Dr. Lee is a very knowledgeable, funny and personable doctor. He takes the time to explain things, and I completely trust him with my eye care. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Only went there for the 4 — ½ stars Unilocal review. Seemed efficient but when it got busy, the optician and the support sales kept breaking away answering phone calls or walk ins. Quite annoying. For paying $ 400 (after insurance), I wished for more service. Hopefully my glasses will arrive on time and be perfect and when that happens, I may update.

Dr. Albert Lee has such a calm and soothing demeanor. He is so friendly, he makes me feel very comfortable. He understood my concerns and addressed them accordingly. He makes me want to return.

Most precisely well fitting RGP lens prescription & stigmatism correction — previously tried other optometrists but his has been the best. Very perceptive, excellent business acumen and client service. I’m a health freak and only choose the best ones in town — this is the one for eyes.

Doctor Albert Lee is truely the best. and such a life saver! My eye started feeling sandy about 2 days ago and that worried the hell out me. When I called in the morning, they gave me an appoint in about an hour. Their staff are all funny and nice. Doctor Lee was very patient yet down to the point. We went through a thorough eye exam upon my consent and finally Dr. Lee found a tiny foreign object stuck on my inner eyelid. I had my friends look into my eyeball and eyelids before. trust me it’s not visible. The particle is so small that only after a drop and under a scope did Dr. Lee spotted it and removed it. It was such a relief! From now on, I will only go to Dr. Lee for my future eye exams… been wearing glasses for over 10 years and Dr. Lee truly impressed me more than anyone else.

Dr. Lee is amazing. He has an incredible energy about him and makes you feel comfortable right away. He’s there to make sure you get exactly what you need and he’ll make sure you get it. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Lee. GO GO GO!!!

Dr. Lee is great. I get in and out of there in good time and even though I started going there because it was convenient to my office location, I still make the trek over to see him even after moving out of the FiDi. He is friendly, attentive and thorough. I really do appreciate the great service.

This doctor has miswritten my prescription 3 times now. I have to check each time he writes it down. Plus its the own doctor’s office that seems to always have a long wait w/​an appointment. People can’t sit around for 30 minutes in the middle of the workday b/​c Al can’t manage his schedule.

Dr. Lee saved me HUNDREDS of dollars and was super pleasant and funny and professional throughout. Recap: I was calling eye drs because of a bump from a stye that had not gone away. I had called several, and all demanded that I get a full eye exam ($ 300 average) before any analysis of the bump, with suggestions of price for the removal of the bump anywhere from $ 500 to $ 1000, with very little clarity on what would affect the price. My vision is not a problem, and the bump has not affected it – I could not believe all of these Drs demanded the full exam and high payment that goes along with it BEFORE they even looked at the bump. (Seriously, if you went to your GP with an ingrown toe nail, and they gave you a head to toe general physical and charged you for it, wouldn’t you slaughter them on Unilocal?)
Dr. Lee listened to my issues, and then talked me through better care for my eye bump, so that it might just go away. He told me to call him back if his plan of action did not work, and then he would refer me to an ophthalmologist and I would not have to pay for the exam. True to his word, when I called him back, we discussed the situation and he referred me to a Dr. in SF who tells me he can do my «bumpectomy» without the unnecessary eye exam and gave me a much clearer range of possible prices (depending on what he finds).
Awesome to find a Dr. who actually listens to what you say and need and who will work with you.

Seeing Dr. Lee was awesome. He was one of the nicest, explanatory, and pleasant doctors I’ve ever seen.

Great service. I called in the morning because I was having a crisis, and they told me to come in 10 minutes (which was way too soon for me!).
Dr. Albert Lee is super friendly, a bit silly — which only makes your visit that much more pleasant. He likes to explain every procedure or checkup that he is doing, in non-​technical language that us regulars can easily understand. Sort of like watching Bill Nye the Science Guy. He found my problem right away, explained the cause, offered me alternative solutions, and even made personal conversation along the way.
It seems like he really cares about you. He asked me to come back in a week to check up on my progress, and gave me free samples. Would definitely recommend for minor checkups and irritations.

I have my first appointment here today, so far the office staff has been very very kind and excellent. Great location super close to my office, and Dr. Lee comes highly recommended by a co-​worker. I’ll update after my appointment this afternoon. Gotta love a place that lets you make same day appointments.

Dr. Lee is the Managing Optometrist for Eyexam of California, Inc. which is located inside the Lenscrafters on Pine and Battery. I went in for my yearly eye exam and was lucky to have Dr. Lee who was a very competent optometrist. Dr. Lee was very friendly and thorough in his examination. He answered all my questions and explained carefully every step of the examination. I ended up learning quite a bit about optic nerves. The experience was quick and painless and I am thrilled to have found a good eye doctor across the street from my office!
