I recently received the best haircut of my life from Travis! I have had long hair my whole life and I was so ready for a change. I went to Travis, explained that I was in a serious rut with my hair and badly needed a change. He replied, «well, I’ll make you look cute!» And he did! I walked out with my head high and a huge grin on my face! My pixie cut looks and feels fantastic and I can’t even tell you how many people have complemented me on my new ‘do! Client for life!

Ducky and Giana are the absolute best! the both did my wedding hair and make up & it was everything i wanted and dreamt of and much much more. they are wonderful. for my trial giana literally sat there for like 2 hours!!! until we found something i liked. i ended up in tears… :) although my bridesmaids complained alot about her and not one of them liked their hair do’s i loved mine.
Ducky i have used previously for make up on our family shoots, she first did my make up on my sons newborn pictures and made me feel gorgeous and boosted my self esteem during a period of time where i didnt feel so hot. she always does bring the best of my features and she knows well how to do so. i absolutely love her she is the sweetest soul ever.

I’m new to town and made an appt at D&Q. Didn’t ask for a specific stylist since I didn’t have a recommendation. My stylist was very friendly, but I left with a haircut that was not what I wanted. I waited it out for a few weeks to see if the shape would improve, but was still dissatisfied with the results. I called and asked to speak with a manager, and was told he was not in, but would call me back. The next morning Travis called and was very gracious in booking me an appt that day, with him, to fix the shape of my hair. Honestly, customer service doesn’t get any better than this. He was fast and efficient and I am much happier with the outcome.

I have had Travis style my hair multiple times. I have struggled for years trying to get stylists to understand what I mean by John Waters’ height on my hair. After I was on the Barber side to get my sides shaved up, Travis pomped my hair like I have never had it done. I walked out and felt like I was floating on air. Then I had trouble getting in my car because my hair was so high. When I looked in the mirror when I got home, it was like seeing myself for the first time. I adore Travis and I’ve never seen someone leave his chair with bad color or cut. Everyone looks just wonderful.

Christine did my hair cut and I am not happy with the result, this just taught me to be more specific with what I ask for when getting my hair cut, I talked to Travis (owner) about it and he gave me a refund (thank you).
If you have a basic haircut go here, complementary drinks are given as a good part of the service. If you want more stylish and complicated hair cuts (as Travis suggested me) go somewhere else.

I have been seeing Kiani for over a year now and she has always been accomadating to my needs and gets the job done! A job well done at that.
We all love a sweet hairdresser that knows what they are doing and most importantly, one who cares about their clients’ wants! Great atmosphere, attention to detail, and BEVERAGES! I can only speak to the Daredevil side, but the hairdressers always listen and execute my wishes. The service is what I expect of an older era barber shop with all the amenities, plus some. Not stodgy or uptight.

I have had the pleasure of having my makeup done by Ducky. She did three vastly different looks for a photoshoot, and all three looked magical and perfectly evoked the themes requested. While she made me look totally different in each look, she did not make me feel unlike myself or make me look like I was hiding behind makeup; while it’s no easy task, she somehow simply made me feel like an improved version of myself. Not only did she prove to be incredibly talented, she was also very sweet and fun to be around. I look forward to having her do my makeup again, and recommend her to anybody in the area.

I have had my lash extensions done by the beautiful and kind Ducky Rickman. Not only does she do a superb job at giving me fluttery eyelashes but she is a woman of many talents and skill. I have also had her apply makeup on me before and I always love how knowledgeable she is and how she walks you through each step. You can tell she really cares about the people she gets to work with. It’s always a pleasure!
I highly recommend Ducky for all your lash, makeup, and hair styling needs.

Love this place! I’ve tried several barber shops that do straight razor shaves (yes on the face not the head) and I never went back to them…
A friend suggested I try Daredevils, so I called and made an appointment for myself and my daughter yesterday. My daughter hates haircuts, even trims… Kiani was fabulous with her! Now she’s saying she wants to go back to her for her next haircut/​trim :-)
I saw Karen, she did a super job on my haircut but won me over with the shave. Never heard or seen the Hugh Jackman Wolverine beard and did a great job on first try! Best part was she didn’t nick me, not even once! Kept checking in to make sure she was on the right track with what I wanted and super attentive. Awesome atmosphere too! My barbershop search is over! I’m definitely going back.

Been coming here since October of 2014 and so far been very impressed with this place and escpecially the quality of work done by Kiani. She’s friendly, knowledgeable, good experience and very accommodating to any of my needs.
The location is downtown Santa Rosa near railroad square. Haven’t had any issues with parking so far. The inside is full of natural light, comfy chairs with a urban, modern feel. Mixed music. Mostly reggae, which is fine by me.

I have been coming to have my hair cut by Kiani here for about 6 months now and she does an amazing job! Every month I bring her a new, random style I want to try and she always makes it work and look great!
The salon itself has a cool vibe, with some good, eclectic music selections. Always a fun atmosphere to hang out in for a bit while my hairs being done.
I highly recommend Kiani!

The atmosphere certainly is a mix of old and new school. the barbershop is set up incredibly. They did not hold back when it came to the environment for this place. Original style barber chairs and mirrors. In the salon there are big mirrors from floor to ceiling leaning against the wall. They always switch out art featuring local artists. Everyone is welcoming. The clientele is of all ages, shapes, colors, sizes and styles. Your stylist will be charming and seasoned. This isn’t a super cuts, you will get what you pay for! They are incredible. It’s good to treat yourself once in awhile, and why not do it at a clean and uplifting place where you will be treated like a queen.

This is a review for Ducky Rickman who does eyelash extensions at Daredevils & Queens. If you’re looking to get a new set of lashes or fill your current set, go to Ducky! She’s extremely skilled, thorough, and reasonably priced. I always leave with the prettiest lashes.

Kyle Corbin is the absolute best. I needed a very last minute freshen up, and even though the shop had just closed, he still squeezed me in.
I wanted a pretty dramatic change from my existing cut, and told him what I had in mind… Twenty minutes later, BAM!
It was exactly what I had pictured in my head and one of the best cuts I’ve ever had. I usually cut my own hair, as I am a perfectionist, but I can honestly say that this cut was perfect. Thanks Kyle!

I don’t know if it was because I had a gift certificate, but my haircut felt rushed. There wasn’t as much effort put in as previous times. I even went home and did some trimming and evening on my own.
I’ve just moved to Marin so I’m on the hunt for a good salon down here, that hopefully won’t charge $ 100+ for a haircut.
