After over two and half years going to Dr. Guest, my opinion has only gotten worse. On the day my braces were removed, it was the usual rush and chaos. An assistant I had never met, put in my permanent lower retainer without introduction. This procedure seems too important to pawn off on a new assistant. The buffing off of the old glue was horribly painful, no warning. When I went back for my retainers the next week, I had mixed opinions as to when and how long to wear them. The new orthodontist in the office gave me a condescending lecture on how to wear them and 10 minutes into her rant, she was told I had a permanent lower retainer and then she tried to back peddle. I still don’t know what I am supposed to do. Of course, Dr. Guest was on another month long vacation and no one seemed to know what to do. This experience has been a nightmare. I will have to find another orthodontist for the retention phase, this will no doubt be expensive, but I cannot go back to this office. He also had the nerve to give me a bad time about my last Unilocal review. Since he was up to his elbows in my mouth, I could not defend myself. His office had cancelled yet another appointment at 4 p.m. the day before my appointment. It takes me weeks to get time off and they require 48 hours notice for a cancellation. Obviously, their time is more important than mine. I don’t know why anyone would consider this office for orthodontic care. Zero stars.

When I was in care with what I refer to as my nightmare orthodontist, I came to Mr Guest to transfer. He denied my care. Turns out the orthodontist I was seeing used to work for him.
I think it is shame how these orthodontists are more concerned about their own reputation than the care of a patient.

Every time I go into Dr. Guest’s office it’s such a positive and welcoming atmosphere. I actually looked forward to going in for my routine checkup for my braces. Even when I was in a bad mood it was such a relief going in to see Dr. Guest. Everyone who works there (EVERYONE) is so friendly and funny and they always remember me when I go in. I was actually kind of bummed when I had to get my braces off, knowing that I wouldn’t be able to go see everyone in the office as often! Not to mention the amazing orthodontic work that was performed on my sister and me. Dr. Guest is so thorough in his work and always kept me updated on what he was doing and why he was doing it. The result was an awesome smile! I HIGHLY recommend Doctor Don Guest to anyone and everyone who is looking for a great orthodontist.

I can’t say enough good things about this office and everyone who works here! I just got off my second pair of braces earlier this month, 15 years after I got my first set on, at age 9 (my complex issues required both sets).
The office itself hasn’t changed much from when I was a kid, with a giant shark (wearing braces, of course) suspended on the wall between the waiting room and the sinks. There is a huge mural of a tropical sea on one wall, and the light covers have hot air balloons and animals on them (since, ya know, you’re reclined and looking up and all).
Every one of the office staff is really very sweet, will chat you up about what’s going on in your and their lives, remember you from visit to visit (and even ten years later).
Dr. Guest himself was very patient with my availability, given that I spent a year of my braces treatments in Boston, arranging for me to see an orthodontist there for adjustments (free to me).
Not really sure what else would be relevant information, but I couldn’t recommend them more.

I started seeing Dr. Guest when I was 7 years old. He treated me and both of my sisters. His staff was friendly (almost all of the time– which is why 1 star is taken off) and he was very warm and caring. I remember they had at least a dozen different flavors for your impression materials and would decorate your brackets and retainers however you wanted. I’m now getting into the dental industry and can confidently say that Dr. Guest is one of the best!
