Our office prides itself on preventive dentistry. Bacteria that cause tooth decay can now be easily tested for and new antibacterial treatments prescribed to reduce the likelihood of future decay.

Established in 2002.

Dr. Alavi has been practicing in Santa Rosa for over 10 years.

Dr.Alavi has continued to further his education by taking numerous continuing education courses in the fields of TMJ dysfunction, cosmetic dentistry, and full-​mouth reconstruction.

Dr. Alavi views his patients as part of his extended family and treats them with respect and love they in taking care of all of their dental needs.

Dr. Alavi is a graduate of USC School of Dentistry in Los Angeles, CA

Class of 1999. He grew up in San Luis Obispo and the Silicon Valley. Shortly after completing his D.D.S. degree, he opened his dental office in Santa Rosa. He is married and has three wonderful kids.

Dr.Alavi volunteers his time at Santa Rosa Junior College providing dental treatment for children and with Freedom Day USA where active duty personnel and veterans receive free dentistry.

My wife had a dental issue for two years. Multiple root canals, crowns, etc. She went to at least fifteen dental specialists from Napa to San Francisco, including many very expensive specialists at dental schools. Some improvement but not solution. She finally saw Dr. Alavi and he was able to both diagnose the cause and provide a solution, virtually eliminating the pain. Dr. Alavi is an extremely cautious, highly skilled dentist.

Dr Alavi is an uncommon dentist. Warm, patient, and gentle. Talented in his craft, dedicated to his patient’s best interest.
How hard is it to find an old world «hands on» doctor that does not have his assistants do everything for him?!

I’ve been going to Dr. Alavi for over a year and I am very happy with the treatment I’ve received so far. I’ve had him do cleanings, fillings and a permanent retainer repair.
I’m pretty OCD about my teeth, so I appreciate how thorough Dr. Alavi is, and I like that he does my cleanings himself. He seems genuinely concerned about the longterm health of my smile, so I certainly appreciate that.
His staff is always very professional and friendly as well.
I’d recommend Dr. Alavi if you’re looking for thorough longterm dental care!

Nobody likes to lie on their back and have someone they don’t trust put sharp objects in their mouth. So it’s wonderful to go to a dentist like Dr. Alavi who is extremely gentle, soft spoken, patient and never in a hurry. Dr. Alavi makes you feel at ease and he really takes the time to thoroughly explain procedures and issues. He doesn’t have a big ego, but is extremely knowledgeable. He is completely honest, and will tell you when something doesn’t need to be done right away. His office is clean and comfortable, and staff are warm, friendly and professional. It’s rare to find a dentist that takes their time with their patients the way Dr. Alavi does and I trust him completely.
