I would and I DO recommend this firm. Prior to meeting Charlie, Rachel and the support staff, I had interviewed 2 other local law firms. I first called Charlie in 2011 about a MVA where I sustained intense injuries. It had been my hope to settle out of court, but as time went by it became clear that this was a far greater case than I could manage on my own and I needed legal counsel. The MVA (Motor Vehicle Accident) and my injuries were in 2009, that in itself was difficult as I had let so much time pass while I was doing all that I could in hope that I would eventually begin to recover. Charlie was very prompt in getting back to me (within 72 hours of my initial call). Unfortunately I was in terrible shape when we 1^st spoke. I was in shock-​trauma and even more pain. To my utter horror and disbelief I had had been rear ended A SECOND TIME days before Charlie returned my call to discuss the 1^st accident. I remember how frantic and confused I was as he calmly spoke to me. He was professional, prompt, caring, thorough and insightful to realize that I needed the care of Rachel given my fragile state. I had sustained a concussion and additional injuries from the 2^nd recent accident, as well as RE-​injury from the 1^st accident (just 16 months earlier). Good God, what a mess I had on my hands!
Having the care and trust in Rachel, and her team to assist in guiding me was a true blessing. They assisted with necessary medical guidance that I needed when I was unable to make clear decisions on my own and protected me to the full extent of the policies involved and the law.
I work in healthcare so I see many people after accidents and while they are recovering. I know how important it is to trust and be supported in an appropriate manner. YES, I was handed off to another attorney, but they work as a team. I never felt unimportant. Obviously my case, which suddenly became multiple challenging, very complicated cases demanded unbelievable attention to detail. All were handled professionally, plus I felt they cared about me. They all worked very hard long hours on my behalf. I was informed every step of the way as they patiently explained (repeatedly due to my concussions) the process as the cases progressed. They were always there to guide me. I was naïve about litigation before the accident in 2009, of course we all think attorneys make tons of money, BUT, when you work in healthcare as I do, and deal with insurances daily, you gain a clearer perspective of what their fights for us entail with the endless hours on all of our parts, to get through these difficult cases. Rachel, Charlie and the team gave their best to get me the maximum compensation for my injuries and future medical care. It has been years of daily pain, but I know and Trust that they fought very complex cases (simultaneously) and strategically for me and won all. One last thing… My family member and one of my character witnesses happens to also be an Insurance claims adjuster and represents National firms. After working with Rachel, he told me how very lucky I was to have had Rachel as my legal counsel and how hard he knew she worked for me. (He has worked with many attorneys and Insurance Co.) I smiled and said, «I KNOW» :) I hope I never need their services again, but if I did, I would not go anywhere else.

I would not recommend this law firm. They accepted a case and threw it back to me after a few months, with no explanation. Extremely unprofessional. On another case, they got us very little for my wife’s car accident which required spinal surgery. They were very poor in communicating with us and keeping us informed about the case, very late in arranging witnesses, etc. We were informed shortly before we had to go to trial of a twist in the law which would make us liable for the insurance company’s costs — it would have been nice to know about that at the get-​go. Altogether, a poor experience.

Used Charlie Cochran and Rachael Erickson’s firm on a case that’s finally ended and have to say that they were professional, communicative and strategic. The fact is that this firm got me 12−15x what I would have received had I continued trying to be my own advocate. If they take your case, they’re on your side, and I don’t think theres anybody better to have on your side.
