We bought a car stereo for our college daughter over the holidays. We called to make appointment to install and they worked us in on a busy schedule so that our daughter could leave for college 2 days after Christmas with as new stereo that was XM satellite capable since she had a long drive. Chris and his team worked quickly and professionally to make it work for us. Once installed they guarantee for lifetime of stereo the installation work. As she drove to college she noticed the heater vents did not work but could not come back to the area until now (spring break). We brought the car in to have a look. Once again no questions asked, looked at issue, helped us straighten out perfectly. 100% satisfied with service quality and professionalism of Kustom Kar Audio. Would recommend to anyone.

I came here a little over a month ago and the service was amazing! Although they could not fix what was wrong with my car, they went above and beyond and the whole shop was looking into the problem for me! Dealer wanted to charge me over $ 700 for a radio, and they wanted to do whatever they could to not have my pay that extreme price. Chris and his team really do the most for his customers! I would definitely come back and recommend to friends who live in the area!

Chris and the Crew have been nothing but fantastic. They know their stuff and are very accommodating. First they installed a booming system in my boyfriends car. He upgraded and passed down his tweeters to me when I had them install a whole setup in my acura. We couldn’t be happier with our systems and how great these guys have been. They spent hours tuning, and explaining what they did for us. They have been nothing but obliging and helpful. I had one issue when my car battery died and my stereo wouldn’t come back on and they were there when I called to help with trouble shooting. These guys have been nothing but helpful friends that we know are there for us!

Based on previous reviews, we expected better service. My mom and I came in looking for what the options were to replace an amp but the owner didn’t give much help. Due to my previous research, based on the model of the car, we are limited on options, but he acted like we should have already known that. We aren’t experts, we came to someone who is to try to get advice and give him our business if possible. Left with a bad taste in our mouths.

It’s been a while (A few months) since I went to Chris at Kustom Kar Audio but I wanted to write this review. I tend to use Unilocal for just reading reviews rather than writing them. Long story short, this place is awesome and deserves peoples business!
Kustom Kar Audio is great. Very helpful and friendly. I have a 2014 Ford F250 and I wanted something a little better than stock, but I don’t need $ 10K worth of sound. I didn’t know exactly what I wanted/​needed, nor did I know the price of what it was all going to cost. I went in there one afternoon, a little worried about getting screwed over on cost since this was my first audio system, but Chris spent the time with me to go over everything I wanted, explained it all to me, and at no point did I ever feel like I was being worked over on any part of the system. We decided on two 8″ JL subs in a JL box and a 600 watt amplifier. We scheduled my truck to be in the shop about a week later and just a few hours after being dropped off, I got the call saying it was all finished.
The truck sounds amazing. Everything about the install was top notch, from the wiring to the placement of the amp and subwoofer knob. I will be going back here for any more audio needs. Big thanks to Kustom Kar Audio!

Earlier this year I bought an amp and sub from Chris. He got me dialed, clean install, the thing slapped hard. I, being an idiot 28 year old, loved slapping poor-​poor quality tunes. A few months into my new system, I torched my amp and sub. Toasted. I didn’t realize user error was a thing with this kind of set-​up. I took it down to Chris and told him my story.
Chris laughed, I laughed nervously. (Like a knuckle head). He got me sorted and explained how I need to run richer, fuller quality audio. Basically by being cheap I caused myself a headache.
Chris was super cool, he sorted me out. Carved out some time and had me on my way in a few hours with replacement kit at zero cost. The service here is amazing, if I move down to the bay or something I’ll still take my whips to Chris. If you go see Chris, don’t be a Jerk and he’ll sort you out!

