I’ve gone through a number of house cleaners since I bought my house. I have been very disappointed until I found Starla and her daughter Drea! The system Starla uses works perfect for me – 2 hours and I let them know what is important. For me, I have allergies to dust and I have a cat and dog. When I mentioned I had been sick a lot lately, Starla said I may also have issues with strong cleaning chemicals (she uses natural products in my house). Well, all I can say is ever since they started cleaning my house I have felt so much better!
As to the cleaning itself, they do a wonderful job. Animal hair – no problem. Dust – no problem. Kitchen and bathroom fresh and clean. They have no issues working around both my dog and cat (dog is terrified of the vacuum). And not only do they do a wonderful job cleaning, but they are always upbeat and friendly. I telecommute from home so its nice to have people in my house with ‘good energy’.

Starla was so helpful when I called at the last minute after another person had canceled on me to help with cleaning my house before an event. She was so pleasant to talk to and shifted around her schedule to help during the one time slot I had for her to come. She asked me on the phone if there was any special products I wanted used — she stocks all her own supplies) and when I mentioned I preferred stuff without strong fragrances, she said I was not alone among her Sebastopol clients and brought an array of nice Mrs. Meyers stuff she was trying out. She brought her daughter and they were both professional and cheerful, tackling the job goodnaturedly. Their hourly rate is reasonable. My house took a long time (5 hours) but Starla gave me the option to instead set a number of hours (like 2) for them to spend and just let them know my priorities. The house looks great.

I finally got over my denial and admitted that I needed help with this house.
Brenda and Starla did an excellent job. They even got to my secret hidden areas of shameful dirt, LOL! What a relief. They were here all day pretty much. They turned this place upside down, shook it, and turned it right side up again. My house is beautifully clean now. It even smells lovely and my sinuses can tell the difference because there is no dust anywhere. My bathroom is now flawless, laundry room, kitchen, everywhere. Happy happy.
They tell me they also do special projects like garage organizing, cleanup after parties, painting prep, windows, just about anything involving cleaning and bringing order.
They also will do regular maintenance cleaning, but I hope I can keep up with that myself.
