I stopped by not knowing what to expect, after trying out a couple jeeps, I got a stellar deal on a Jeep wrangler 2000 very clean, smooth and tight ride, they went the distance by putting on some fresh tires !!! Very satisfied!!!

Conway motors in Santee is great. I purchased a F150 there 2 weeks ago and I am very pleased. The whole process from start to finish was very smooth. Moe the salesmen was very professional and articulate. I would recommend Conway Motors to anyone.

I saw a Fiat 500 listed on Craigslist so I called an inquired about it. I spoke to Mo over the phone and he was incredibly helpful and patient when answering my questions. I came in this past Saturday to purchase it and met Mo in person. Again, he was incredibly helpful and patient. He showed me how to work all the buttons and switches in the car & showed me how to fold down the back seats. When I decided I was satisfied with the car and wanted to purchase it, Mo was very helpful with setting up the license, registration, and warranty. I must’ve asked over 50 questions and he answered everything to my satisfaction. I drove the car off the property that day and was SUPER excited about it! That night I noticed that the left headlight was out & the following day (Sunday) I noticed that the mister for the front window was empty. I called Mo on Monday (they’re closed on Sundays) and he was able to fit me in that day. I was not charged for the bulb or the installation, nor was I charged for the mister. I was in and out within 20 minutes. I am overall so incredibly happy that I bought the car through such a reliable and honest dealership.

Conway Motors is one of a kind. My family has been going there for over 15 years. Not only do they have an array of cars for purchase, which we have bought 3 over the years, they provide superior customer service.

Moe at Conway motors was awesome! From the the first time I set foot on the lot he was a straight shooter with me. I have been looking for a smaller, good gas mileage car to drive to work and the Chevy HHR in his lot caught my eye, 57 000 miles on a 2010, to good to be true! (see photo section) Test drove, beautiful and excellent car. They bring in their cars from Hawaii, and this one has salvage title. Moe was straight about this from the beginning, they buy from auction and have shipped due to low mileage and I saved THOUSANDS under Bluebook value. My friends can’t believe what I paid for it. Also, your insurance company will insure at FULL replacement value.
Anyways, clean great running car, even the wife and kid agreed. He was willing to negotiate the price and offer an extended warranty. I got news for you, most dealers and private sellers sell as is, no warrantyMoe and Conway stand behind their cars! Had one minor issue, burned out headlight. Although I had to buy the light, I went ahead and replaced both, The Conway team did the work FREE! And I’m not talking bulbs, I mean the WHOLE lamp, that’s a lot of work! Thanks Moe! I will use them again as well as service my vehicles there for now on. Been two months and everything is great, except now I have to drive all the time because the kids like my car better than mommy’s!

My car buying experience was excellent at Conway motors. Moe the salesman was very helpful with getting us into the right vehicle at the right price. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a great used car.

OK, so I read all the reviews and decided to give them a shot despite the bad ones. Let me just say that I don’t recommend this dealership at all unless you are interested in a salvage title. I get that they are selling the cars cheap but they have to because they are ALL SALVAGE TITLES. But I had to go there, test two cars, go to my bank for a loan, get approved for that loan, and then go BACK to Conway in order to find out that all their cars are salvage. I don’t appreciate the run around where that’s concerned. They don’t do in-​house financing because they can’t because ALL THEIR CARS are salvage. They also lied on their craigslist ads about the titles being clean. If you have to lie to get people in then maybe the business model isn’t great? Just saying.

Never ever buy a car here. I regret ever purchasing a car from these people, I got a 2007 Ford Fusion with a little over 80,000 miles on it, and have had nothing but problems since. It has not even been a year and I am having to look for a new car because everything keeps breaking on it. And I still owe so much money on this stupid car, which they obviously did not check out very well, and way over priced it. It is not even worth half of what I owe on it. I seriously wish I had a time machine so I could go back in time and not have bought this car. Very disappointed customer, do not recommend this company. You will be much better off buying a car from a dealer that actually knows what they are doing.

I almost got conned by Conway.
I stopped by to look at a cargo van, took it for a test drive, and agreed on out the door price with salesman Mo.
When I was planning on coming back 2 days later with my check book, Mo called me saying he had another customer interested in the vehicle, and wanted $ 700 more for the van.
I insisted that we had agreed on the price, he said «I would never do that ! «
Contrary to the other reviewer, he would not let me take it to my mechanic, saying his insurance does not allow it.
In the mean time the owner said that the problem with taking it somewhere is the mechanics will tear it apart. Get your story straight guys. Long story short, did not buy the van, and would neverrrrr Go there ever again.

Conway Motors has provided exceptional service. I purchased a 2003 Nissan X-​terra SE 4WD in December 2006 from Conway Motors. It has been the most reliable car, and withstood the winter conditions of South Lake Tahoe, terrain of Anza-​Borrego Desert State Park, and is still going strong. We have brought the Nissan back for the normal repairs (oil change and tune up) as they are a trustworthy mechanic and dealer. Since then, we have brought all of our other cars to be worked on by Conway Motors as they are the only reasonably priced trustworthy mechanics I can depend on. Our other cars were not purchased through Conway Motors, however they have worked hard to repair a major oil leak on a Chevy Van, to water pump and radiator repair on a Land rover. We send our friends and family to Conway Motors for both great deals on cars and repairs. Just as loyal as we have been, they are equally loyal to us making sure we get quality repairs and customer service. Highly recommend!

We are a military family with small children and big dogs on a tight budget in San Diego. We buy used cars since we do not want a car payment and choose not to pay new car prices. If you want a new car with no blemishes you need to buy new and pay the premium prices for it. They also told us both cars were salvaged title vehicles upon our first inquiries. Well we just bought our second car from Conway Motors. A Jeep Commander with all the bells and whistles. We previously purchased a town and country minivan and put 90k miles on it commuting, driving to the beach, the mountains, the GRAND CANYON, Dog Beach… in this 2005 minivan. We had to have the door fixed … little boys can be destructive … and brought it to Conway … we saw the Jeep and traded in the van for the Jeep Commander. They were open, honest and fair with us from start to finish and they fixed a few little things for us gratis. We are happy, repeat, loyal customers. Be open with them about what you want and what you expect… they will be open with you about what they can do for you and what they cannot do for you.

I had a very good experience with my recent purchase from Conway Motors. They went through great lengths to make sure I was satisfied with my buy, even replacing a broken window motor a week after my purchase, which wasn’t even covered under warranty.
Moe was very accommodating, telling me to let him know of any issues that may creep up in the future. Even now, two weeks after my purchase, I would still make the 1 hour drive to have them do work on my car.
Sure I read the reviews, but I knew I didn’t have to buy if I had any doubts or if I felt I was being had at any time. I think these guys got a bad rap cause some people either don’t know the right questions to ask when making an automobile purchase or they’re so quick to express their anger on the web instead of first communicating to the dealer their concerns.
Maybe it’s just me, but I’d do business with them again.

I almost got Conned by Conway!!! Had a bad experience with this company and I didn’t even buy a car. When I went to buy a car, I thankfully took it to my mechanic… had to wait 2 ½ hours to find out the car was SALVAGED. The dealer should have told me this on the lot and not wasted my day. They didn’t apologize and they didn’t seem to care. When I drive by this place, I flip them off every time.

Gonna use this opportunity as the first reviewer to say avoid this place at all costs.
The majority (if not all) of the cars sold here are salvage titles, and the salesmen here «don’t believe» in Carfax (??? what ???). If you ask too many questions, they’ll stop taking you seriously as a buyer because they target people who don’t know what questions to ask. In the long run, it isn’t worth it.