Kustom Kar Audio is a rare gem of a business that truly goes out of their way to ensure customer satisfaction. After a year of driving around with a couple 12″ subs and an upgraded deck, I decided it was time to finish the job and upgrade the cab speakers. Chris was happy to oblige.
We spent several hours over multiple days working out different scenarios before finally deciding on the best option for my budget and vehicle.
Come install time, once all the doors were deadened, amp installed, and speakers in place, Chris let me know that the system wasn’t performing up to his standards. The stock speaker locations for my car were creating major sinkholes in sound.
Most shops would’ve said tough luck man, it’s your car, we did our part, but not Chris. He spent several days working on the issue. Unfortunately for me, a few costly repair bills suddenly came up, so I decided to trade my car in for something newer.
Not a problem said Chris! Kustom took everything out and installed it all into my new car, which happens to have much better stock speaker placements, and it sounds INCREDIBLE… even without EQ. We spent a couple hours listening to various music for tuning and to check for rattles. A minor rattle was found… and fixed on the spot.
I’ve spent a good amount of time hanging out around this shop and the crew really care about their work. Whether you are adding an aux/​ipod/​iPhone cable, upgrading your deck, or going all out… Kustom, you receive the same treatment you would as a customer spending considerable amounts of money.

Love the entire Kustom Kar crew. These guys took care of a remote starter system first in my truck and then in my van. I had very specific requirements for my system and they took care of all of them from start to finish. Love coming in and shooting the shit, great people all around. Highly recommend.

Awesome service, super friendly staff, and a great price. I went in looking to get something decent for my car, and they set me up with way more than I figured I would be able to get, did an awesome job in way less time than I thought it was going to be, and helped me learn all the odd commands and input to get the best results out of my new equipment. I walked in on Wednesday about noon, and Chris was helping someone else, but just listening to how he treated potential customers when he said hi I told him what I had in mind, and he came out, and checked out my car. We went back he showed me some speakers, and an amp, and gave me a ballpark figure. We shook hands he took my car into the shop, and then him, and Joe opened the trunk and before my eyes they was at work. Chris even offered me a ride home if I needed it! Now we’re talking first class operation. I went back around 5 PM they were just about done, and the price was a little under his quote, and I drove out a happy customer. So if you’re looking for a great place to put sounds in your ride this is the place! Chris & Joe know how to make your car sound as good as it looks

I wandered in on a Saturday afternoon to ask about subwoofer/​enclosure prices. Chris was finishing up with a boy and his dad who were asking about a future project. I listened to how Chris was talking to them, and it struck a happy chord with me. When they were finished, I was intimidated and was about the leave because of all the high-​end components in the showroom due to my extremely limited budget. All I was there to do was find out if he had any clearance items. He asked me a few questions, and within minutes he was test-​fitting an enclosure/​sub in my trunk. We talked about what amp I would need, and the install kit (I was doing the work myself). I was shocked that he would spend the time to work with my budget and find me exactly what I wanted. He even opened the amp and pre-​set it for me based on what set up I was using, and then invited me back after I installed it to «fine tune» the amp for me.
In the day and age where «small businesses» have to struggle against «online retailers and big-​box stores», it is SO refreshing to receive OUTSTANDING customer service any more. You ALL know what I am talking about. The whole CUSTOMER SERVICE concept seems to be non-​existent these days.

Couldn’t be happier! Just had speakers a sub and amp installed in my car today and I am blown away at how great the entire experience at kustom karr was. The level of service was incredible; Chris was super patient and informative with me, worked with my budget and gave me all kinds of options to choose from. Walking into a shop as a woman I almost expected to be pressured and in over my head, I at no point felt like that.
We decided on a system and to my surprise they were able to install it right away.
This whole process was so painless and the sound in my car is so priceless I’d recommend this business to anyone in the market for car audio.

After talking about upgrading the sound system in my family’s ’98 Subaru Outback for months, my parents finally okayed the upgrade. I had talked about it that day with my mom and that afternoon she came here and Chris hooked us up! They were able to do it that day! This was all done as a surprise for me and I couldn’t be happier. It was done for around $ 300 including installation which isn’t bad considering how much better the sound quality was after they installed it.
The receiver itself is easy to use but Chris had me come down to show me how to adjust the settings and set it up. It was so nice of him to do that, he really wanted to make sure we knew how to use it and wasn’t satisfied until we had covered everything. The receiver comes with an instruction booklet but it was great to have Chris go the extra mile and teach us how to use it. I don’t think we would have gotten the same experience had we gone to Best Buy or some other place.
Kustom Kar has outstanding customer service and they will always try to accommodate not only your sound equipment needs, but your budget as well. They also have a lifetime warranty so if your system ever tweaks out they will fix it for you. A really great place with knowledgable staff and a commitment to quality sound and customer service.
