My A/​C stopped working on Monday. We live in Santee, CA which means it is HOT! Especially this past weekend and early week temps have been in the 100s. I called multiple Heating & AC companies. Most of their first appointments were for over a week and a half out! My husband works from home and I have a 3 and 5 year old. It was too hot for them to even sleep upstairs in their room being over 90 degrees in the house.
I called Air Flex around 3:30 PM on Tuesday and was able to book an appointment for 8:00 AM Wednesday. Sal showed up on time and was able to correctly identify the problem (which happened to be a blown fuse due to a bad capacitor) and fix it quickly. All of this only cost us $ 165 which we were extremely impressed with. They even told us if we had issues down the line due to our compressor they would credit the work done today to replacing it.
Wow! What great, quick and efficient customer service. We can see now why Air Flex has all 5 star reviews. Thank you so much for helping us out when we needed it! We will definitely recommend this company to friends and family!

Sal is awesome! It’s August and hot as heck right now. Our AC went out Friday night and Sal was able to fix it last minute the next day at 10am. This was the hottest weekend of the summer so far 102 degrees both days! Every other place I called could not see me until Monday night and wanted to charge us overtime rates. Sal was fast efficient and very affordable. My husband, kids, and I are so grateful and we are sitting in our very cool house right now with smiles on our faces!

Sal and his crew installed central air and a new furnace for us. We had just heating before, and the old system was original to the townhouse (30 years old). It was a challenging install, because it’s on a slab, there is no attic, and the HOA requires the condenser to be behind the backyard fence (with the furnace in the garage in the front of the townhouse). I had three companies come out and make bids, and Sal was not only quick to reply and come out, but very thorough in his estimation of what could be done. He gave me three options, and his bid prices were all lower than the other companies. I usually don’t go with lowest bids, but I felt Sal was very knowledgeable, really knew what I needed, and sells a dependable brand (Trane).
He told me the install would be 2 ½ days, because it necessitated cutting through a concrete walkway and trenching to put the condenser lines underground. They actually completed all the work in 2 days, and they did a great job. Most of the time Sal was not there but had his 2 crew members there, but he stopped by often, and also took part in the work — especially the complicated portions. I feel confident in the work that was done, and throughout he was asking if I had any questions, and what I thought about the work.
Overall, I am extremely pleased with the installation, the equipment, Sal and his crews’ work ethic, and the price I paid. I would recommend Air Flex to anyone looking for HVAC work/​installation.

Had an issue with my A/​C. Sal personally came out over the weekend, had the problem diagnosed and fixed within an hour. Once again GREAT SERVICE from SAL and AIRFLEX.

Sal got back to me quickly when I first called — although he was booked up – he told me when to call him back and when he thought he could come.
I called him back when he told me to and he made an appointment for the day he originally told me.
He gave me a one hour window and was there in the window.
He was polite, clean, found the problem, and fixed it.
He did great work, showed me the problem, What he was replacing, and best of all… his price was quite reasonable, and I felt like I received good value for the price.
I will definitely use him again, and would recommend him, to anyone who needs HVAC work done!

We just had to get a new furnace for our two bedroom condo because the old one broke down. Of course this happened right around a holiday weekend. Sal from Air Flex responded very quickly, came out immediately to give us an estimate which was priced just right and was very curteous. He did a great professional job and was wonderful to work with. We can only highly recommend Air Flex!

Our A/​C suddenly stopped working today (100 degrees outside!) and Sal at Air Flex was not only the only one willing to come right away, he was the only one who didn’t charge an outrageous service charge for coming out. He was professional, courteous, and knew his stuff. He said the capacitor had broken and my husband, who knows something about them, said he could tell right away that Sal was right. He replaced it for a very reasonable charge and we had our A/​C working again within less than 2 hours of it breaking. I recommend Sal and Air Flex to ANYONE in East County who needs Heating or Cooling service.

We had four AC/​Heating companies come by and look give us bids for replacing our 15+ year old Carrier system. Sal (Air Flex) came by and sold us on the merits of the Trane system, and it became clear that he really knew the details of his systems, what the benefits are vs. competitors, had plenty of experience, etc. I verified the quality of the system he was offering by talking to a relative who installs commercial systems. This answered the, «what is the right brand of system to use?» question (his recommendation was Trane or York). As for the installation work, it was also top notch. The Air Flex team showed up promptly when scheduled, was courteous (knocked before entering the house each time they came in), and everything was very professionally done. In two days we have a new system that I can control remotely from my iPhone/​laptop as well as from the thermostat. Very cool. Also, I have to say that the price beat their competition by a lot. At first I was reluctant to use a firm without a number of Unilocal reviews, so I checked BBB and called references. Everything checked out, and now I am quite happy we used them. As summer comes we’re looking forward to getting good use out of the new system.

these guys rock. I am very pleased both from their promptness, professionalism and ability to diagnose, solve the problem. He made special calls to insurance and got instant authorization to proceed with extra work. He could have made two trips or delayed the work, but he did not. I am so pleased to it that I want to reward them on Unilocal
