Dr Hollander is «great»!!!
He’s a great doctor that’s very easy to talk to and explains everything very well so you understand what’s going on and why. He’s helped me with my plantar fasciitis and he helped me to finally get rid of my toe nail fungus between his laser treatments and medicine.
His staff is great too!!! They are always friendly and very helpful too.
I highly recommend his services to everyone that has any foot problems. Plus he has a foot spa too which I’m going to try too.

I was very uncomfortable in this office. It was all about how many things can we charge you for that you don’t need. I would rather a doctor focus on his relationship with his patient, and not worry about where his patients get their pedicure (because the office gives pedicures???) just very weird.

I had a long time ankle and tendon problem that was impacting my knee to the point of near immobility. Dr. Hollander was the first to take several X-​rays and explain the dynamics of the issue and why previous approaches, including my self-​designed stretching, had not worked. He takes things one step at a time and evaluates the results and discusses what next steps may include. Getting an appointment was easy and quick. The office is accessible. This practice provides true patient-​centered care.

Had a toe infection and was fit in that day! He saw my toe, gave me my options, then was able to perform a minor operation to fix the situation. When I called with questions after the fact they got back to me very quickly! And my toe healed perfectly and I’ve had no problems with it since! Dr. Hollander and the staff are also very friendly and easy to work with.

Walked in for some advice on my toenail which had become disconnected from the toe. The doctor came in, tapped it a couple times and told me it’d fall off in a few months.
I was charged upwards of $ 140 for this.

I’m very happy that two years ago my doctor referred me to Dr. Hollander. I work in retail and from time to time I wear the wrong shoes at work or accidentally stomp on a stamp. Whatever I stupidly do to my feet Dr. Hollander always sets me up with the right treatment. I recommended anyone having foot problems go see Dr. Hollander.

What a personable, knowledgeable and funny doc! He and his staff are top notch! He fit my husband and son with custom orthotics and they are working out great. He put my son at ease and made us feel like friends. Only small complaint would be the wait time. But, that’s typical of doctors offices and it shows that he’s not rushing through his appointments. He truly takes the time to get to know you and your needs. Highly recommend!!! :)

My first visit to Dr. Hollander exceeded my expectations. His staff immediately fit me into an appointment because of the amount of pain I was in. When I arrived everyone of his staff was very professional and attentive. Then in comes Dr. Hollander. He listened to me and immediately took x-​rays and we got right down to the root of the problem. He administered a shot and had me walking out of his office feeling like a million bucks. I cannot stress what a great experience I had from booking the appointment to being seen by Dr. Hollander. Hands down a great experience considering my pain I was in.

Dr. Hollander and his staff are top notch; professional, caring and knowledgable. After dealing with toenail issues for several years, Dr. Hollander did a series of 3 laser treatments and I consider myself a success story. My treatment was not covered by insurance but it was worth every penny. I highly recommend him to anyone who is in need of a great podiatrist!

I was experiencing some issues with my hip and my chiropractor suggested I see a podiatrist and perhaps get some orthotics. apptment with Dr. Hollander was a complete waste of time and money, He totally dismissed my explanation of the hip issues, wouldn’t consider orthotics, NEVER even looked at my feet and told me he THOT the problem was that one leg was longer than the other (this, without measuring my kegs or even examining them!) and sold me 2 pieces of foam heel fits for $ 20. that was it! needless to say I will not be returning.

I would highly recommend Dr. Hollander and Team! Top to bottom, everyone is helpful and interested in making your visit as comfortable and helpful as possible. Dr. Hollander himself with also generous with his time and expertise. Helped my foot problem by explaining clearly what the treatment was and how it would be helpful. Voila! Much relief. Very grateful for their collective help.

I injured a toe about 3 years ago. Since then I’ve seen the head of Kaiser Podiatry, 2 chiropractors, an acupuncturist, a naturopath, a foot massage specialist, and others — but no one has been able to explain what is wrong with my foot and give me a plan to correct it. I am very active so I miss running and doing zumba — both of which have been difficult, if not impossible, with my foot pain.
Today I met with Dr. Hollander and in 30 minutes he explained and «demonstrated» my issue (which is a pretty sizable neuroma) and gave me a detailed path of options of how to address it. There is no immediately cure, of course, but now I feel that I am in good hands and have a course of action.
I wish I had found him 3 years ago!

The day I walked into Dr. Hollander’s office is one of the best days I’ve had in years. I had a toe that got infected, and over the last several years, I saw three other podiatrists who were unable to heal it. I wasn’t able to swim either, which is one of my favorite things in life.
On my first appointment Dr. Hollander healed my toe, and I’m now back swimming laps with a huge smile. For me, I feel he is a «miracle worker», and I mean this with all my heart! He is thoughtful, gentle, caring and fun, too.
All of the staff, from Jesus to Christy and everyone else, are friendly and very helpful. I trust that you, too, will be happy when you see Dr. Hollander for your foot problems.

His knowledge of the different treatment options and how he keeps up on current information made me feel very informed so I could make a decision.

If you are looking for a GREAT podiatrist, he is your man! I went to him as a second opinion and not only found him to be extremely competent but very personable. He is excellent in EVERY way and I cant say enough good things about him.

If you have a foot/​ankle problem Dr. Hollander is your guy. He saved my husband’s toe, literally saved it. And the sweetest guy. In fact his whole staff is kind friendly and go out of their way to help. Thanks you guys. You’re the best.

He is one of the best doctors I’ve seen since moving to Santa Rosa. I called him with a hang nail and in a lot of pain. He took me a couple hours later. He was very gentle. He removed part of the nail with expertise. He made me very comfortable. I’m very happy and feel better.

My visit to Dr. Hollander’s office today was worthy of my coming on here and giving him 5 stars. Frankly, I don’t write reviews unless inspired by truly exceptional or horrible experiences. This was truly exceptional.
I had an unidentifiable thing on my foot that I’d spent weeks self diagnosing online. I was pretty convinced that I had something bad going on… so I was a bit nervous about getting it checked out.
From the first contact w/​Jesus on the phone until I paid with cash (uninsured… but not for long… thanks gov) everyone was kind, patient and helpful. They offered a few ways to register as a new patient and I actually filled out the online form on the way in. This beats the whole get there early thing to do paperwork. Being a former database business strategy guy I was impressed… though admittedly I don’t visit doctors often so perhaps this is not as special as I perceived it to be. :-)
The doctor was, for lack of better words, awesome. Bedside manner was calm and friendly. He listened and didn’t chastise me for the blatant crime of internet self diagnosis. He explained to me what he thought was going on and what he was going to do to address it. I honestly did not feel a thing as he used a scalpel on my foot. I have super sensitive feet. It blew my mind.
He offered an affordable solution to my issue but also discussed what the alternatives were. We scheduled a time to have the procedure and boom… I am set.
I am not experienced with foot issues. This was my first podiatry experience… so I don’t have a great baseline for comparison… but that being said, I can’t imagine how anyone could be better.
NOTE TO Unilocal: I read an article the other day about fake reviews being censored… and when I mentioned to the doctor that I was planning to give him a glowing review on Unilocal he told me about a previous patient who had been censored through this process. I just want you all to know — Unilocal and Unilocalers — that this is a case where the feedback is real — he’s that good. :-)
