In a phrase; They’re the worst! Make an appointment — no show, call the office you get an answering machine — no return calls. You give them another try; disastrous — you make another appointment, everything set. NO ONE SHOWS, then you guest a call two or maybe three weeks later, did we have an appointment??? DAH
Moreover, I’m not fluent in Spanish, if you hire Blue Moon Pools — You better be fluent in Spanish as the workers in past only speak Spanish.

Updating my 8÷18÷14 review…
A couple of weeks after Roberto corrected my brown spots, more spots continued to appear. I phoned Blue Moon Pools and they came right away, discovered that the problem was the underlying rebar rusting through, and offered to totally replaster our pool and spa and put a better seal around the rebar.
They came on time, completed all the work and totally cleaned up. I was extremely pleased with their professionalism, consideration for our neighbors, and the end result.
Our pool was only 2 years old when we dealt with this problem. So far I’m very happy with Blue Moon Pools and would recommend them to my friends. They honor their warranties and took total responsibility for the do-​over.

We had used this company for a complete resurfacing of the pool about 4 years ago and were very satisfied with their work, their price and reliability. A recent unrelated problem reminded us to give them another try, and once again they were great. They responded promptly, diagnosed the problem, and recommended the fix. The work was performed as promised and we are once again delighted. This involved removing some tiles which they did without breaking one, cutting a spillway into the spa, and replacing the tiles. Their employees were great, did the job in a workmanlike manner, and cleaned up thoroughly.
Very good company to work with. They prefer to be paid by check but will accept a credit
card for the small service fee they get charged.

We had Blue Moon Pools out to give a bid on resurfacing our pool, coping, tile, add a baja shelf, and a few other things. Joey came out and seemed thorough enough when he was here. He said he would have a bid ready in a couple of days. I received the bid about a week later, but he said he would still «need some more time» to figure out the additional numbers. Already the bid was way higher than the other estimates we received, even without the missing costs. I have no idea why it would possibly take so long to come up with the full estimate. One company we had out (who we ended up choosing), measured and calculated the numbers on the spot and went over them with us, all in less time than it took Joey just to do his initial measuring.
I asked Joey to please send the additional costs when they were ready, as I did want a full comparison. That was a month ago and I still haven’t heard back. At this point we’re already 90% through the remodel with another company. Maybe he’s still busy crunching the numbers?

BMP has recently remodeled my pool: new plaster, new tiles & they partially rebuilt my spa. One month after the job was completed we noticed water seeping through the tiles in my raised spa. There was water stains on the button too.
(where the raised spa wall meets the concrete patio).
The silicon filling didn’t work and the tiles on the bottom started popping up because of water damage. Blue Moon Pools warranty departmet started replacing pop up tiles with new ones. Replacing several popped up tiles is only temporal solution, cosmetic one. New tiles will pop up again and that is exactly what happened.
*****Update1: One year after the remodeling, my spa is still seeping, all wet grout lines are now covered with calcium deposits and drip stains.
I will keep posting updates.

After the last inspection Blue Moon pools decides to redo their spa work from scratch. We agreed to do it off season …

Blue Moon honored their warranty. They stripped entire old plaster and interior tiles, sealed and waterproofed gunite, then retiled and re-​plastered my entire spa .
Blue Moon pools stood behind their work 100% and it was a pleasure to deal with them .
The whole crew members were very professional and knowledgeable. I am thankful that they took time to investigate the issue and even did research on new products. And what matters most to me, they did really care and worked hard to make things right. All steps were carefully monitored and supervised. Jessy didn’t leave the site until work was complete.

They just re plastered my pool and spa.
Did what they said when they said they would do it.
Cleaned up after each of the three days and it looks great.
I could not ask for more!

This company is working on my neighbor’s pool this week; this morning, their plaster truck came through the alley and destroyed my back gate, never stopping to tell me. The entire door is torn open and must now be replaced. «Joey», the manager came out when «Juan» took responsibility but then kept changing his story in order to take no responsibility. Turns out Joey is really more of a professional claims adjuster and insisted it was the City garbage truck, which I’d already contacted, and found, they were traveling in a direction that could not have caused this damage. Bottom line, they won’t take responsibility, I’m out hundreds of dollars to have my door replaced and painted, and this company is clearly in the habit of avoiding being honest. I have a huge pool that must be replastered… I assure you, they will not have my business.

I needed a repair on some tile and some other maintenance. I had a hard time getting a hold of someone to schedule the work to be done. Once the work finally was scheduled they never showed up. I finally called them and was told they wouldn’t be there that day. They told me this at 11am after I called them to see where the workers were. They rescheduled for the next morning. The workers showed up this time but were unorganized as to what was going to be done. I was told when I was given the quote that they don’t do electrical work but the workers had informed me differently. This company is all over the place. I got a reasonable quote from them but when you are spending that much money I would like to have some piece of mind to go with it. I would not use this company again. Too many issue and too much micro managing needed to be done.

OMG! this company is amazing super fast and friendly. My pool looks amazing. I highly recommend this company if you are building a pool.

This company was pretty terrible. They re-​plastered my pool last year. They didn’t do a very good job, including spraying the wrong color plaster in the entire pool, then having to demo the entire thing out. The black plaster they sprayed the second time (which we wanted) got all over the coping which stained it and hasn’t come out. When I complained, they kind of acted like I was overreacting and there was nothing they could do. I made so many complaints during the entire process I could not believe they do business this way! They didn’t care that they sprayed the pool the wrong color, and inconvienced us to the extreme by having to start the process completely over again. Would not reccomend this company, wish I would have spent the extra couple hundred to use a reputable replastering place! Would have saved me a lot of time and money in the long run.

Called this company twice and left two urgent messages and they never called me back. How do businesses get away with this? Avoid at all cost.
