Jeff Davidson is an Award Winning San Diego photographer specializing in newborn photography, babies, children, maternity photography, intimate, high school seniors, and youth sports photography. He offers all portrait photography in a private studio located in East county San Diego, as well as several locations in San Diego County.

History

Established in 2003.

Jeff started out shooting youth sports in action and soon moved to shooting portraits of all styles. Starting with models in glamour and pinups with a specialty with ladies with tattoos he was soon picked up and published in Skin&Ink magazine and became a regular contributor.

In 2008 Jeff opened the doors to his botique studio in Santee. Specializing in unique portraits for maternity, newborn and children, as well as boudoir and high school seniors.

We are at the beginning of the Bebehood package with Jeff, and so far we are extremely happy! Jeff is very approachable and extremely talented. He has an amazing use of lighting, as well as a great eye for what’s going to look good in a photo. If you have no idea what you want in your pictures, he will help you, and if you have an idea (even if it’s inconvenient for him) he makes it work (even if he has to move all of his lights around to get what you want). It’s been a great experience, and I *highly* recommend him!

I looked and looked for a photographer that would match a photo that I had taken of my first son and just couldn’t find what I was looking for. THEN I FOUND COSMIC FROGS!!! I am so thrilled with the photos that I got taken of my newborn. Not only did Jeff match the photo (he went out of his way to borrow a chair that looked like the one I had with my son) but he had so many other ideas that it was the hardest task ever to pick the photos I wanted to purchase. His studio has such a positive vibe and was a great experience. i can’t wait for my son to start sitting so we can go back and get more pictures. You will not be disappointed if you give Cosmic Frogs a chance. He is the best there is!!!

I am new to San Diego and I googled maternity photography. I found several sites but found Cosmic Frogs to be my favorite. i loved the way he captured everyones natural expressions. I then compared prices and found out Cosmic frogs to be very reasonable and loved the packages he offers and the payment plan is very conveniant. I booked an appt to meet Jeff. I felt really comfortable in his studio and found Jeff to be very professional. My boyfriend really liked him too. Just had our maternity pictures taken, and have gotten so many compliments. We will be going back for our newborn session. I highly recommend Cosmic Frogs Photography for any type of photo shoot. He is amazing!

Amazing studio with a plethora of backgrounds, props, and accessories. Jeff worked wonders with my 8 day old (accidents and all). The pictures turned out AMAZING! I get compliments on them frequently. I recommend him to all of my family and friends.

I first found Jeff and his photography company 2 years ago on Myspace (whats that? :P) and had a shoot with him. i was only 18 going on 19 and wanted some pictures for my birthday so i booked my session and my pictures came out amazing. i love hello kitty and im sure he remembers me, because i did a whole hello kitty shoot and everyone still has my wallets and talks about those pictures from that day. He’s a super chill and very professional person. you’re made felt comfortable no matter how nervous you are and helps you out a lot. i’m super picky about how i come out and how i want my pictures to be but here at Cosmic Frogs i left one super happy lady and feeling good about myself. Thinking of going back to him this year for the big 21.

I had my maternity pictures taken here and I had a really nice experience. First of all, another photographer had flaked on me, and I posted how sad I was about it on Facebook. Jeff from Cosmic Frog saw my post and contacted me, offering to do my maternity pictures at a discounted rate.
He offered me a very reasonably priced maternity and newborn package.
When he took the pictures, I could tell he really knew what he was doing. Instead of just taking thousands of pictures and getting a few lucky ones, he set up every picture very exactly with the lighting and the background. He told me and my husband exactly where to stand and what to do to make the pictures turn out perfect, and then he only had to take one or two pictures for each pose. It really helped us because we wouldn’t have otherwise known what to do, and it showed he really cared about doing a good job. He even sent me a picture to post on Facebook! I am sure I will be happy with the newborn pictures.

I recently brought my son into Cosmic Frogs photography, and I highly doubt I’ll ever go anywhere else! Not only does Jeff Davidson do FANTASTIC work, but he works with you, until you are satisfied with the final result, and then some!
He is so patient (it’s quite intimidating taking a two year old in for pictures!) and he was totally willing to postpone the rest of the shoot, since my son wasn’t ‘in the mood’ that day. We now have gorgeous, high quality photos that warm my heart everytime I see them. I cannot thank Jeff enough, and I look forward to our Holiday photos :)

I did alot of research to find the best photographer for my son’s 1st years, and I chose Cosmic Frogs Photography. Jeff is one of the most talented photographers I’ve worked with. His hours are very flexible for the working family. Also, he is very patient with the babies, and even let us reschedule a day when our baby wasn’t feeling photogenic (at no extra charge). Jeff’s prices are very reasonable, and he gives a military discount. I would recommend Cosmic Frog’s to anyone looking for a professional photographer!
