I can’t speak highly enough about JMG Design and Build. Prior to meeting with Juan, I had hired 3 architects to redesign my home in Camarillo. Every single time my plans had to keep getting resubmitted to the County multiple times for approval, which lead to extremely lengthy and costly waiting periods. This went on for nearly 3 years and I was beginning to lose hope. I was lucky enough to meet Juan at a local volunteering event and for some reason I immediately trusted him. Even before hiring him for the job he gave me some excellent pointers. I eventually hired him and my project was approved in less than 4 months, which came out to be far under my originally planned budget. Juan had recommended specific environmentally friendly materials which I was slightly hesitant about at first although I’m so glad I took his recommendations. The final outcome is absolutely gorgeous. I’ve received many compliments from friends and colleagues about the contemporary, yet charming design my home has. I felt Juan was more than an Architect, he’s an excellent project manager and beyond. Juan was there from start to finish, even while construction was taking place, on the job site giving very specific direction for his ‘vision.’ I’ve found Juan to be extremely knowledgable, experienced and it’s obvious his top priority is making sure the client is happy. I’ve since referred my colleague who has a home in Ventura and it seems his experience is just as positive as mine was. Juan has by far exceeded my expectations and deserves 10 stars in my book. JMG Design is just that good!
