will keep coming!

I went there and tried ordering 5 different deli items and they didn’t have most of the ingredients. Shoot never again. That’s like if McDonald’s ran out of fries!

LEGITTHEWORSTFOODIVEEVERTASTED. To the girl who said they have delicious breakfast sandwiches, you need to get out more. I’ve never been so disgusted with the actual taste of food. And simple food at that! Egg and bacon on a bagel is possibly the easiest thing to put together and should be so delicious. I can’t even begin to describe how awful it was. The egg tasted like it’s been cooked for 30 minutes in a microwave and left out for a couple of hours. The bacon… Was bacon bits. Tiny little bacon bits in the middle of the egg? Like they sprinkled it in the cup of egg and threw it in the microwave. I’m pretty sure that’s what they did. DONOTGIVETHISPLACEYOURMONEY. 1. It’s terrible 2. I spent 3 minutes writing this review for you. YOUVEBEENWARNED. The star is for the coffee. Which was mediocre.

Dry. Tasteless. Small. $.85/donut. I wouldn’t shop there again if you paid me. Yuck.

This place sucks. Dry tastesless donuts. So not worth the calories. Go to DK Donuts less than a mile away. Much better donuts.

I’m shocked that I hadn’t review this place before. People at my workplace love this place, so we always have boxes of this stuff at work. The main donut itself without any of the embellishments, is well-made. Firm but fluffy. Their icing is also delicious. I’ve tried their donuts with sprinkles, sugar, chocolate topping, and others. All were really good.

Wanted something sweet while I did laundry, and despite the damage it would do to my low carb lifestyle, some donut holes seemed to be in order. Place has a pretty good size parking lot so it should be easy to pull in and get a sugar fix. So I stopped in and ordered 6 donut holes for a Buck. Not a bad price for some sweet cholesterol. I suppose it was late in the day which was why the donut holes were kinda that«stale crunchy» texture. But for a neighborhood donut shop it was still ok. I will say some of the other sugary offerings were calling to me, like the jellies and the cinnamon twists. Those looked good, but I’m trying to not overdose on fat pills. Overall a good neighborhood donut place I’d say, but nothing«omigod» awesome about it. Three stars all around.

This is a no frills shop that is fine for your basic donut needs. But they’re missing a couple classic styles that I would expect. Coffee options were limited. When I visited, trashcans were overflowing onto the floors. Lacks that wonderful donut shop smell that I anticipate and look forward to every Sunday morning.

This place is great for late night munchies. Their bagel sandwiches are amazing! The reason for the four stars is because the staff is slow even if their not busy. But overall great donuts, coffee and sandwhichs and their open 24 hours!

ok, first i have to say that the customer service here was beyond awesome PEDRO was patient as i asked a bunch of questions about what everything was. he was also polite and actually SMILED. how often does that happen nowadays? i have to say, the CUSTARD-FILLEDDONUTHOLES left much to be desired. idk if they’re called CREAMPUFFS or what, but the custard has a strange flavor that i did not dig. but i will give them another try because i’ve had it with the other donut shop for now. hopefully there is something that i will like. they have sandwiches, as well, and they’re closer, too. happy Unilocaling and here’s to tasting life! :)

Not a bad place at all, the donuts and food is good, but if you come late at night for some food, you will get horrible service, since the one worker that works there at nights is lazy and if you get a sandwich it will be cold and made with no care at all.

I love to stop by once in a while to grab some donuts for my co workers. They can’t get enough with these donuts. I love the coffee and a donut to go with it. I like that they have there own parking lot and street parking.

If only I could give them ZERO star!!! This place doesn’t know how to talk with a customer! She made me feel really uncomfortable, and she was giving me an attitude when I was asking her about the cake batter and glaze doughnuts. I don’t know why the heck she was giving me those looks for, when i was trying to get some donuts. It happened this morning, I will never be back. If you wanna have a good peaceful morning, and where the workers won’t ruin the rest of your day with their negative attitude please go to a different donut place. There are a lot of other yum yum donut shops with better customer service. I don’t know where their manager is looking, having rude workers.

The new ownership is great. The staff is excellent and extremely friendly. Their donuts are very fresh and their sandwiches are probably some of the best you can buy for a few bucks. They have a wicked combo for $ 5 and there is a ton of different varieties you can pick from. Change the meat, the bread and so forth. And it’s fresh. Great stuff!

For a large-scale donut shop, I wasn’t expecting friendly service or gourmet-style coffee, but I was expecting a large variety of donuts. Sadly, half of their displays are filled with other kinds of pastries, which is fine, but my favorite types of donuts are fruit-filled ones. I asked what kind they had – strawberry – that’s it. I’ve been there a couple times, and that’s the answer I get every time. Either that or vanilla(?). I used to frequent Foster Donuts every so often when I lived near it in the Valley, which was five times smaller than this place; they always had at least three fruit-filled choices. Very weird that a bigger operation does not. But a place like Fosters focuses on donuts. This place tries to appeal to everyone, with different kinds of pastries and hot sandwiches. Problem is – it’s no longer a donut shop when they don’t focus on the donuts. I’d still come back though, cause they do have some tasty food here – and cheap. So, that’s always a plus! EDIT: They do have donuts with apple, strawberry, and lemon, maybe more, but apparently you have to ask the right person, because not every one there knows. The only time I can something besides strawberry is when I ask the guy(don’t know his name; seems like the manager).

I’ve been a couple of times now and like their modest selection of donuts, croissants and muffins. It’s conveniently located right on Pico so it’s easy to park and get in and out of. Prices here are pretty cheap for a lot of food. Recently, the woman behind the counter didn’t understand when I told her three times I wanted a dozen. She thought it meant a cinnamon roll. But that’s ok. We sorted it out when I said 12. Coffee here is decent. Not«I can’t believe he’s not having a second cup» good but it works. I wouldn’t drop everything to go here but it works for delighting the office with the arrival of a dozen donuts.
