We just got back from dinner at the Villa and very disappointed. The atmosphere was a fake fancy and super overpriced. The food was very bland, just not good. We will not be going back.

I, and a friend, come here a lot after a few hours at the Y. The Villa is known to be said a very nice, courteous, responsible, cooperative, friendly place to eat. I Fully agree. I always go for their Happy Hour meals, which I find to be filling enough. The pizza is Cheesy, nice crust, and juicy Sausage. The Caesar salad is very moist, and cheesy and crunchy. Margaritas are tasty. A full meal is a Happy meal. Including Tip it comes out to be $ 25.50. The place is very clean, and warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Many TV’s planted everywhere. When it comes time for Super Bowl, World Series, the Villa is a comfortable place to watch them. Nice booths, and Bar Stools everywhere.

Good solid service, good food, consistent. A bit dated in décor, great view though.

This place is a hidden jewel! My wife and I were told about it from a friend and for her Birthday we went to the Russian River and ended up at The Villa for a few adult beverages and dinner. The view is breathtaking over looking the valley, the bar was great as well as the bartender. The dinner was great, reasonably priced and the wait staff were really nice. The bartender had told the wait staff that it was my wife’s birthday, they placed a candle in a bowl of Spumoni(at no charge) and sang happy birthday to her without any prompting from me! I wish I lived in Santa Rosa so I could eat and drink there more often! The only issue that I found was that there needs to be some TLC taken on the structure.

We waited a long time for our order to be taken, it was ok, the menu led me to believe I was getting something completely different than what I did get. Pricy as well which was to be expected. Kids pizzas were huge and good. Overall it really deserved a 1 star but the calm chowder was great all the other food ordered was pretty blan, no flavor.

My companion and I were surprised and delighted with this first dining experience at The Villa. From the time we entered the restaurant, to the moment we left, perhaps two hours later, after a delicious and leisurely meal, we were welcomed, guided, and served with care. It was a Monday night, and the dining room was mostly empty, though there were several people in the adjacent bar, and a lively crowd in a nearby function room. We sat in a semi-circular club seat, and found it an ideal spot for quiet conversation. The seat had perfect spacing relative to the table — we didn’t need to strain to reach our plates. And it was comfortable throughout the evening. The young man who brought our water was actually happy to exchange my ice-filled glass for one without. He didn’t turn away with a distant look, as if possessed by an urgent need to be anywhere else, doing anything but serving this very particular person. Our waiter, who arrived without delay, was a real pro. .. courteous, knowledgeable, patient, and bi-lingual. .. ready and willing to engage my companion in Spanish when she indicated a personal interest in his background. The food. .. I have to rave about the seafood bouillabaisse. Delicious, pungent, each bite invited the next. Perfectly abundant garlic. Calamari tender, not chewy. Shrimp done just enough — firm, not mushy. I ordered the half portion, and it was plenty for me, though I would have been happy to take home the remainders from a full portion. The entrée came with a fresh mixed greens salad with happily available oil and balsamic vinegar on the side. We were well-sated with the half portions. My companion’s gnocchi was OK but nothing to rave about. We were both more than satisfied, and quite happy to find this very reasonably-priced fine dining in Santa Rosa.
