Dr. Marcus has specialized in the field of Cosmetic Plastic Surgery of the Face and Body for 27 years. Alll surgery and laser procedures are performed in our private and fully certified surgical suite. Dr. Marcus has an impeccible reputation in his field. He is known for natural results, a gentle touch, an artistic eye and a caring, supportive and friendly demeanor. Dr. Marcus was born and raised in the Midwest where he also attended undergraduate and medical school. He received his Plastic Surgery training in the Detroit area under the direction of Dr. Robert Pool, renowned innovator and author in the plastic surgery field.

After completing his extensive training, Dr. Marcus moved to Santa Rosa in 1986 to begin his Cosmetic Plastic Surgery practice. Throughout his years in practice, Dr. Marcus has continued to advance his skills and knowledge, and uses all the latest techniques and state-​of-​the-​art equipment in his surgical practice. Dr. Marcus specializes in facelifts, breast enhancement and body sculpting, and is well-​known for his «natural-​looking» results.

Dr. Marcus is married and has three young adult sons.

I have been going to Dr. Marcus for over 15 years. I referred my mother and three friends to him as well. All of us had superb results with our surgeries, which included eye, laser and liposuction procedures. Dr. Marcus is an outstanding Board Certified surgeon who delivers natural and lasting results.
Further, Dr. Marcus does not do anything unless he feels it will really deliver for the patient. I have consulted with him to have a brow lift and lower face lift. He has recommended against these costly surgeries, clearly explaining why I am not a good candidate and suggesting other cheaper and actually much more effective treatments. I trust this doctor. He is the real deal.

I had a very discouraging visit… I was basically told that I am too fat and his office could not work with me. It made me feel very self conscious and ashamed of my body. I sat in the waiting room for 20 minutes past my scheduled consultation time and the staff didn’t seem to take notice of my presence. So if you like being ignored or shamed for your body then you’ll love it here!

I don’t think I have ever written a review but I am guilty of relying on other people’s reviews. I was searching for a recommended plastic surgeon and came across this. I’m so glad I did. I went in for a free consultation. I did not have to look further. Dr. Marcus is the best! He answered every stupid question I had. Pricing is great. Days before my surgery I changed my mind on the size of my implants. Not a problem. He even let me borrow samples so that I would be 100% happy with my choice. After surgery, his staff called me everyday for a week to check up on me. He does several post ops to ensure that you are healing properly. I am 1000% happy with my surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Marcus

I absolutely love Dr. Marcus and ALL his staff!!! So much so that I brought them all a Christmas gift basket of goodies! Everyone in the office is extremely nice & professional but at the same time they truly care about you and treat you as family. Dr. Marcus has done a few procedures for me over the past 10 yrs and not only is he amazing at easing my fears but he’s not worried to tell me NO if what I’m asking for is beyond ridiculous.
I would recommend all my friends and family to him. He’s an amazing doctor and an amazing person! I absolutely love Dr. Marcus and his entire staff!!!

Dr. Marcus is an artist. I know people that regret not choosing him for their Tummy Tuck. From the date of the consultation to working with his staff to the actual day of surgery and follow up there isn’t anything I can give him less then 5 stars. His bedside manner was why I chose him. I had gotten four other consultations from other surgeons in town that my friends have used including him. His bedside manner beat everyone else. He answered all my questions before the surgery and he’s continued to answer all my questions after. Both at my pre op and post op appointment he answers all my annoying questions when he gets via texts he responds so I know I am doing the right thing. The aftercare has been great, the first week someone called from the office everyday and I got a personal text from him as well. I think the time that he has spent with me has gone well over what my expectations were just from the constant communication and the access to him. Other types of surgeries and doctors have never been like that I don’t know if this is the norm or if it’s just him but I felt very spoiled and like I was the only patient he had. Once surgery day came I was able to deal with the fact that my body was going to change and the first person I had a chance to talk to you was the nurse and the anesthesiologist. The anesthesiologist was so calming and interested in how I was feeling, he gave me the utmost attention. When I woke up both the anesthesiologist and Dr Marcus were there to answer any questions I had as well as work with my husband who is in the waiting room and tell him what my aftercare would be like. My stomach is feeling pretty perfect based off of my 20 years of research. The scar looks good and overall I am very happy with how I look. I’m looking forward to a year from now to see the full result. I would recommend Dr Marcus to anybody because I think not only will his service and his product is attention to detail beat anyone else around I think that his whole team is worth going to.

Beautiful clean office. I came here the first time due to recently moving into the area for Botox. I have been receiving Botox for seven years. I had to sign a release in the beginning stating that droopy eye is a possible side effect but since I’ve been receiving Botox for seven years I did not think it would happen to me. Nancy is very nice person but I will not return. I asked for Botox around the eyes only and she convinced me to get my forehead as well. I woke up the next morning with a droopy right due to the forehead injections that she convinced me to receive. And continued for three months after I received the treatment. Nancy provided me with prescription eyedrops that stung my eye and did not make it better. I do not recommend going here for Botox. Front desk lady was OK slightly snarky. Two stars for a beautiful office and Nancy responded very quickly to my concern via text. She needs more training on how to appropriately inject Botox above the eyebrow. It was a horrible experience having given them $ 500 and waking up every morning for three months with a swollen right eye.

