I brought my CJ — 7 to Steve sport utility connection in 2005 to have a fuel injection kit installed, once installed he could not make it work When it was brand-​new! So I parked it in the barn because no one would work on it because it had an aftermarket parts. Then I found out about West coast automotive and talked to Brent about my problems, told me to bring it in right away. after Brent working on my jeep for a few days he was able to figure out what Steve did wrong at sport-​utility connection. He brought my first car back to life!!! I would recommend West coast automotive on Piner Road in Santa Rosa California to anyone!
Brent is by far the most intelligent mechanic I have met yet and let me tell you I’ve had my share from the seven cars I’ve owned!

Took good care of my truck, did great work and did it quickly. Good price. This shop installed a add a leaf kit I bought, got me new tires, mounted and balanced them, great customer service. I will be back there tomorrow for more upgrades to my Tacoma. I’d recommend this shop for sure.

Simply awesome. I am extremely particular with whom I deal with as far as cars go and Brent, the owner, and head mechanic is in a very elite league. I actually bumped into him while waiting to get some exhaust work done at a specialty exhaust shop here in town (JFs). He was completing a 68′ mustang coupe for a customer and clearly loved what he does. Mentioned I needed a mechanic in town and BAM never looked back.
From normal commuters, to rock crawlers, to muscle/​fast anything (street and track), to custom fab applications, blowers, suspension, etc He knows it ALL. In addition to his insane wealth of knowledge, Brent took the time to explain and show me anything and everything I wanted to bug him about foxbody mustangs as I brought in my 93′ low miles cobra.
He even went above and beyond by not just fixing a weld on my panhard bar that was unexpectedly torn, but cleaned/​polished, welded, and painted the end bracket attached to my frame… the right way. He stated he was concerned about rust and wanted to do it right and needed an extra ½ Hour or something to take the panhard assembly off and complete the job in a way that he stated «would never leave me on the side of the road after leaving my shop». Wow. Charged me probably half the labor it took. He wanted it done right and for that I’m a customer for life.
Left with an unbelievably priced visit for a few smaller things, routine factory service, more knowledge than before, and a mechanic I won’t hesitate to refer to anyone and everyone.
Brent is Honest and I would send my GF here and trust she would get the same treatment.

Just recently moved to Santa Rosa and was looking for a place to get my oil changed and to take care of my car and today I found the perfect place! The man working the front desk was nice and very helpful as were the mechanics. I got an oil change with a 30-​point inspection and they even washed my car for me! Great service and fast!
