Apparently Ribs on Wheels has rolled on. Checked with some friends and nobody has seen it for a while. They were the best ribs in town

Tender is an understatement for their ribs. It’s a great a place to eat when it’s there but I feel like it’s a full moon. Rarely do you get it but when you do it’s worth the wait.

Best BBQ in north bay by far. Smell, taste, quality and quantity. Smells so good when you drive by and even better when you walk up. 15 minutes after getting our plate it was still warm. The ribs fell right off the bone, the links were juicy and flavorful, with a good burn, the sauce was perfect. Beans and potato salad perfect. Peach cobbler the best ever, actually happy we ordered 2. When you get your food all bagged up and pick it up, heavy because it’s full of food. Thank you very good. I shared with 4 people. I’ll be ba back.

This truck makes the best ribs. But, I have been by 4 times and he is gone.

Two stars for having decent bbq beans and a good attitude but the claim of having ribs so tender you don’t need teeth is wrong. There is nothing super tender about these ribs and it could use some seasoning, something as simple as salt and pepper. The prices are about right for the food but overall I just wasn’t that impressed

I am sorry BUT… There were some problems. First: very slow. Now yes there are times when ya gotta be slow cooking BBQ. But that requires the BBQ to be good. This was not. He was just slow. Strike 1 Second. Do not make a claim you don’t need teeth to eat their ribs. This is also fake. They were not tender. Strike 2 Third. I ordered a pull pork sandwich. Now the pork was meh no flavor. And it was on a hot dog bun. I am sorry. That is not okay. It should be on either a hamburger bun or a hoagy roll. STRIKE3. YOUROUT NOW it’s not all bad. The guy was nice and the beans were okay. But I wouldn’t go back. That’s the reason you got 2 stars. I will not be going back.

Drive by all the time and finally went in to try it, and I definitely regret not going sooner. Best BBQ in the area, really good home made sauce and peach cobbler. Tons of good food for a great price and incredibly friendly owner!

Don’t walk, run!!! This place is the best BBQ I have found north of Oakland, my home town. If you are from Oakland, you know Flints BBQ. That place went, sadly, out of business. I don’t know why. It was a late night Icon. We would line up for hours just to get their links, ribs, potatoe salad and sauce at 2AM. All served with an attitude and a slice of white bread. It was heaven! I’m so sick of knock off bar-b-q joints that serve corn bread and salad with a fru-fru smoked sauce. Just give me the real thing! I want meat the way southern folks make it for their family. That’s Ribs On Wheels. I’m so elated to find a real smoked meat place, with southern hospitality and charm. They make their plates like their making them for their own family. Huge portions with links that make your lips burn, only to be cooled by the creamy potatoe salad. Follow that with soft bread dipped in sauce. Ribs so moist, you could just let the meat disove in your mouth, I could die right now, satisfied!!! I spent the better part of 15 years looking for something that rivals Flints in Oakland. I have finally found it, in my own back yard. When it comes to comfort food and memories of true southern BBQ, this is it! THANKYOU Ribs On Wheels! You make me feel at home again. :) This is a big red truck parked in a parking lot on the north side of Sebastopol Rd. Between Stoney point and Dutton, look for the sign as you approach. Looks isolated, don’t be discouraged, they are ready to serve you delicious home made authentic southern BBQ.

Ordered a pulled pork sandwich and had my choice of 1 side from the lunch menu. The owner and chef pilled my sandwich high enough to leave me full with half. The meat is easily the best you can find in the city of santa rosa. It was melt in your mouth delicious with simple dressing. It can easily be shared with another person. My next trip out I am looking forward to the ribs!

Best BBQ in Sonoma County, Hands Down! Charles has the Customer Service down to a Tee … it’s a wonder he doesn’t have a brick & mortar that’s open 7 days a week. The only draw back is that he’s only slow smoking BBQ Thurs-Sun & only takes cash. What’s a bruddah to do when he starts to crave«ribs so tender, you don’t need teeth to eat them» to accompany Monday Night Football or a mid week, Wednesday/Thursday fix? Leave them wanting more. Nice Job, Mr. Williams, truely!

I drive by this place daily and have always wanted to try it, so today my Dad and I stopped by to try it out. The owner is also the cook and server, he it’s very friendly and is more than happy to give you a sample of anything you want. We tried the pork ribs and were sold, we got the three way which gives you the option of three different types of meats and two sides. We went with pork ribs, beef brisket, and chicken, for the sides we went with baked beans and potato salad. There was enough food for at four people and it was only $ 22, but I would have to say it’s the best BBQ in Sonoma county. So if you are ever hungry and in the area or you just want good BBQ check this place out you won’t be disappointed.