I did not have any work by Dr. Marcus but did go to see him as one of my interviews for some work I wanted done. I liked him a lot but did not choose him. However, I felt the need to write because when I told him I was going to interview other doctors about my procedure, he asked me who I was going to see and said he just wanted to make sure I was seeing reputable Plastic Surgeons. When I told him who I was going to see he told me they were good too. Wow, what doctor does that. This man is honest.

Dr. Marcus and his staff are very professional. I felt comfortable the whole time and he gave me very honest opinions about what size I was able to go for my breast augmentation. I am 2 days post op and so far very pleased with the results. There were 3 people in the operating room and the procedure went flawlessly. The anesthesiologist was very comforting and kind of funny. I definitely recommend Dr. Marcus and his team. Thank You so much for everything!

Dr. Marcus is the most honest and decent Dr. one could hope to meet. He has a wonderful staff. I saw Nancy and had restalyne silk and botox, she was extremely professional and knowledgable. I also saw Nikki who used the Venus machine

I can’t say enough about how amazing my experience with Dr. Marcus has been. I had abdominoplasty with liposuction and I am so pleased with the results. Dr. Marcus was so informative and confident when explaining the procedure and exactly what he thought I would need to get the best results. I felt so taken care of from the entire staff from the minute I walked in. Vianna was so friendly and welcoming and helped me get prepared for the surgery so I had no worries going into the procedure. I left feeling like part of the family. The night before my surgery Dr. Heifetz, the Anesthesiologist called me to make sure I was all ready to go for the morning and calmed my nerves. Dr. Marcus made sure that every little concern was met and completely exceeded my expectations. His talent shown through in how amazingly he was able to contour my figure and transform me into exactly what I wanted. My after care was also exceptional. Dr. Marcus truly cares about his patients. I have recommended him to many friends and they have also had wonderful experiences with him and his staff. If you are considering any cosmetic procedure I suggest you meet Dr. Marcus and once you do, you will immediately know exactly what I’m talking about.

What a great experience in this office !! Upon arriving the first thing you notice is the cleanliness. The office is very warm and inviting. The office staff is very friendly when arriving, I had my appointment with Nancy who gave me different options for treatment, I ended up getting juvederm. I wanted to get botox however Nancy didn’t feel I needed it quite yet. I had juvederm injections in my lips done by Nancy who was wonderful !!! very professional, kind and gentle. There was absolutely no high presure sales here Nancy did not try to sell me something I didn’t need. I was shocked !! awsome !! Very honest. I love to say is is very sweet (smile). Thank you everyone xoxo. I have another consult set up for a tummy tuck which I’m very exciting about and am anticipating a great job. THANKS AGAIN !!! P. S. Cannot say enough GREAT things about this office, from the time you enter and the front office, the staff greets you to Sabrina and Dr. Marcus himself! LOVE LOVE LOVE them. My family has gone here for different reasons over the years and always have had a great experience. I just saw Sabrina for some Botox and I am so happy I can not wait to have the filler under my eyes. I don’t look like I have had Botox, I look natural and isn’t that what we all want?

I had the most horrible experience with this Dr. Upon meeting with him for a consultation for breast surgery, he was cold, aloof and rude to me. He made a quick assumption after talking with me for 5 minutes, saying that I «wanted too much of a high-​profile look» (which was not even true). He then told me that he did not feel a good connection with me as a patient and he didn’t think it was a good idea to proceed. I cried after leaving the office and was devastated but also utterly confused. I got my surgery done by the best in town, PSA, and am so happy with my results so it all worked out but wow! Never been treated like that!

I first went to Dr Marcus in July 2011, might I add he was my 3rd surgeon I had visited to have my procedure! He was the only Doctor who treated me like a person and not like a paycheck! He was very straight up about his worries for the outcome of my procedure… Me being a tiny frame of 108lbs wanting my perfect rack & flat tummy back after my baby! So he only suggested what would fit me best and be more real to the touch not what would fill his pockets more! We did the implant surgery, Sept 27th 2011 (my X-​husbands birthday. The Date couldn’t have been more perfect!) the surgery went down early morning and i was out by noon! gave me the right meds for my smooth recovery and barely any bruising! I recovered and was back in the gym working out again after 3 – 4 weeks of being waiting on hand n foot! ;)
Dr Marcus was there for anything i needed, personal cell number, all the girls in the office are always super sweet and always concerned of my needs! Its been over a year since my surgery and I’m still in love with what he has done! I write this review a year later because of the no brain-​er bad review left… A Dr that has been practicing his trade for a long time without any crazy marketing is doing it right & if you go else where your the one who waste your Money!
