Windsor Dance Academy offers affordable classes in Ballet, Hip Hop and Jazz. We teach young children and teens, and offer some adult classes as well. Our goal is to provide quality instruction to students who love to dance and to those who have always wanted to try. We provide a fun, non-competitive atmosphere for everyone to learn.
History
Established in 1989.
Windsor Dance Academy opened on Old Redwood Hwy in Windsor. Classes were held in Ballet and Acrobatics until 2002 when Hip Hop was included in the class repertoire. Jazz was also introduced in 2011.
Maximum Motion is our new Dance Company. We had a successful opening season last year performing at various functions around Sonoma County. Maximum Motion won First Place at the Cloverdale Citrus Fair.
Diane Donham is the owner and teacher. Her Student Amanda Westergard became a teacher in 2009.
Currently, Ms. Diane teaches Ballet classes and Miss Mandy teaches Jazz and Hip Hop.
The studio is located on Old Redwood Hwy in Larkfield between Fulton Rd and Airport Bld.

Business Owner
Diane Donham (Ms. Diane) began her ballet training with the Carol Petersen School of Ballet in 1969 and continued throughout her career. She studied under Mr. and Mrs. Dimitri Romanoff, Paul Curtis, and Richard Gibson. Ms. Diane took summer training sessions for four consecutive years with the Palo Alto Ballet School and the Marin Ballet School. She was chosen each of those years to perform in their summer programs. She performed for five years with the San Jose Dance Theatre, two of which were as a company member.
Diane Donham taught for the Carol Petersen School of Ballet from 1977 to 1991. She opened the Sunnyvale Dance Academy in 1984 and taught there until 1991. She opened the Windsor Dance Academy in 1989 and has been teaching in Sonoma County ever since.
Ms. Diane teaches the Ballet classes.
Amanda Westergard (Miss Mandy) has a Dance Major from Santa Rosa Junior College. She teaches the Jazz and Hip-Hop classes and is the choreographer for Maximum Motion.
